The theme tune of the resident Big Good as he plays his piano, who, having fought evil his entire life to great effect and lead the resident organisation of evil-fighters as A Father to His Men, has recently been diagnosed with a terminal illness which will kill him in a matter of weeks, if not days. The heroine has been summoned into his quarters, where he decides to tell her all about his hidden past as one of the most murderous, evil criminals in the land before he turned good. He leaves her with the choice to either reveal the truth upon his death to show that goodness can fall upon anyone, or keep it secret to preserve his legacy, both of which would have uncertain consequences, as his slated successor is more of an extreme Knight Templar type.

A thief wearing oddly bright colors is sneaking around the perimeter of a building looking for a way to get inside. He gets several odd looks, but does not seem to care about the fact that there are witnesses present. At the moment, he is considering his options to break in. In the end, the police get called on him and he gets abruptly dragged off.

The end of the adventure, and it seems one of the characters is dead, having a funeral on a grassy knoll. But just when it seems heading for a Bittersweet Ending, the character turns out to be Not Quite Dead.

It's time for the final battle against the Big Bad, the wicked god that has attained its final form and is attempting to erase existence. The battle takes place on a surreal plane, completely away from every other location in the game. During the battle, the Big Bad attacks moments of the past to cause the heroes to disappear, but they persist through the Power of Friendship.

The Hero is infiltrating a factory where deadly robots are being created and tested. As he sneaks by the assembly line, he can hear the repeated sound of gunfire, and oddly enough screams of prisoners ... dying screams. Shocked by the insinuation that the corporation is using live test subjects as targets, he forges on and reconsiders his plan to collapse the factory. If people are still inside, destroying the factory might lead to significant innocent body count. At the same time, the longer he waits the stronger the Big Bad's army becomes.

They can't explain what's going on, but whatever it is, it will cause a paradigm shift in how they understand the world and ancient cultures. If only people back home would believe their stories ...

Funeral music for a Celtic warrior. He fought bravely to try and save his town from monsters, but in the end, there were just too many for him. They killed him and overran the town. The few people brave enough to remain in the town are paying their respects to the hero even as the monsters are running around and destroying everything.
