Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Freestyle Version: Good page, even without YKTTW. I'd say let it stand.
Tritagonist: Scrap it. As it stands it's useless.
the OOC page: why do we need a page for the players? Dump it.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.If the OOC page is about the players, then it's about troping RL people, and TVT doesn't do that.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettToday's work- and replieslist:
- The Adventuresof Duan Surk: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Everybody Speaks English In The Future: Actually, Eternal English is about a language staying the same in the past or future as it is in the present, so it wouldn't cover this trope. The lack of examples is still an issue, though.
- Messy Room: Do we cutlist straightaway or ask for a YKTTW first.
- Mythology Porn: To be honest, I am not sure if that actually qualifies as "But More". And even if it does, we still need to get the examples moved over.
- Noble Confederate Soldier: Still needs more work and input.
- Notebook.Sonzai: Hrmm ... we do get occasionally pages that are made to help with forum threads and roleplays. I don't think we have an esthablished policy on this.
- Sabotage: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Sandswept: Stub article; creator messaged.
- Snoop Doggs Hood Of Horror: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Twitch Plays Pokemon Emerald: Another stub work page; creator messaged.
- OOC.Wars Of Equestria: Cutlisted.
- Wringing Hands Of Nervousness: Needs some cleanup and effort still.
My (limited) input:
- Messy Room: cut
- Everybody Speaks English In The Future: I agree w/ Septimus that Eternal English is different. This might be tropeworthy — Unlaunch and send to ykttw.
No Phones Tonight was launched with no hats. I'd like it back in YKTTW. Opinions?

No Phones Tonight was launched with NO hats, with not a lot of replies and the tags "Needs Examples", "Description Needs Help" and "Up For Grabs".
Personally, I think the name sounds a bit awkward, as well as not describing the fact that it's supposed to be about turning off cellphones in order to have an undesturbed night together with your friends.
Webcomic.BIBLE should be Webcomic.Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. You had it right the first time, Septimus. On this link you can see the cover of the first chapter with the comic name, and a box over on the right side that reads: "Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth is a fantasy webcomic about a Heaven and Hell that is not cut out in black and white."

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickSeeing as I am half asleep at the moment (and was back when I looked at the page described ^; I should slow down a bit), I'll put this evening's worklist out there in case anyone wants to do the work themselves:
- BIBLE: That should be moved to the extended title.
- Mythology Porn: See, the problem I have with the page is a) that I don't want to ask for a cut without making sure that the examples have been salvaged and b) an "omnibus mythos" or whatever the proper vocabulary is doesn't look very Mythology Gag to me. I would say that about half the description can go, though - strikes me as a long digression from the trope.
- Quouse DND: The acronym title does not seem to be appropriate here; nevermind that they added a bunch of questionable redirects.
- Restaurante Macoatl: Stubby page; also, the grammar in the description looks very fishy.
- Twitch Plays Pokemon Fire Red: Stub article; creator messaged.
Evening, so I'll list all the unprocessed items here:
- Everybody Speaks English In The Future: Does someone want to YKTTW that, or shall we just cutlist it straightaway?
- Freestyle Version: Thanks to XFllo for cleaning the page a bit; I'll see to crosswick and namespace everything tomorrow.
- Gaming Force Comms: Stubby work page; creator messaged.
- Mythology Porn: See my previous post.
- Noble Confederate Soldier: No YKTTW, namespacing, indexing or crosswicking. I'll message them tomorrow.
- No Phones Tonight: Message the editor about YKTTW procedure.
- Notebook.Sonzai: I've called the creator to explain the page here.
- That One Part Of That One Level: Aside from being a stub, it's a clear cut The Same, but More situation.
- The Tritagonist: Given that the page hasn't improved, it's about to be cutlisted.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanEverybody Speaks English In The Future: I say kick it to YKTTW for development and such. If the original editor doesn't want it, stick it with "Up for Grabs".
That One Part Of That One Level: A scan of That One Level shows there's a few examples that mention 'that one spot on that level', but it's fairly integrated in gameplay, since it tends to make the whole level that much trickier because of what happens. I don't see how splitting of that one part would work in most cases, due to the intertwining of that Part with that Level in gameplay.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettI'm willing to take Everybody Speaks English In The Future to ykttw and be its sponsor.
Just remind me please: Do we unlauch it/cut it (i.e. create red link for it), or will the page still be there while its ykttw is active?
I also PM'ed leaskie about prematurely launching No Phones Tonight. Hope it gets back to ykttw.

About Notebook/Sonzai:
It was created to serve as a place to collaboratively draft a page and paste random stuff I wasn't ready to post yet, much like a Wikipedia user notebook.
However, I haven't really used it for quite a while, but I don't know how (or if) I can delete it.
If you want to delete it, go right ahead. (And sorry for any confusion.)
Danger: Intense gravimetric distortions nearby. Please reverse the polarity on your deflectors now.Re Everybody Speaks English In The Future: I would cut it. Way too stubby to be worth keeping around.
Today's worklist:
- Mythology Porn: Just a reminder in case we want to do something about this at all.
- Notebook.Sonzai: Pages can be removed through the cutlist.
- WWE Slam City: Stub article; creator messaged.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman@Sonzai: The Sandbox namespace is useful for that kind of thing, and since by definition things there are works-in-progress, playing around, and the like, they're not held up to wiki standards like the trope, work, and other pages are.

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettRe: Everybody Speaks English In The Future. OK then, let's cut it. I'll put it on my do to list and try to gather some examples. It would still be better to call it something like "everybody speaks one language in the future" — I know a Czech sci-fi series where the whole humanity spoke Czech in the 25th century. ;-)

Late afternoon recap, aside from chronic guest Mythology Porn:
- Cigarette Burns: Trope without YKTTW or crosswicking.
- Noble Confederate Soldier: Did some cleaning and messaged the creator.
X Fllo -the idea for a title is good, but that one's kind of long. Maybe pare it down to 'One Language in the Future'.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettCigarette Burns... Hmmm, that one is that grey area. The page isn't bad; the explanation is concise and clear and really doesn't need much more. The examples are good, what there are of them, and I can think of one from Theatre to add and I know there are bunches in movies...
But I hate the message that letting it slide by without YKTTW sends; most of the pages that aren't run through there are nowhere near as good.
I'd say leave the page (I'll do the crosswicking) and put up a YKTTW just to gather examples.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Today's work- and replieslist:
- Alan Partridge: Exampleless work page.
- Baka Cast: Stub work page in wrong namespace.
- Everybody Speaks English In The Future: Single Language Future seems good to me. The current page can be torched, though.
- Mythology Porn: Same as before.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYou Know Nothing About X's YKTTW is progressing smoothly.
need input on most recent discussion. it was suggested to split the trope into False Pretense (character misrepresents himself, thus getting You Know Nothing About X) and Outdated Knowledge (character knows about something, but what he knows is incorrect. may get You Know Nothing About X response).
it's also maybe implied was to keep Assuming Familiarity as "person assumes he knows someone, but doesn't for various reasons" (response here is usually "you don't know me" or "you don't know anything about me").

Is dast der Zerstorer? Odar die Schopfer?Irisless Eye Mask Of Mystery would normally be okay if it weren't for the fact that it was already brought up that many of the examples are Zero Context and weren't fixed by the time of launching.
(It had 5 hats though, but that doesn't necessarily mean it can launch, especially if problems are known already.)

Today's worklist:
- Disposable Cast: Stub trope without YKTTW or crosswicking. At least they indexed it.
- Mythology Porn
- Noble Confederate Soldier: No crosswicking and no indexing.
- UsefulNotes.Ukrainians With Depleted Uranium: Stub Useful Notes page.
- You Know Nothing About X: Commented in the YKTTW.
Today's worklist:
- Everybody Speaks English In The Future: That still needs cutlisting.
- Kill Six Billion Demons: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Today's worklist is up. Also, given the lack of further commentary on Mythology Porn I'll consider it done for the purposes of this topic:
- Iron and Wine: Exampleless work page. Creator messaged.
- NSG Senate: Exampleless work page; creator messaged.
- A Phaery Named Phredde: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- This Is Halloween: Page that needs crosswicking and some cleaning, but there are multiple editors.
Thanks for the input, Larkmarn.
Anyhow, it's midnight here in Switzerland, so I'll provide just a short work- and replieslist:
Also, the person behind the OOC page replied to a PM and said it was meant to be a page about the players rather than their characters.
