TLP Crash Rescue - Fixing prematurely launched TLPs and pages

Anyhow, it's midnight here in Switzerland, so I'll provide just a short work- and replieslist:

• The Dream Journal: Stub work page; creator messaged.
• Freestyle Version: Trope without YKTTW. The only thing missing is proper work name formatting, though.
• The Tritagonist: Stub trope without YKTTW.

Also, the person behind the OOC page replied to a PM and said it was meant to be a page about the players rather than their characters.

Freestyle Version: Good page, even without YKTTW. I'd say let it stand.

Tritagonist: Scrap it. As it stands it's useless.

the OOC page: why do we need a page for the players? Dump it.

• Everybody Speaks English In The Future: Actually, Eternal English is about a language staying the same in the past or future as it is in the present, so it wouldn't cover this trope. The lack of examples is still an issue, though.
• Messy Room: Do we cutlist straightaway or ask for a YKTTW first.
• Mythology Porn: To be honest, I am not sure if that actually qualifies as "But More". And even if it does, we still need to get the examples moved over.
• Noble Confederate Soldier: Still needs more work and input.
• Notebook.Sonzai: Hrmm ... we do get occasionally pages that are made to help with forum threads and roleplays. I don't think we have an esthablished policy on this.

No Phones Tonight was launched with NO hats, with not a lot of replies and the tags "Needs Examples", "Description Needs Help" and "Up For Grabs".

Personally, I think the name sounds a bit awkward, as well as not describing the fact that it's supposed to be about turning off cellphones in order to have an undesturbed night together with your friends.

Webcomic.BIBLE should be Webcomic.Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. You had it right the first time, Septimus. On this link you can see the cover of the first chapter with the comic name, and a box over on the right side that reads: "Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth is a fantasy webcomic about a Heaven and Hell that is not cut out in black and white."

Seeing as I am half asleep at the moment (and was back when I looked at the page described ^; I should slow down a bit), I'll put this evening's worklist out there in case anyone wants to do the work themselves:

• BIBLE: That should be moved to the extended title.
• Mythology Porn: See, the problem I have with the page is a) that I don't want to ask for a cut without making sure that the examples have been salvaged and b) an "omnibus mythos" or whatever the proper vocabulary is doesn't look very Mythology Gag to me. I would say that about half the description can go, though - strikes me as a long digression from the trope.
• Quouse DND: The acronym title does not seem to be appropriate here; nevermind that they added a bunch of questionable redirects.
• Restaurante Macoatl: Stubby page; also, the grammar in the description looks very fishy.
• Twitch Plays Pokemon Fire Red: Stub article; creator messaged.

Everybody Speaks English In The Future: I say kick it to YKTTW for development and such. If the original editor doesn't want it, stick it with "Up for Grabs".

That One Part Of That One Level: A scan of That One Level shows there's a few examples that mention 'that one spot on that level', but it's fairly integrated in gameplay, since it tends to make the whole level that much trickier because of what happens. I don't see how splitting of that one part would work in most cases, due to the intertwining of that Part with that Level in gameplay.

@Sonzai: The Sandbox namespace is useful for that kind of thing, and since by definition things there are works-in-progress, playing around, and the like, they're not held up to wiki standards like the trope, work, and other pages are.

It would still be better to call it something like "everybody speaks one language in the future" — I know a Czech sci-fi series where the whole humanity spoke Czech in the 25th century. ;-)

Cigarette Burns... Hmmm, that one is that grey area. The page isn't bad; the explanation is concise and clear and really doesn't need much more. The examples are good, what there are of them, and I can think of one from Theatre to add and I know there are bunches in movies...

But I hate the message that letting it slide by without YKTTW sends; most of the pages that aren't run through there are nowhere near as good.

I'd say leave the page (I'll do the crosswicking) and put up a YKTTW just to gather examples.

One language in the future — how about Single Language Future? Same sort of name as Single-Biome Planet for the same sort of concept.

You Know Nothing About X's YKTTW is progressing smoothly.

need input on most recent discussion. it was suggested to split the trope into False Pretense (character misrepresents himself, thus getting You Know Nothing About X) and Outdated Knowledge (character knows about something, but what he knows is incorrect. may get You Know Nothing About X response).

it's also maybe implied was to keep Assuming Familiarity as "person assumes he knows someone, but doesn't for various reasons" (response here is usually "you don't know me" or "you don't know anything about me").

Irisless Eye Mask Of Mystery would normally be okay if it weren't for the fact that it was already brought up that many of the examples are Zero Context and weren't fixed by the time of launching.

(It had 5 hats though, but that doesn't necessarily mean it can launch, especially if problems are known already.)
