Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.

Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

my vote is in, and I think there were 2 other votes to send it back (including Marq, who brought it up). I can send it back if we think 3/4 is enough votes... that is about the number of frequently active users in this thread.

It either needs to be brought up to the minimum wiki standards pretty promptly or it needs to be cut. Leaving it up in its current state while you take your time drafting the content isn't a reasonable option. Taking your time to draft it well as a Sandbox page (or taking time to incorporate the content into the main page instead of a characters subpage) will probably yield a better page than rushing to try to meet the minimal standards quickly enough to avoid it being cut.
Considering the work page has a short description and barely has the required number of tropes, a character subpage isn't really needed in the first place. The Characters namespace is intended to split off character tropes to keep the work page of manageable length (from Namespace: "These are an optional split option for works with Loads And Loads Of Characters."). Theriomorph Chronicles doesn't need that split—keeping character tropes on the main page would help by making the main page less of a stub.

Caused the Big Bang was launched with 9 hats and one bomb. Okay, well and good. However, there was no consensus to launch or even any activity for almost a year, still issues with whether or not it's covered by Creation Story (as-written, it absolutely is), and the description is absolutely anemic. Might be a trope here (something like Anticlimactic Big Bang) but it should be sent back. Also, the launcher didn't participate in the discussion at all.

Because it had 9 hats, looked launchworthy, and commenting on the discussion is not a requirement from what I know of YKTTW rules.
I don't think the argument that "it's covered by Creation Myth" holds up either, since that's exactly what a Sub-Trope is: it folds into a larger trope, but provides an additional meaningfulness that is tropeworthy. That is provided on account of being the actual, scientific origin of the universe according to the latest science as we understand it. I'll point to tropes like Species Lost and Found and Not So Extinct for a similar type of division.
Aside from this specific proposal, wasn't there a discussion a while back about reforming the hat/bomb situation? I'm scrolling through YKTTW and there are tons of tropes that may or not be launchworthy. Maybe we should raise the bar to 10?

It's not a subtrope, as-is it's a duplicate of Creation Story, a trope that isn't even mentioned in the (miniscule) description.

The execution of Creation Story and Caused the Big Bang is very different. Caused the Big Bang is a side-effect of something else; usually a twist at the end of a story, it's resolved very quickly and often involves the death of the character responsible. A Creation Story is, well, an entire story - someone deliberately sets out to create a world over an extended period of time, and we're shown how it's done in depth.
It's like the difference between To Be a Master and Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?.

Kinda my point. Look at the description of Caused the Big Bang. It's tiny. It's unspecific. The "Compare to..." section is longer than it. It needed more discussion, rather than a blind necro-launch.
I agreed earlier that there's a distinct trope in there. But because of the way it was launched, it's indistinct and poorly named.

New account ~Karl 7848 created Characters.Manifest Destiny without anything resembling proper formatting (it's literally just a list with no associated tropes, folder structure, etc.) Sent stub notifier.
Sidenote: they're also a serious Serial Tweaker, which while not technically against the rules, is worrying when combined with poor edits like this.

Siren only has a single sentence.
Putting the "Pal" in Principal was quietly launched with 17 hats (and only 3 bombs). That seems like classic Just Launch It Already, except my issues with the YKTTW went completely unanswered, though the name was at least changed.
- Main.Siren tells us that its airing on Freeform.
But other than Mermaids and One-Word Title, there's not much to add.
Some kind of Character Title, Antagonist, IIRC?
IIRC, the Mermaids do look like human women, if I remember the commercial right.

That is poor. When the description is two sentences, starting "for some reason" (unironically), and ending "you decide!", you know it has no idea what it actually is. Solid idea, good name, plenty of examples. But poor execution — motion to send it back.
Noting a thread was made in Trope Talk basically saying it was launched in a poor state.
A better page was made by a different account at Siren (2018) so I just turned that one sentence page into a redirect
FanWorks.Splash and FanficRecs.Splash were both made by a new account and just contain an external link
