    • Ado Town (mentioned when they're in Cherry Blossom Gardens) is a capital city of the Feudal Japan-like clan. They're Inhabitated by forest and mountain dwelling natives who they make electrity using water and copper, thanks to the Kawa river and copper mine they settled on centuries ago.
    • The Bean Temple is a Mayincatec shrine, which they're inhabitated by jungle-dwelling natives who animate stone statues. The soldiers dressed like similar to that worn by Jaffa and wield energy staffs, and some has cloaking devices.

  • Monstrous Germs: German is an anthromorphic germ/bacteria encountered in Sweet Valley who lives in his house filled with flith and garbage. He can spread mold and mildew on any anthropomorphized food and other people by biting them. His really huge problem is the soap.
  • Purely Aesthetic Era: Ado Town is still stuck in feudal japan, though it's a modern suburbia.
  • Retraux: The game itself designed to look as if it came out on the SNES and PlayStation with high bright enchanted graphics of SEGA CD and simillar to graphics of cancelled Rayman on SNES. And of course the gameplay is the reminiscent of Turrican and sort of Jazz Jackrabbit.
  • Shifting Sand Land: The Wild East found on the Island of Raising Sun, despite it's a middle east-style setting with cactuses.
  • Slippy-Slidey Ice World: Mt. Lumihiutale
  • Speaking Simlish: Despite everyone talking english, inhabitants of Neurosis have their own French-Japanese like language called "Moumise", though this never heard anywhere, we can just see only text in the background. The language seems to sound different with different people to fit their personality, such as Konata's sounding like an anime girl, Clancy's sounding like grunting, Artificer Mark's sounding like chicken-like gibberish, and etc.
    • Also their names are in Moumise, like for example: Erick to Erique, Konata to Cometta, Dill to Dyl, etc.
  • Toon Town: Toon City found on planet Toontopia.
  • Urban Fantasy: The Planet Neurosis itself, it collides with Science Fantasy.
  • Transforming Mecha: Chairman Clancy can transform his UFO into various vehicles and other giant mechas he built.
  • Unexpected Gameplay Change: A Puyo Puyo minigame found inside the Stinky Egg on the control panel, while nearly finished construction, in which the player must defeat the chicken stormtroopers three times in order to get a key piece.
    • Unexpected Shmup Level: a 2D space shooter sequence starting after launching the spaceship, and also the final one which takes place in a space station before opening Clancy's HQ.
  • Wutai: Cherry Blossom Garden which it's near Ado Town and Fort Hiro, which they're marked on the Island of the Raising Sun.

How well does it match the trope?
