Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.

Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

yeh, though you may be able to write in-character, that doesn't justify a Self-Demonstrating character page. If everything's just borrowed from the character pages, they can be cut listed.

I think we can kill all those SD character pages. It's getting especially bad with these blurbs of telling the reader that "you meet a guy"—especially because isn't the entire point that the character writes their own page?
I also can't think of anything more ridiculous than the "best read in somebody's voice" bits, that one for Tails is just...wow.
Illidan is my favorite Warcraft character, but megalomania and anger don't make for a distinct textual style. Kenshin at least has characteristic verbal tics—"Oro?" and self-depreciating humility—but I still don't think that's enough to warrant SD page treatment.

Some of these pages also have weird sub-indexes, mainly the other fighting game characters that I've seen...and also the Hulk having a list of people he won't smash and people he will.
Speaking of which, I kinda liked the The Incredible Hulk page at first—Hulk Speak and the all caps are pretty distinct. The fact that it keeps going on and on really kills the joke. "HULK WRITE TROPE PAGE" was kinda cute, "HULK WRITE TROPE PAGE. HULK DESCRIBE SELF. HULK DESCRIBE COMICS. MEET OTHER HULKS. HULK HAVE OPINIONS ON THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE. HULK—" just runs it into the ground.
