Recommendations for Perusal by 5P

Having actually gone through a good chunk of the Video Nasties a few months ago, none of them are really sexual in nature, or even all that gory compared to modern standards. The only two that would need going over would be I Spit On Your Grave, which is infamous for its depictions of rape, and Last Orgyofthe Third Reich, which I haven't seen but just SOUNDS like a bad idea.

You need to add the Fan Fic namespace, like so. The fic doesn't specify their ages beyond "old enough to procreate," but I'm sure as hell not going to defend it.

I haven't read Fill The Moon, although I've heard of it as basically "that Love It or Hate It Marluxia/Vexen fic" so I checked out the page out of curiosity. I might need context here, but an adult has sex with a barely-pubescent girl (who gets pregnant?) and they're supposed to be a good (if not necessarily healthy) couple? I get the feeling that doesn't fly under the new rules.

Cannibal Holocaust: Gorn, averts No Animals Were Harmed on-screen, "graphic depictions of sexual violence" according to the article.

Cannibal Ferox: A rip-off of the above, with more real on-screen animal deaths.

Last Orgy Of The Third Reich: "interspersed with scenes of torture, rape, corpophagia, infanticide, cannibalism, and sexual humiliation"

I Spit on Your Grave: has, according to this site, "graphic violence and a 45 minute rape scene which is the main focus of the movie"

Most of the others don't have enough detail in the articles to judge by the article alone, and I am horrifically unqualified to judge Gorn movies (which is, with a few exceptions, what got movies onto the Video Nasties list in the first place).

Actually, scholarship has stated that not many of the Video Nasties were nearly as bad as reputation would suggest. Mostly the British panel that made the list went for movies with obviously horror-like or Nazi-paraphernalia-including titles.

I was unsure about how to handle Cannibal Holocaust, because, on one hand, we aren't deleting for just needless gorn, we have pages for other works that kill animals (horrible as that is - I mean, we'd have to go through the Milo and Otis movie if that was suddenly criteria), and the same list that I cited to justify Salo being appealed has that film as one of its top horror movies as well. I'm unfamiliar with Cannibal Ferox and its write-up seemed mild.

Kind of off-topic, but I do want to know if live animal abuse is something we're considering flagging for now, because if it is, we should start combing for those movies too.

Laculus I have seen Arcade Gamer Fubuki , and really, it's extremely mild. Sure, you see a high schooler's panties, but it's not total porn or anything. It's just a comedy of the absurd.

The page for Da Capo says it is "based on a visual novel", but when I checked the history an edit from eight days ago put that in there - previously the page was saying the work is based on a dating sim. The edit claimed that this is false, and removed all traces of the work's dating sim origins/connections. But a quick Google search for "Da Capo" "Dating Sim" gives us this:

Following this experience, I will be disinclined to give the TVT page on a work much weight when judging the kind of work it is.

I misunderstood "lolicon in the worst way possible" to be a lot of graphic lolicon everywhere. I do apologize for the misunderstanding.

As for the stuff with clean versions, I am NOT bashing the clean versions as pedoshit - I'm saying we should actually keep articles on the cleaned-up versions, but clarify that's what they're on.

as for the page images, I think if the girls in them look underage, that means the work should be reviewed. Not necessarily removed, but reviewed.

Raso, I'm not interested in a fight. I was trying to help by going through the pages for stuff that might include content that needs to be reviewed, and I made some mistakes. Which I apologized for above when I was called on, and which I will look out for in the future. I said at the open to my post that I was going by page content and listed tropes.

It would be better to get your facts straight before listing things though, misleading info got things deleted that really shouldn't have.

And the just look younger thing is something I had issues with. Works with Puni Plush faces or Tareme Eyes (the dominate artstyle in anime / VN etc right now.) people just assume things are Pedoshit (I really hate that word.) when it's not in any way that..... Actual Lolicon Bait you gotta look at bodies not faces.

In my opinion, the panel's time doesn't need to be wasted by every anime with adults that some westerner thinks looks under age.

Not to mention there there are a lot of idiots out there that seem to think it is cool and witty to add tropes like lolicon on everything, the way so many people think that is is cool and witty to write up entire subpages of Getting Crap Past the Radar on kids shows and Ho Yay on every show with more than one male (or female as the case may be).

Bondage Queen Kate is straight up porn with a flimsy sci-fi plot used to justify more porn.
