This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

Hmm. Quite right on both counts. Never mind!
The What Measure Is a Non-Human? quote would fit on Just a Machine but that one has a quote already (which I don't like btw).
Evil Is Hammy has two page quotes. I prefer the first one, but it apparently contains a spoiler.
The first one is more accessible. Let's remove the other one.
Done.
By the way, are quotes actually allowed to have spoiler tags?
^ Nope. Handling Spoilers says no spoilering above the "examples" line.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpJeanne d'Archétype uses a quote from the Trope Maker that doesn't really have anything to do with the trope, and is probably more suited for her useful notes page Joan Of Arc.
I agree the current quote should be moved to her useful notes page. Based on what I understand the page to be referring to I suggest:
"We had to save you because you're the mockingjay, Katniss," says Plutarch. "While you live, the revolution lives."
The bird, the pin, the song, the berries, the watch, the cracker, the dress that burst into flames. I am the mockingjay. The one that survived despite the Capitol's plans. The symbol of the rebellion. (27.41-42) - Catching Fire
The quote for Boring, but Practical is rather long,I was thinking of shorting, but I'm not sure how it should shortened.
New theme music also a boxThe page quote on Death of the Old Gods was recently changed from:
->Tell the king; the fair wrought house has fallen ->No shelter has Apollo, nor sacred laurel leaves ->The fountains are now silent; the voice is stilled. ->It is finished.
to:
->The fortress burns ->Broken my heart ->I leave this world ->All gods are gone
Disclosing my bias here, I originally added the first quote. I'm terribly fond of it and think it beautifully encapsulates the sorrow and trauma of the trope involved. The current page quote just includes the phrase "All gods are gone," which doesn't really add anything to the page- it just re-states the page title.
But, in the interest of avoiding an Edit War, I thought I'd bring this here.
Yeah, the old one is better.
I just posted a concern on the Trial Balloon Question Discussion page, but since I rarely see any movement on discussion pages, I thought I'd link to it here.
Specifically, I'm concerned about the fact that the page quote is an unmarked, prominently displayed, relatively significant, and pretty late-series spoiler for the show it's from. In fact, I'm reasonably sure that even when the quote is spoken in the show the audience is not aware that it's a Trial Balloon Question, but my memory could be faulty. Nonetheless, just having the quote there is a pretty big spoiler.
Also, hilariously, the show the quote is from is in the example list... appropriately spoiler-tagged.
The quote for Deadpan Snarker was changed in July from
->"Wow, sarcasm. That's original."
—>— Dr. Horrible, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
to
->'I provide ... much needed sarcasm."
—>— Anya Jenkins, Live-action TV SHOW/Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Did this go through here? I liked the older quote better.

I dunno. If we were looking at Sarcasm Mode, the older one would be pretty much perfect, but if you recall the actual line delivery by the character on-screen, it wasn't spoken particularly deadpan...ly.
The latter sounds more appropriate for the tone. Although the line itself isn't all that pithy.

The quote on Head-in-the-Sand Management is more related to Bystander Syndrome than the actual trope.
" it wasn't spoken particularly deadpan...ly. "
I know, it was quite a disappointment compared to the text version.
I wouldn't use the word "disappointment" to describe anything Neil Patrick Harris does. But still, the line is spoken with a little more gusto than I would expect from a "Deadpan Snarker". A trope which, incidentally, neither NPH nor Dr. Horrible seem to fit, in my opinion.
I don't think the exact tone the line is delivered matters. The old quote is much better, and the "deadpan" part of the Deadpan Snarker is apparently not as important as the "snarker" aspect.
Oh, yeah, someone added a line to that effect back in February. Well, that's a bit silly, but who am I to argue?
There was a rampant misuse of the trope (where people omit the "deadpan" aspect of the trope when adding wicks/examples), and they decided to just broaden the definition to fit the examples. Anyway, I reverted the quote.
Neither the page quote for Jack of All Stats nor the one on the Quotes page seem to be on point.
I agree.
Devil in Plain Sight's quote contains spoiler font.
Stripped the spoiler tag and potholes. Though if people are concerned about the spoilers, we can always switch it with something from the Quotes tab. The nostalgia critic one is amusing.
Parental Marriage Veto has two quotes. I prefer the second- the Baccano one doesn't seem particularly relevant to the trope.
Crown Description:
What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
That sounds like the direct opposite of the trope, actually - it's a definition of "humanity" to which whether Bracewell's actually human or not isn't relevant. And I think you're misreading the difference between those tropes anyway - isn't Not Even Human specifically about a reveal that a character's nonhuman making it okay to use lethal force?
