Just wanted to note that the page quote is an unmarked, prominently displayed, relatively significant (and fairly late-series) spoiler for Battlestar Galactica (Reimagined). I don't have a better suggestion, but not all pages have page quotes, and I'd rather not have one that put such a big spoiler up on top of the page.
Also, if the quote ends up being changed it won't matter, but what's with the "(thing)"?
Hide / Show RepliesYep, and it's under discussion here for this reason.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNeat. Maybe it should've been under discussion on the page where it actually exists.
I think the case in the Friendship is Magic fanfic Eakin's Hard Reset might be notable, given Twilight Sparkle uses a TIME TRAVEL LOOP SHE'S BEEN STUCK IN to come out as a lesbian to her family so there can't possibly be any repercussions. This being an Friendship Is Magic fanfiction, The Power of Family does indeed win out, and she's left criticizing herself for being such a coward...

Hide / Show RepliesAs an aside, I noticed that when editing an existing post with remarks.php, both the cancel and submit buttons seem to save it. This only seems to apply to existing posts, however, as I just tested when trying to save this post initially. It's still a pretty annoying bug though, so... might want to fix that?
I don't have enough time to worry about reporting this bug until later today. I've been Wiki Walking all morning and it's time to stop. Someone do me a favor and report this for me if I forget!

I get the funny feeling this trope was renamed from "Would You Still Love Me If I was An X" instead of just becoming a subtrope of a separate trope named Trial Balloon Question... Lovely that there's no clear way to understand this, but here we are with a description that was clearly written specifically for the highest-possible stakes version of the Trial Balloon Question, instead of the somewhat broader range of Question topics that are possible, illustrated by several examples as well as the page image (which of course is a comic, because why use a real Picture when you can Use A Hundred Words).
So anyway, just pointing out that the description could probably be updated to indicate that the Question could range from asking about "what if [minor thing that you might not like] happened?" to the original trope meaning, a major revelation about the asker that could destroy their life. It's too much of an overhaul for me to dive into now, but fair warning/invitation if someone else wants to take it on.
