Well one of my characters, Irma, usually just wears smart casual. Businessy stuff with a casual bent really. Think what your teacher usually wears but a little more chic. She works as a secretary at a Fashion House after all.
As her superheroic self, Ms Amazing, she averts the old Clothes Make the Legend HARD. She's rarely seen in the same outfit and they range from standard {{leotard of power)) to skirts and everything inbetween. The only constant are her colour scheme and her "A" insignia.

Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.Phil usually wears a t-shirt or a jersey of some type. I think I would draw him with the same style of clothes, but change the colour and print every episode. He also owns a logn coat but doesn't wear it often. Howard is nearly always wearing a t-shirt with his band's logo. He had a bunch of them made to sell to their fans, but seriosuly overestimated the amount of fans they would get. So he now has a crapload of identical t-shirts. Zaran usually wears a purple top and the black skirt that seems to be nearly rigid and looks kinda like an oversized lampshade. At this point it's Stylistic Suck, as I could totally draw a better skirt, but I consider that one to be kinda iconic. It's her defining article of clothing. While she does occasionally wear different outfits, they will pretty much always include a black skirt of some kind.
Tulla is usually in bright, high waisted skirts, bare feet in the summer, fur boots in the winters and button up blouses with loose sleeves.
Iha dresses similarly, though she wears breeches under her skirt, keeps her skirts trimmed so they won't trip her, always wears shoes and wears shirts with tight or cropped sleeves because of the physical labour she's often involved with.
Mhai wears dark colours (to cover blood spots), usually breeches, tunic-like shirts, shoes and he always has a water proof jacket with him.
Blue wears leather shoes and a leather jacket and other than that dresses similarly to Mhai. All four dress in simple linen, muslin and cotton paired with fur for the winter. They're very practical people, being as they live in a wasteland.
Nothing suits my characters like a suit!
My Wattpad — A haven for delightful degeneracyQuestion:
I have trouble giving any characters of any gender unique and conventional outfits.
Can someone give me some advice?
Read my stories!YES!
But I will need more specific information like what their personalities, lifestyles, and body types are.
OK.
Characters I need help with:
- Renee: Contortionist, Perky Goth (in personality, think Robin only perkier). Her fighting style has yet to be figured out. More on the girly side and should be dressed in a reasonably attractive way. Early twenties. Body type, skinny, (as are most of my characters) but on the tall side. Blonde.
- Jonny: Animal tamer, serious child, thirteen years old, baby of the group, missing an eye and an arm on the same side. Uses a whip to fight. Short, due to not hitting puberty yet.
- Tyler: Bifauxnen. Very chillaxed go-with-the-flow type. Fights with weighted yoyos. Currently has a skater boy style going on, but I want to add something to it. Very flat, fairly tall, solidly built, but scrawny-ish.

That's all I can think of for now. Well, that's a lie but I don't wanna go overboard.

Read my stories!- Renee: A unitard or leotard under a knee-length sundress with a reasonably full single-layer skirt. Black leather ballet slippers. May wear close-fitting jewelry that doesn't dangle.
- Jonny: Navy, semi-casual dress slacks which may or may not have suspenders, with a lighter blue work shirt that has rolled up... sleeve. Brown belt and boots. Newsboy cap to mask his missing eye. Possibly a vest.
- Tyler: Somewhat tight capris with a tank top and shoes. Try neutral accessories. Lots of beaded or cord bracelets and necklaces rather than fine chains. Possibly piercings, but they should be nondescript.

Well, Tyler is a Bifauxnen, so I don't think that outfit would really work.
Read my stories!Jeans and a muscle shirt, then?
Tara Gilesbie: A slightly chubby red-headed girl who wears fleece jackets and hand-me-down T-shirts, with old blue jeans. But she also likes to go to Hot Topic when she has enough money and buy a whole bunch of ill-fitting clothes. Like fake leather gloves up to her elbows and itchy fishnets and combat boots that are three sizes too small.
Jenny "Raven": A brunette who doesn't necessarily go to Hot Topic, but she does like wearing a lot of black clothing and makeup.
Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way: Self-fucking-explanatory
Willow: Likes wearing a lot of lace, but takes more of an effort to abide by Hogwarts' dress code than Ebony. She still wears pentacles and makeup, but usually wears simpler things like rock band T-shirts instead of leather corset thingies with lace around the edges.
Would you kindly click my dragons?Malcolm Harkness: Longcoats (his favorites are beige), black jeans and t-shirts. He never wears anything else, period. With enough goading and blackmail, you can get him into a tuxedo but that won't stop him from referring to it as a "scratch-happy monkey suit".
Rebecca Usanagi: T-shirt and a skirt worn underneath a lab coat. While this is her favorite combination of clothes, she's generally much more flexible about her wardrobe than Malcolm is. Never seen without her rounded glasses. They're actually not a fashion choice, she just genuinely has poor eyesight.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialBratsk: wears leathers for most of his assassin jobs (the ones that don't need a disguise), linen and aprons for his legitimate job, and a pair of pants around the house, occassionally a shirt.
Alex: always dresses exempt in hardcore combat. Always either red or black. Ocaasionally some white. Not much jewellery.
Neth: Dresses like a cross between the Sultan and Aladdin; mainly grey but likes black, burgundy, and navy blue. Wouldn't be caught dead in orange.

"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - MediaIn my most recent story, both of my main characters dress very plainly. Neither one is a fashion plate. I haven't yet decided on their superhero costumes, though:
The Heroes:
Brian Arthur: Wears shorts or jeans and a long-sleeved t-shirt most of the time. Since he's such a Big Guy, he has trouble finding shirts that fit him. For shoes, he wears hiking boots most of the time.
Hilda Bingham: Wears a polo or button-down shirt with boot-cut jeans and flats. She always carries a scrapbook with her, which she uses to jot down random ideas.
Logan Prince: Wears a shirt with two pockets, a Waistcoat of Style, and cargo pants, so that he can keep stuff in his pockets. When he's reporting for the School Newspaper, he has his camera around his neck.
The Villains:
Hera: Her formal attire is a crisp white suit, a black button-down shirt, and a tie. Her fighting attire is a black long-sleeved shirt, cargo pants, and combat boots. She doesn't dye her hair, and as such, it is grey. Her hair is cropped fairly short.
Delilah: Her formal attire is a slinky dress with corseting and cut-out sides. Her fighting attire is a pair of painted-on black pants, a leather vest, a bracelet around her upper arm, and flat boots. Her hair is long, but when she needs to, she-ll put it in a Slipknot Ponytail.
Rascal: Looks a bit disheveled. Has shoulder-length messy hair, ripped and dirty jeans, and a tank top.
Professor Jacob Glampers: Dresses as plainly as he can. Wears mostly black.
Neutrals
Mr. Bingham: Wears a button-down shirt with rolled up sleeves, tie, and slacks, with no blazer. Owns a lab coat as well. Has blond hair, which is sometimes slightly mussed. Wears Stoic Spectacles.
Coach Matt: Black leggings, a tank top and sneakers.
