Tropes in Your Works

I looked and couldn't find a thread on this, so if there is one I sincerely apologize. But since I couldn't find one, I'm making one! So tell me, fine tropers, what tropes are you utilizing in your fiction?

Mine are:

The Heaven's Lights Series:

• Took a Level in Badass The primary goal of the followers of the cult of Zekador. Kaiya in particular spends the series trying to do this, and succeeds, to an extent.
• Fantasy Pantheon The Kassorian Religion.
• All the Myths are True Again, the Kassorian Religion.
• Flat-Earth Atheist Zanthar, Tsanthar, and also Faraday to an extent.
• Rage Against the Heavens/Did you just punch out Cthulu: The overall goal of the heroes is to defeat the evil god Meroneth
• Achilles in His Tent/Five minute retirement When our story begins, Kaiya is going through one of these.
• genius ditz/Bunny-Ears Lawyer Kaiya.
• I let Gwen Stacy die poor Zanthar is this for Kaiya.
• Death by Origin Story Zanthar
• unlucky childhood friend Zanthar and Zia. They don't end up together, and then they die.
• Heel–Face Revolving Door Rutherford. Make up your miiiind already.
• Put the "Laughter" in "Slaughter" Faraday when he goes into Berserker-Mode
• earn your happy ending/gainax ending: I haven't written the ending yet, but I'm going for something incoherent but also uplifting.
• Petting-Zoo People Everyone.
• absent aliens Played with. There appear to be several different species inhabiting the same solar system, but they are actually all the same species, and can even interbreed. They're more like breeds of dog than anything. However, there are no actual humans.
• Ascend to a Higher Plane of Existence Zekador is so far the only mortal to have achieved this.

Broken Sky:

• Took a Level in Badass Why yes, it is my favorite trope. Dorian takes one of these.
• wrench wench Tai
• Half-Human Hybrid Tai again
• but your wings are beautiful Dorian's feelings towards Tai
• flanderization/chickification In my head, she's a well rounded, interesting character. On paper, all she seems to want to do is obsess over Dorian. Whyyyyyyy /headdesk
• lost technology the world is littered with it. Both the heroes and villains use it to their advantage
• knight templar Saedra
• Damsel in Distress Saedra pretends to be this
• Start of Darkness Jerhan was a nice guy, until his wife cheated on him and caused him to go crazy.
• redemption equals death I didn't want to do it, but it was the only fitting ending for poor Jerhan
• the atoner Sylvia
