- Abandon Shipping: Taddl/Kelly was popular early in the show's run. It stopped being shipped after GLPaddl and Vikelly were officially teased by Episode 2 and 3 respectively. The creator sunk the ship officially, when he showed Taddl and Kelly finally going on their date in his very own Alternate Universe Fic, the date in question was very awkward.
- Alternative Character Interpretation: The Master is prone to this, was all he did really just because? The fact that he's revealed to be a puppet of the Community only lead to more questions. Is the Master his own being? Or was he always controlled by the Community? Was he even aware that he was just a puppet?
- Awesome Music: Antiheld (Anti-hero), the Season 1 title song. Hellseher (Clairvoyant) from Season 2 also counts, as well as other minor tracks.
- Base-Breaking Character:
- Coldmirror. Some consider her the best character of the first season due to her complex characterization, being both goofy and mature when she needs to be and being a perfectly executed mole, who's elimination is an absolute Tear Jerker, others think she comes across as annoying, and think of her as an Elimination Houdini, who really should've been killed off sooner.
- iBlali. Some people think he's a badass and sympathize with his rage after he lost Kelly, others, especially his real-life counterpart's fans, think his voice makes any of his attempts to be serious completely laughable.
- Kelly. Genuine All-Loving Hero, or a massive idiot with a Horrible Judge of Character?
- Stegi. Adorable woobie, who has a lot of depth, especially in his relationship with Tim? Or a boring, obnoxious character who really didn't deserve to win?
- Rewi. Some think he's a badass and really should've been given more screentime, others think his Hot-Blooded attitude makes him annoying to watch, and think his early death is entirely deserved.
- Dagi. Some hate her partly because her real life-counterpart is a very divisive person, others can look past that and genuinely think she's the most interesting character introduced in the second season. Unfortunately, the former won, as she was one of the firsts to be killed off.
- HandOfBlood. Some hate him for his unfair hatred against Dagi and generally being somewhat of a self-entitled Jerkass, others point out that he's much more complex than that and especially appreciate his Heroic Sacrifice.
- dieserpan. Some think his Creepy Monotone makes for some well-needed comedy, others dislike him as they see him as a Flat Character.
- Horrorkissen. Some love her silly, nerdy personality, others find her obnoxious. Naturally, she's also the first to be killed off.
- A non-clasher example: Couchman. Hated by viewers for interrupting the action with his Framing Device. Others seem to like him just fine, to the point where some were upset about him (almost) being Adapted Out of the movie.
- Crack Pairing:
- Due to Julien being a Casanova Wannabe in Real Life, some ship him with Kelly or Kaddi, despite the fact that he insults them as "subhuman" and "spazzer" respectively.
- Elimination Houdini: Coldmirror managed to survive 4 episodes despite being the least voted character in Clash B since Episode 3... for some reason. Yeah, nobody knows why she was the next to be axed, since the real Coldmirror is pretty much the Sacred Cow of the German Youtube community. This caused a bit of a Broken Base, with her fans saying that she deserved to survive, while others got tired of her character.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: Some non-clashers, such as:
- From Season 1: Sami Titani, (Franken-)Wookiee, Unge, Frikadella Schlömpel, Wookiebee, GemanLesMil, Sarazar-Ball, the Master.
- From Season 2: Dat Misset, the Masterhunters and LUNA
- From the final season: MiiMii
- J Justified, since the community came up with most of these characters themselves.
- Evil Is Cool: The Master is a popular character for this reason, besides being an Original Character in a series where all of the characters are Expies from popular Youtubers or Franchises. Until his Villain Decay in the Season 1 finale, that is.
- Fan Fic Fuel: Pick 10 of your favorite Youtubers, put them on an island and let them fight to the death. Considering how adaptable the premise is and the show itself often being described as an animated Fanfiction, this was bound to happen.
- Fanon: The characters being named with "Clash" at the end of their names (such as "KellyClash", "iBlaliClash", etc.) is used on the respective wiki. However, this is never addressed in the show proper. This becomes a bit Hilarious in Hindsight once the show reveals that the characters are programs based on real life Youtubers, so the "Clash" at the end could be seen as their code, similar to the "Mon" from Digimon.
- Fan-Preferred Couple:
- GLPaddl was this from the get-go. Even the Ship Tease between Kelly and Taddl didn't stop the fangirls. It seems that the creators agreed with the fans, since Taddl and Manu officially share a bed after Season 1.
- HandOfBee was popular immediately after the opening of Season 2 was released. The final scene, Dagi glomping Max is probably the indicator.
- First Installment Wins: Season 1 is universally regarded as the best season, since the characters are more varied and based on very well-known Youtubers and the general tone being a lot more upbeat in comparison to the Too Bleak, Stopped Caring atmosphere the other two seasons caused.
- Ho Yay: Oh, boy. It's pretty much a given that every single male character had Ship Tease with another male. Not too surprising, since the creators themselves include a homosexual couple.
- Jerkass Woobie: The Master in Season 2 is actually GLP, who struggled with Taddl wanting to explore what is beyond the island. Even though Manuel told him not to multiple times, Taddl wouldn't budge, so he eventually travelled with him to the edge of the world, where Taddl was sucked up by the barrier. Manuel tried to follow him, but he physically couldn't due to his responsibilities. It got worse, since Taddl's disappearance caused a system error which wiped out the rest of his friends, leaving him all alone. To not Go Mad from the Isolation, he created Dat Misset and the Masterhunters to keep him company. He antagonizes the new Clashers after they arrived, believing that the ursurping the winner will help him get his friends back.
- Les Yay: Melina's interest in LUNA can be seen as romantic. Coldmirror/Horrorkissen is also teased a bit in the series finale.
- Moe: Season 1: Kelly, on the male side: GLP and Chan, Season 2: Dagi, on the male side: Stegi and Concrafter
- Moral Event Horizon: Coldmirror arguably crosses it when she murders Kelly and Viktor in cold blood subverted when it's revealed she didn't kill them.
- Most Wonderful Sound: Coldmirror's voice note is smooth like butter. No wonder her voice is used for the lyrical songs of the show.
- Narm: It's hard to take iBlali seriously when his voice makes him sound like a human Kermit. Even the real iBlali thought of that as an issue and even made fun of it after the series ended.
- One True Threesome: Some throw Julien into the GLPaddl ship... for whatever reason.
- Portmanteau Couple Name: note
- GLP/Taddl = GLPaddl
- iBlali (Viktor)/Kelly = Vikelly
- Kurono/Concrafter = Kurocraft
- Hand of Blood/Dagi Bee = Hand of Bee
- Stegi/MC-Expert = Stexpert
- Paluten/Sturmwaffel = Paluffel
- Paluten/GLP = GLPalle
- The Scrappy:
- SchmEdgar, Paluten's pet pig is disliked for feeling out-of-place, both in characteristics and in design. Him turning out to be a minion of the Master has also something to do with this, since it came out of nowhere, even for a show like this.
- Out of the Clashers, JuliensBlog from the first season was so unanimously hated that he was the very first to be eliminated. Mostly for being a one-dimensional Jerkass who was too mean-spirited to be considered funny or entertaining and being based on a Youtuber with a massive hatedom. When he eventually came back, the writers kept his appearances to a minimum, seemingly acknowledging how unpopular he is.
- Ship Mates:
- Season 1 had Vikelly for GLPaddl.
- Season 2 has Stexpert with KuroCraft and HandOfBee.
- Strangled by the Red String: Stegi and Tim. Tim was pretty much introduced as a Honey Trap for Stegi to fall for. After Stegi (cheesily) saves Tim from being Brainwashed and Crazy, the Master turns Tim into a doll, which Stegi carries around with him, using it as a motivation to win and potentially get him back. Sounds like a compelling romance story, right? Well, no. Considering that Tim isn't a main character, is only seen interacting with Stegi for the most part, spends most of his screentime as an inanimate object and doesn't have any real characteristics to speak of, the romance feels forced. Not to mention that the creators are clearly trying to emulate the success of GLPaddl from the first season.
- The Woobie: Everyone. Especially GLP, Chan, Coldmirror, Gronkh, Season 2's Master (aka GLP), Stegi...
