RG33 is a YouTube channel that creates parody videos of various anime series and video games over still images with the Impact Font. They are mostly known for their Chainsaw Man skits, but sometimes do skits of other series.

RG33 provides examples of:

  • Abhorrent Admirer: While by no means ugly, Power's chaotic attitude and bullying turns Kobeni off from reciprocating her feelings.
  • Accidental Hero: In "nayuta steals a car dressed as a penguin," as a result of Fami and Nayuta stealing Kobeni's car, Kobeni never gets the Grimace Shake which is proven to be deadly.
  • Adaptational Sexuality: In the abridged series, Power starts off as a closeted lesbian who resents same-sex relationships before gradually dropping the mask.
  • The Alcoholic: Shoko, especially in the Christmas Episode where she ends up drinking 20 beer bottles in the present. And according to Gojo and Geto, she's had several other drunken episodes to the point that the two made a tier list of them depending on how cool or insane they were.
  • Ambiguously Gay: When Power accuses Kobeni of being a lesbian, Kobeni never actually confirms the accusation — just dodging the question. While her defensiveness against Power's homophobia suggests that Power is correct, this hasn't been confirmed.
Kobeni: So what if I was?! (…) Takes one to KNOW ONE!
  • Anachronism Stew:
    • In the Chainsaw Man skits, there are several 21st century cultural and technological references made for things like YouTube and Twitter among other things despite Chainsaw Man taking place in 1997. Lampshaded by Aki when Power somehow has a PC from the early 2020s:
Aki: Wait a minute, how do you have this?
Power: I have my connections, y'know.
Aki: It's 1997. You shouldn't have an early 2020's Talon PC.
    • Multiple Demon Slayer skits have the characters playing Uno, despite that game not being invented until 1971, while Demon Slayer takes place in the Taisho period. This gets lampshaded by Tanjiro in "tengen and rengoku play uno".
Tanjiro: Wait... it's the Taisho era... how do we even have Uno?
    • Spy X Family takes place in the 1960s, but one skit features Anya and Damian playing the 2010 video game Minecraft.
Yor: Loid... what is a Minecraft?
Loid How should I know? It's like, the 1960s or something...
  • An Asskicking Christmas: The climax of gojo and geto celebrate christmas turns into this, as after being put on the naughty list, an extremely drunk Shoko unleashes an absurd No-Holds-Barred Beatdown on Santa with the intent to kill him in retribution.
  • Angrish: Nayuta devolves into this when Kobeni tells her that they don't serve tacos.
  • Armored Closet Gay: Power constantly screams about how much she hates the LGBT community, frequently grilling Kobeni over (apparently) being a lesbian, but she herself is gay, failing to realize until too late that she said she could get a girlfriend for Valentines and eventually confessing to Denji that she has a crush on Kobeni.
  • Atomic F-Bomb:
  • Bait-and-Switch: After being informed that a lesbian is a woman who is attracted to other women, Denji makes a long pause before providing his response, causing Aki and Kishibe to get the wrong idea, and to warn him to choose his next words very carefully... only for Denji to then reveal that he's perfectly okay with it.
Denji: What? What did you think I was going to say?
Aki: No, it's just... Well... You've never heard of a lesbian before, so I thought-
Denji: You thought I was gonna be homophobic?
  • Berserk Button:
    • Power goes into a fit of shouting whenever gay people are discussed, and even when they're nowhere to be found, calling them "weird and evil". After she confesses to Kobeni and gets shut down, she moves this on to being envious of happy couples in general.
    • With Makima, do not question her liking of Burger King. And DON'T fuck up her order, as Power and Kobeni found out with... Explosive results.
    • Nayuta insults Asa for listening to Weezer, calling it nerd music and calling her a weezo. She also appears to dislike Denji and Asa singing The Smiths, ironic considering Denji later says Makima listened to them.
  • Big Eater: In "kobeni works at burger king," Makima orders a Whopper Jr. with onion rings with a drink, a Double Whopper with no cheese, a number two with a large drink, extra fries and no salt. Kobeni asks if she can really eat that much.
    • Fami is also a huge eater herself like in canon, ordering exactly what Big Smoke did in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
  • Break the Cutie: "asa mitaka might be a femcel" takes place during Part 2, and while not elaborated on too much thanks to Nayuta, Denji indirectly states that he knows Makima was a manipulator in a sad tone when talking about The Smiths.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: All the time.
Power: W—… (Stunned Silence) Was that an ad break?!
  • Brick Joke: In "power meets denji's girlfriend," Reze notes that Power stinks and that no girl is going to kiss her when she smells like that. In "power finds out about pride month," the exact situation occurs when Quanxi flirts with the Blood Fiend, only to immediately back off when she gets closer and notices her smell.
  • Brutal Honesty: In "power meets denji's girlfriend," when Power asks why she never gets any kisses, Reze bluntly tells her that she smells terrible.
  • Butt-Monkey: Kobeni is yelled at constantly, panics at everything and hates her job. "kobeni needs a break" has been the lightest video thus far, and even then Kobeni has to deal with Himeno's drunken idiocy.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: Makima freely admits to being a manipulator who is grooming Denji (albeit, her main priority is trying to control the Chainsaw Devil as in-canon).
  • Character Development:
    • In "Kobeni works at Burger King," Kobeni shuts Power down when she goes on another one of her anti-gay spiels, eliciting gasps of surprise from the Blood Fiend.
    • Power goes from being a self-hating homophobe to becoming envious of "loving couples" in "power meets denji's girlfriend." She had apparently been like that for three weeks. Once Kobeni shows up in "power starts a youtube channel," Power doesn't shout at her for being a lesbian, makes more than one obvious pass at her in fact and instead shouts at her because Power doesn't think she needs to babysit her and Denji, and because she's short. She also doesn't deny being a lesbian when she accidentally says she's one to Kishibe, instead changing the subject to Aki. Eventually, she starts proudly admitting being gay, if only to fuel her ego.
    • Dante has a problem with saying "Jackpot" at the smallest things, which Lady notes when he and his brother play Uno. She then notes that him saying his catchphrase at her and Nero liking his fried rice over Vergil's Berried Delight is a bit more fitting.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: While Denji is still as much a sex-obsessed teen as in canon, here he understands Incompatible Orientation and states that he won't force anybody into an arrangement they aren't comfortable with if it's solely for his own pleasure, even though he didn't know what a lesbian was prior. He then starts bawling when Makima claims to be a lesbian, despite stating earlier that he should just move on to somebody else if his crush is gay.
  • Christmas Episode: It's Exactly What It Says on the Tin for "gojo and geto celebrate christmas".
  • The Comically Serious: Falling Devil treats Nayuta ordering a taco rather seriously and threatens to kill Kobeni if she doesn't do it, going on a tangent about how past trauma makes her powers stronger as Kobeni shivers in fear thinking of Power screaming at her.
  • Commander Contrarian: When Lady tries to help Dante stop Vergil from winning his Connect 4 match, Dante makes his next move specifically because he won't listen to her. This results in Vergil getting a guaranteed win, no matter what Dante does next.
  • Cruel Twist Ending: "mitsuri and shinobu watch barbie" has Oppenheimer suddenly drop a nuclear bomb on Barbieland, blasting Mitsuri, Shinobu, Sanemi, Iguro and Tony Hawk out of the movie, with Ken on the verge of death long enough to give one last speech to Sanemi before perishing. During the credits, Mitsuri notes that Oppenheimer made two bombs, blowing them all up.
  • Disney Owns This Trope: In "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners pacing be like", Lucy stops her speech to David to ask why "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" hasn't started playing, to which David responds that they can't play it due to copyright.
  • Disproportionate Retribution:
    • In "kobeni Works at burger king," Makima blows up the fast-food restaurant, with Kobeni and Power inside, for the crime of "getting her order wrong."
    • Falling Devil threatens to kill Kobeni via making her levitate and fall if she doesn't make Nayuta a taco, which eventually extends to messing up the order in general. She subsequently makes her float when she trips over with the order, although her fate is not shown.
    • In exchange for Power falling asleep during training, Kishibe threatens to slit her throat and kill her, but she wakes up before he does so.
    • Yoshida notices Long eating a plate and calls it a bit weird. Quanxi then proceeds to get into a fight with him over it.
  • The Ditz: Power only rarely says "Lesbian" or "LGBT" despite screaming about them every day, instead using similar words and terms such as "Lebanon," "Lego Citizen," "KGB," or "LGTV." Denji also suffers from this, using "BLT" when expressing his support for the LGBT community, and "Homeophobic" when referring to Power hating gay people.
  • Drives Like Crazy: While driving Gojo and Geto to Burger King, the two quickly realize Shoko sucks at driving, having cheated on her driver's test. And when she goes through the drive thru, that entails her repeatedly slamming into a wall before she ends up at the speaker, car now upside down.
    • Apparently Gojo's somehow worse, as during a past Christmas, Geto was left in sheer horror of Gojo's driving, not helping is that he ran over Rudolph during that incident.
Geto: YOU ARE SOMEHOW, AGAINST GOD'S WILL, DRIVING WORSE THAN A DRUNKEN SHOKO! HOW IN GOD'S NAME IS THAT POSSIBLE?!
    • Yukari-sensei, as is typical, in "osaka adopts a seal". Her commute includes driving on sidewalks, standing still on the freeway, crossing lanes to dive off a bridge, and running over the seal. Twice.
  • Drunken Master: While Shoko's typically The Alcoholic, pissing her off sufficiently (As in Santa putting her on the naughty list for example) causes her to turn into this, as she busts out several Drunkard Cursed Techniques, and in particular she managed to pull off several Black Flashes at will in tandem with a Dempsey Roll combination.
  • Drunk on Milk: Kobeni lampshades this trope in "kobeni needs a break" by mentioning that Himeno somehow got intoxicated on soda from a Burger King.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: The first two Chainsaw Man skits had Power voiced by text-to-speech, as the channel didn't have any voice actors for her. She gets a voice actress halfway through "power eats her vegetables" while choking on a carrot, as the channel had found one for her by this point.
  • Fantastic Racism: Power brings to light that she canonically hates humanity as a whole, although she doesn't express this much in exchange for being homophobic.
  • Flanderization: Lampshaded in "power confesses to kobeni," Aki threatening to not give Power any candy or gum and have her only eat vegetables for dinner is enough to make her apologize to Kobeni for being homophobic while an article on the subject from The Other Wiki appears onscreen.
  • Flat "What": Done masterfully by Kobeni.
Kobeni: Power, listen. Don't make a fuss about me being here. I can cook, clean, and take care of the apartment.
Power: YOU'd make a GREAT wife!
    Kobeni: (Stunned Silence) What.
    Power: UHHHHHHHHHHHHHH—
  • Foreshadowing: In "nayuta steals a car dressed as a penguin" the radio mentions a Devil going about, killing people. Separately, the Grimace Shake is a running gag. After Nayuta wins the costume contest (thanks to all of her classmates being dead thanks to the Devil), a massive Grimace Devil, the very same Devil behind all of the deaths, appears and tries to goad Nayuta into drinking the Grimace Shake she got as a reward.
Shoko: Eat enough of these and you'll probably... Explode. And die.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes:
    • At best, the cast tolerates Himeno, but no one can stand her especially when she gets too drunk and inadvertently flirts with minors.
    • Power can be aggressive and mean especially when she antagonizes Kobeni. Unfortunately for her, this is one of the main reasons why Kobeni rejects her confession.
  • Freudian Slip:
    • While assuring Denji that she was not a lesbian, Makima nearly lets it slip that "Chainsaw Man" was her type.
    • Despite being homophobic, Power would accidentally expose her sexual orientation a few times, right up to admitting outright that she was a lesbian when talking to Kishibe about Kobeni (although she then immediately changed the subject).
  • Giver of Lame Names: In "osaka adopts a seal", Osaka decides to name the seal "Kanye", despite the seal's apparent dissatisfaction with the name (as Chiyo points out). Her second suggested name, "Rivers Cuomo", doesn't meet much favor either.
  • Gone Horribly Right:
  • Good Angel, Bad Angel: Shoko has the "two devils" variant of this in "gojo and geto celebrate christmas", as one is your typical shoulder devil resembling Shoko with Sukuna markings to match... And the other is just a devil Shoko that's singing and quoting Hamilton, which Geto considers "an evil all its own".
  • Good-Times Montage: "tengen and rengoku the third wheel" features a montage depicting all the fun times Tengen and Rengoku had together lately, during which the former was completely neglecting his three wives. The first portion of the montage is a flashback to the previous video where they played Uno, while the rest of the segments are made up for this one.
  • Groin Attack: At the end of "reigen's new business strategy", Walter White tries to get Reigen to cook meth for him. Reigen refuses and asks Mob to deal with him, which results in the latter using his psychic powers to give Walter testicular torsion.
  • Hypocritical Humor: In "power finds out about pride month," Power gets offended over Aki's presumed homophobia never mind the fact that she herself was a self-hating lesbian who partook in gay bashing.
  • I'm Going to Hell for This: In gojo and geto celebrate christmas, after Shoko had unleashed the most over the top drunken beatdown on Santa and seemingly killed him (Along with Rudolph Jr.) while Gojo and Geto sat by and watched, Utahime has this to say:
    Shoko: Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells-\\'
Utahime: (Utterly exasperated) We're all going to hell.
  • Immediate Sequel: "gojo and geto celebrate christmas" takes place right after "gojo and geto eat burger king", with it beginning right after Shoko has healed Gojo after he got sliced up something fierce by Toji for killing Frank.
  • Inelegant Blubbering: Kobeni. All the time.
  • Instantly Proven Wrong:
    • This exchange after Power gives a "The Reason You Suck" Speech to Himeno:
Denji: "Maybe Power is actually becoming more understanding guys-!"
      Power: "I HATE GAY PEOPLE!!!"
    • Power defensively says that no girl would want Quanxi. Then her four girlfriends show up.
  • Irrational Hatred:
    • When asked why she doesn't like lesbians in "power is maybe a little homophobic'', Power pauses, seemingly unable to come up with a proper answer, before claiming that it's because they're "weird" and "evil"; not once explaining why she believes this.
    • Nayuta frequently antagonises Asa for listening to Weezer, claiming that they make "stupid nerd music" and calling her a "weezo". When asked what a "weezo" is by Asa, Nayuta only responds by repeatedly calling her a "weezo".
  • It Amused Me: Makima claims to be a lesbian and watches Denji have a breakdown over it due to his chances of being with her being dashed, only to then tell him she was kidding.
  • Laughably Evil:
    • Makima openly acknowledges that she is evil with her being upset at Beam taking Denji from her mainly on the basis that Beam may be a better manipulator than her. She also blows up a Burger King restaurant just because Kobeni and Power got her order wrong.
    • Falling Devil treats everything seriously, using Kobeni's past experiences with Power to make her levitation stronger and threatening to use said levitation on her to kill her if she messes up Nayuta's order, doing so when she trips.
  • Let's See YOU Do Better!: After Damian lambasts her Minecraft house, Anya challenges him to do a better job. He responds by showing her a huge, detailed mansion that he built, much to her shock.
  • Lovable Sex Maniac: Denji and Power both downplay this; Denji's crush on Makima only shows up every so often whenever Makima is around. Power, on the other hand, makes multiple passes at Kobeni when she shows up to babysit the two while Aki is gone, although Kobeni makes it clear that she has no desire to reciprocate Power's feelings.
  • Loving Bully: Power constantly harasses Kobeni for being gay, but she herself has a crush on her, as she reveals via Freudian Slip to Denji. Kobeni is having none of it. Kishibe lampshades how improbable it is that Power would genuinely have any positive feelings for Kobeni considering how much she harasses her.
  • Lyrical Dissonance: Makima has a very pleasant and pretty singing voice... that she exclusively uses to the Burger King "Whopper Whopper Whopper" jingle to herself and variants thereof (including a lyric about grooming minors from one of its many edited meme versions).
  • Medium Awareness:
    • The only person in the Chainsaw Man skits who doesn't have it is Aki, who is constantly confused when other people break the fourth wall.
    • Reigen's ad that interrupts Power's dream tells the viewer not to skip the ad and that they can't anyways. Not that it stops the ad from being skipped regardless.
  • Mood Whiplash: In "inosuke takes an iq test" once Inosuke hands in the eponymous test, Tanjiro starts up a heartfelt acknowledgement that he is genuinely rather clever and that he wasn't raised like normal humans, but that his intelligence (or lack thereof) doesn't make him any less of a person. Shinobu then returns his test with a 50, prompting a Precision F-Strike from Inosuke.
  • Mundane Made Awesome: The whole basis to the "Dante and Vergil" series of videos, since it revolves around Dante and Vergil playing UNO, Connect 4, and cooking in their typical stylish way.
  • Mundane Object Amazement: In "inosuke takes an iq test", Inosuke is amazed when Shinobu hands him a pencil, which he calls "a writing device with a soft end".
  • Musicalis Interruptus: "tengen and rengoku the third wheel" opens with Tengen's wives singing "Me, You, and Steve", only to be cut off when they realize that Rengoku is at the date with them.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • When explaining to Asa how he was introduced to the Smiths, Denji mentions that a redhead told him it was manipulator music.
    • Denji is down in the dumps when an imposter Chainsaw Man was stealing his thunder.
    • Also from "nayuta steals a car dressed as a penguin," Fami and Nayuta accidentally hit Kobeni with a car calling to mind when Kobeni and Power accidentally hit a devil hunter in the manga. Ironically, Kobeni is hit by her own car.
  • Never My Fault: Himeno tries to blame her intoxicated self for her history with unsupervised teenagers. While presently intoxicated.
Himeno: It was the drunk me that did it. Please forgive the sober me.
Kobeni: You're not even sober right now, Miss Himeno!
  • No Indoor Voice: Power, full stop.
  • No Kill like Overkill: In "gojo and geto eat burger king", Gojo's plan to get Utehime out of the titular Burger King so she could hang out with him and the others? Use Blue to annihilate the Burger King while Utehime's still inside.
  • Not So Above It All: When Aki finds Denji and Beam watching Rocky, he starts screaming in celebration alongside the two when Rocky gets to the bell, and chants alongside them when they decide to marathon all of the Rocky movies.
  • Only Sane Man: Between Denji, Power, Kobeni, Himeno and Makima, Aki is the most normal character in the Chainsaw Man cast, with Kishibe sharing the role with him whenever he shows up. When Kobeni isn't suffering a breakdown, she can also be this.
  • Out-of-Character Alert: In "kobeni confesses to power" Kobeni acts emotionless, aggressive and actually reciprocates Power's feelings, to which Power notes outright that it's out of character. Kishibe chews her out in completely eradicating Kobeni's personality for the sake of her romance fulfillment dream.
  • Pædo Hunt:
    • In "denji has a date with makima," Makima chants "Whopper whopper whopper whopper grooming minors whopper whopper" while driving away, in reference to the massive age difference between her and Denji.
    • Everybody is weary of Himeno thanks to her vomiting in Denji's mouth and then trying to have sex with him. Apparently, this all happened with Aki as well.
  • Pun: Vergil's signature dish is called "Berried Delight," which Nero notes disappointingly is a homonym for Vergil's theme song Bury the Light.
  • Precision F-Strike: Makima drops a magnificent one when Denji doesn't show up for their date.
Makima: Where. The fuck. Is he? (Weirdly impressed) Did Beam just… steal him from me?
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Contrasting Obanai, who wrestled with Mitsuri to watch Oppenheimer instead of Barbie (2023), Sanemi punches people out of the line to the cinemas so he can get a ticket for Barbie. Shinobu also calls out his Barbie bracelet. It turns out he's a complete Barbie fanatic, and has been ever since he bought his first doll, a Surf City Ken, which he brought with him to the movie. He also shows an interest in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, declaring Rainbow Dash best pony.
  • Sapient Eat Sapient: One of the files in Power's "thing I want to eat" folder is a photo of Kobeni. When Kobeni is (forced) to take care of things while Aki was away, she overhears Power talking in her sleep only to become more of a nervous wreck when she learns that Power wanted to eat her.
  • Sensory Abuse: After getting a voice actress, Power is capable of screaming so loudly her mic can't catch it properly.
  • Share Phrase: "I'M GONNA BITE YOUR HEAD OFF" is one of these for Beam and Power.
  • She Is the King: Power consistently refers to herself as "King Power" when asserting herself in a position of authority. Flower Power, her voice actress, was the origin of this for Power as her utterance of the title was entirely during an ad-libbing and she refers to herself as "King Power" in a video on her channel explaining why she should be president.
  • Shipper on Deck: Himeno starts to ship Kobeni and Power, much to Kobeni's chagrin, when Denji lets it slip that Power confessed to having a crush on Kobeni to him.
  • Ship-to-Ship Combat: Discussed in "himeno meets the angel devil with aki" as a reason for Aki's lack of commentary on whether he prefers Angel or Himeno.
  • Smart Ball: In "himeno apologises to denji", Power gives Himeno a surprisingly eloquent explanation on why her alcoholism isn't an excuse for attempting to sleep with Denji and how Denji is the one who decides when and if she'll be forgiven. She goes back to ranting about gay people seconds later, though.
  • Something Only They Would Say: Nayuta’s favorite song is the "Whopper Whopper Whopper" Burger King jingle, a song Makima often sings, hinting at her being Makima's reincarnation. Possibly inverted with The Smiths, as she dislikes Denji and Asa singing one of their songs even though Denji says Makima listened to them.
  • Something We Forgot: Denji forgets his date with Makima while watching Rocky, and he decides it must have not been important before moving on to binge the whole series.
  • Spanner in the Works: A spanner invoked by the one it screwed over; after arranging a date with Denji, Makima randomly drops Beam before him, who then proceeds to watch Rocky with Denji, making him forget the date in favor of watching the rest of the series with Beam and Aki.
  • Speaks Fluent Animal: Osaka can understand seals. It's apparently the one thing she didn't forget while researching seals after unexpectedly adopting one.
  • Strange Minds Think Alike: Beam, like Power, tells Aki "Quiet, topknot" after Denji tells him to be quiet.
  • Stunned Silence: Nayuta goes from cackling like a demonic gremlin at Kobeni wailing her lungs out to whirling around and staring at Fami in absolute pure chibified dumbstruck disbelief when Fami starts giving Kobeni her order from the menu and it just. Keeps. Going.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: When Power asks Kobeni if she would be interested in her in a hypothetical situation in which she was gay, Kobeni, who had lost her job at Burger King thanks to her and has had to deal with Power constantly screaming at her, calling her names, and threatening to kill her, doesn't reciprocate her feelings in the slightest.
  • Take That!: The "gojo and geto" episodes deliver fierce ones to Burger King's chicken fries, as it's considered eating one could kill someone (as seen with Frank the Goat), and Haibara, who's a fan of chicken fries, considers that Sukuna's finger looks delicious to eat when Geto offers up one as a "new beef jerky brand".
  • Team Chef: Kobeni; she's shown working at Burger King (albeit hating it) with Power, successfully completing Makima's order bar the one burger she delegated to Power. She also states that she has to cook for her four younger sisters back at home.
  • Tempting Fate: After Power gives a surprisingly intelligent speech to Himeno on her mistakes and earning the right to be forgiven, Denji says she might be getting more understanding. Cue Power immediately shouting that she hates gay people.
  • The Talk: Averted for Denji, as his parents were never around to give him this, meaning he has no idea how babies are made. Aki tries to give it to him, but Power shows up and tells him that a big bird drops babies off at your house, completely disregarding sex as being connected to childbirth. When Denji asks Aki if he made up that babies are produced via sex, Aki just tells him to go ask Kishibe... who tells Denji and Power that babies come from the big bird out in the sky.
  • Third Wheel: One Demon Slayer skit involves Rengoku being invited to join Tengen on a date with the latter's three wives. The wives aren't happy with this, especially since Tengen had already been spending more time with Rengoku than them, and it only gets worse when it turns out that Rengoku invited a bunch of other characters to join them as well.
  • Transparent Closet: Power, if you shut up for two seconds about gay people, you probably wouldn't admit to being a lesbian as often. Aki and Angel both state that it was obvious that Yoshida is gay as well when he questions how Denji knew.
  • Unexplained Recovery: Power and Kobeni get revived after Makima kills them for getting her order wrong.
  • Verbal Backspace: When Power messes up, she shouts "TYPO!," usually whenever she lets her attraction to girls slip.
  • Waxing Lyrical: In "osaka adopts a seal", to try and apologize to the runaway seal and bring it back to her, Osaka starts sing-quoting "Gary's Song" and later "Bittersweet Poetry". It doesn't work, unfortunately.
  • Who Writes This Crap?!: Denji frequently invokes this trope via Breaking the Fourth Wall:
    • Whereas Aki and Kishibe are more exasperated at the situation they've found themselves in, Denji is most exasperated with how much (he comments that) the script for the skit sucks.
    • After Power mistakenly calls the PC the "PP", Denji comments that the scripts are getting worse and worse with each video.
    • Once Beam admits he just wanted to see a movie, Denji's voice actor devolves into apologizing in baby speak before questioning why the hell he says this shit. He then says he does it for the money.
  • Wisdom from the Gutter: "himeno apologises to denji" features Power giving Himeno a surprisingly mature speech about forgiveness... and then immediately returning to shouting about how much she hates gay people.
