Tropers: Rain Normally
Just an awkward, cheerful 20-year-old fabric store sales clerk in the Toronto area. Hobbies and interests include reading, writing alternate-universe fanfiction, acting and theatre, modern medicine, power tools, cosplaying, robots, cosplaying as robots, cosplaying in robots, cosplaying next to robots, and German.

This troper is an example of the following tropes:
  • Adorkable - According to peers.
  • Adult Child
  • Berserker Tears - This troper's typical reaction when absolutely furious, not that that happens often at all (maybe every couple of years).
  • Beware the Nice Ones - This troper usually speaks quietly, is typically very easygoing and upbeat, and honestly can't remember the last time he yelled at someone. When this troper does get angry, though, it's kind of bad.
  • Big Eater - This (fairly thin) troper's appetite actually has something of a memetic status where he works.
  • Bi the Way
  • Cannot Tell a Joke - This troper is depressingly bad at telling any kind of "funny story".
  • Catch Phrase - "You are a prince among men." "Mein Gott!"
  • Compressed Hair - For years, this troper had thick, wavy, fairly long hair, but routinely managed to hide it underneath short wigs when cosplaying, and had people then ask whether it was a wig.
  • Cosplay Otaku Boy
  • Cute Shotaro Boy - Apparently this troper pulls this off very well?... as well as having a personality that's not too far off from the trope description.
  • Does Not Understand Sarcasm - To a tragic degree, this troper often ends up having to outright ask if someone is being sarcastic.
  • Gratuitous German - When swearing, of course.
  • Heavy Sleeper - This troper doesn't fall asleep; he dies for eight hours and resurrects in the morning.
  • Important Haircut - Sort of. This troper basically felt like he was in a rut, and that his long hair got to symbolize it in a way. Now it's just above his shoulders and he feels much better.
  • It Is Pronounced Tro-PAY - This troper has an uncommon Irish surname with a somewhat unusual pronunciation. No one has EVER said it correctly the first time.
  • Keigo - With people he doesn't know, this troper is typically ridiculously polite and formal, especially in writing, and it's not unusual for him to read an email or private message three or four times over to make absolutely sure that nothing comes across as rude, presumptuous, too familiar, etc. etc....
  • Knife Nut - Well, it'd be this troper's Weapon of Choice, seeing as this (non-Ax-Crazy, promise!) troper would definitely be a Combat Medic.
  • Kuudere - At times.
  • Large Ham - This troper has a tendency to type in ALL CAPS and STRIKE MANLY POSES when excited.
  • Larynx Dissonance - This troper tries to sound like the character when cosplaying, regardless of that character's biological sex. The results range from "interesting" to "hilarious".
  • Laughing Mad - The other thing this troper does when furious, in addition to the aforementioned Berserker Tears.
  • Mad Scientist - This troper has worked with some questionable-to-outright-dangerous substances and tools when working on costumes. And he loves it.
  • Moe - This troper has a reputation for this among his friends... for... whatever reason.
  • Mr. Imagination
  • The Pollyanna - This troper realized the other day that he is, in many ways, basically a real-life Kaylee.
  • Pronoun Trouble - "He" and other "masculine" pronouns can technically be considered gender-neutral in some instances, so that's usually what this troper uses, but it gets awkward...
  • Ridiculous Procrastinator
  • Spell My Name with an "S" - This troper is constantly having people misspell, mispronounce, or both misspell and mispronounce both first and last names.
  • Sweet Tooth
  • Will Not Tell a Lie
  • Wrench Wench
  • Younger than They Look - Ever since this troper went through puberty, this troper has apparently looked a good four-or-so years older than this troper's actual age.
