Sandbox / The 77th Precinct Division Six

Go To

Captain Alex meant to found a group to combat and sabotage the crime syndicates across the Pantheon, and eventually become strong enough to demolish all gangs within the Pantheon, a goal which earned widespread approval within the GUAG.

However, interest in it grew to the point where it was decided that a new division be founded. Then, the ante was upped when the higher-ups at the 77th Precinct decided to spin the GUAG division off into a full-on police division, in charge of investigating and analyzing any and all forms of misconduct by all the Grand United Alliances regardless of alignment. This is the newest division of the Pantheon's police department so farnote

This division is officially known as the 'Alliance Affairs' Division, but officers here tend to refer to it colloquially as (insert informal name here).

The Commissioners

These are the Officers (and Lawyers) that actually hand down the orders and are tasked with keeping the Division in line (supposedly).

Commander Samuel Vimes, The Fettered God (Sam, Old Stoneface, His Grace.)

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A copper badge in the shape of a shield with the number 177 on it.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Lawful Good. (While noteworthy for maintaining "a certain anti-authoritarianism" he is often seen as defining lawful good)
  • Reason for Joining: First, Carcer is among the GUAE, and he will be brought to justice for his crimes. Second, the GUAE tramples on law and order, and he's going to spread around his anger about that with a big shovel.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: He's loyal to enforcing the law and justice, not her (as he has a bit of contempt for serving any deity, even though he is one). However, he does realize the GUAE are threatening law and order, and is helping Cosmos because as a copper, it's what he supposed to do.
    • His anti-authroitarianism made him incompatible with the GUAL, while his quest is as much against Chaos as against Evil.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. Sam has fought off beings of pure evil successfully with no other power than his own will, which concerns Melkor greatly.

James Worthington Gordon, God of Lawful Allegiance to Superheroes (Commissioner Gordon, Jim, Batman)

  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The GCPD badge
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason For Joining: He's an honest cop who knows that he needs all the help he can get to keep the crooked cops at bay.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Several members of the GUAG spoke for him at his Ascension Trial. That and he's not enough of a Rules Enforcer for the GUAL.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Low-Medium.

Godot, God of Coffee (Diego Armando)

  • Lesser God
  • Symbols: A mug of black, bitter coffee, and his creepy visor
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  • Reason for Joining: He serves the side of justice. That's one of his rules.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: She approves of the sense of justice he has which he temporarily lost after his poisoned-induced coma, and the fact she likes coffee really keeps his loyalty to her pretty high. He is willing to atone for his misguided actions at the Hazakurian Temple in early 2019, which were a step further than this Division should go.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Low in and of himself; he's more useful to the GUAG as Legal Council and the Friend in the Pantheon Prosecution Service.

Anti-Mafia

  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. Holmes's deductive skills are second to none, and can potentially foil many schemes.
