Sand Box / GUAG Robot War Division Support Command

Go To

The GUAG Robot War Division isn't just pilots. With the multitudes of people, machines, technology, universes and relations all colliding together there needs to be those who can run the whole operation like a well-oiled machine, be that training pilots, fixing and maintaining the mecha, developing and modifying weapons, commanding affiliated non-mecha forces, planning for battle or representing the many composite forces that make up the Division. Here's a small fraction of these unsung heroes.

Leadership

Heads of state of their respective worlds who are leading figures in the Robot War Division, rarely taking part in direct combat. Some have membership in the GUAG Command division.

    Lacus Clyne
Lacus Clyne, Goddess of Silk Hiding Steel (The Songstress, Pink Princess, The White Queen, Darth Lacus)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/da71h1bx4aaapib_removebg_preview.png
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: The Pink Haro
  • Alignment: Neutral Good leaning towards Lawful Good, can be Chaotic Good if she needs to
  • Rank: Civilian
  • Subordinates: Siegel Clyne (her father), Colonel Andrew Waltfeld (Number Two and captain of the Eternal), Lieutenant Martin DaCosta, Lieutenant Hilda Harken, Lieutenants Junior Grade Mars Simeon and Herbert Von Reinhard
  • Flagship: FFMH-Y101 Eternal
  • Reason for Joining: Doesn't like that both Muruta Azrael, Rau Le Creuset, Patrick Zala (as Rau's herald), Lord Djibril and Gilbert Durandal, all promoters of war, racism and complete genocide have re-materialized in the Pantheon. As Chairwoman of the PLANT Supreme Council and de facto representative of Spacenoids from the Cosmic Era, she intends to cleanse the tarnished legacy of the PLANTs by fighting a clean war. For the sake of Kira and her father, she will prevent what happened to the Cosmic Era from happening to the Pantheon.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. Both are maidenly figures who desire peace but aren't naive enough to completely avoid violence altogether. Both appreciate the other's wish to heal the Pantheon from its evil and keep it at a minimum (since evil is necessary and will always exist as a counterforce to good). They've had many precious conversations and they agree on many things, like how cute her singing is.
  • Threat Level: High. She managed to prevent two separate assassinations by talking the assassin down, one of whom was her then betrothed. Don't let the fact that she's an idol singer fool you, she's the Goddess of Silk Hiding Steel! Some Star Wars deities even call her 'Mon Mothma's second coming', a title she matches perfectly. She is a highly dangerous foe to those who desire chaos and war due to her limitless charisma. The only reason Muruta Azrael tolerates his rival Patrick Zala as Gihren Zabi's high priest is because if there's one thing he hates more than Coordinators, it's the idea of pacifism. Yes, Azrael is willing to even work with enemy Coordinators if it means stomping out pacifists like her.
  • Position: Chairwoman of the PLANT Supreme Council and Commander-in-Chief of ZAFT Forces, Grand United Alliance of Good

    Relena Darlian
Relena Darlian, Regent of Actual Pacifism and Patron Saint of Reassignment Backfires (Crown Princess Relena Peacecraft, [Formerly] Queen of the Earth Sphere, the "Little Prince")
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/315c9a8703f2d9963f8553c3c1cd893c.jpg
  • Demigoddess. (Physically speaking, she ranks as a Quasideity; but her scope of influence rivals that of a Lesser Deity)
  • Symbol: A small teddy bear partly covered in snow, placed beside a broken wall. Alternatively, the coat-of-arms of the Sanc Kingdom.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (formerly Lawful Good)
  • Rank: Civilian
  • Subordinates: Marina Ismail (high priest), Dianna Soreil, Kihel Heim, Meer Campbell, Kudelia Aina Bernstein
  • Flagship: Peacemillion
  • Reason for Joining: After certain events had left the Pantheon in shambles, Relena approached by then Vice Admiral Bright Noa with a proposal to establish a Diplomatic Corps to facilitate the peace talks in unstable regions in the Pantheon. Cosmos, after thoroughly analyzing her credentials, approved of her appointment. After the heat subsided, she became chief diplomat of the Robot War Division.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Cosmos personally vetted her ascension and entry into the Pantheon and she's grateful for the opportunity. Very High.
  • Threat Level: Moderate to High. Her political actions and brilliant oratory skills make her one badass politician. And she's perfectly capable of defending herself; she's had firearms training. So are her fellow diplomats (all princesses for some reason); they're all Badass Pacifists. It helps that Zechs Merquise aka Millardo Peacecraft (her brother) is a Wild Card pilot in the GUAE Mecha Cohort who helps keep the peace between both branches (Char's faction anyway).
  • Position: President of the Mars Federation and Commander-in-Chief of Sanc Kingdom Forces, Grand United Alliance of Good

Research and development

    Leeron
Leeron Littner, God of Humorous Homosexuals (Ron)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/b47441d1_4035_44f7_9468_49a85a9112c6.png
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: A pink wrench
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Rank: Major (O-4)
  • Colleagues: Sergeant Tetsukan Littner (chief aide)
  • Reason for Joining: He joined as chief science officer of Team Dai-Gurren and their liaison to the GUAG Engineering Division. The Division appreciates his Crazy-Prepared tendencies and wanted to use those to help defend against the many ways the GUAE could attack them. He also maintains the Division's relationship with the GUAG Rider Corps via fellow Camp Gay deity Oren Pierre Alfonzo (Kamen Rider Bravo).
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. While he can't say for certain, there's something in Cosmos that reminds him of someone he knows - he just can't put his finger on it.
  • Threat Level: Moderate to High. There are few scientists and engineers that rival him. Except maybe Graham's friend Billy Katagiri, but both can't be sure. What is sure though is that Leeron is among the most intelligent beings in his universe period. He can manipulate any technology from basic steam-age duds to cosmic-level terrors to work for him in any way he wants on a level few others can boast. This makes him a threat to be taken out not since he's started work on a legendary new Mass Driver technology to deploy mobile suit carriers into deep space without using a hyperdrive or slipstream drive.
  • Position: Chief Science Officer, Team Dai-Gurren

    Tabane Shinonono
Tabane Shinonono, Goddess of the Overly Cutesy (Tabane-Sama the Genius, The most wanted person in the world)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/15dbbb6fcee3b87f861865246893.jpg
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her bunny-eared headband
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
  • Rank: Captain (O-3)
  • Reason for Joining: Having hacked into the GUAG's databases for years, Anaheim finally invited her to work for them on contract as long as she stopped fooling around. Thanks to irritating the establishment, Tabane now has dedicated staff, a large workshop and plenty of toys to create new IS with. Her recruitment saw a massive sigh of relief from those who feared she would join Lucifer and the Grand United Alliance of Chaos. She works from one of Anaheim's secondary facilities in her own sub-house.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Low to none. Aside from Ichika, Chifuyu, her sister Houki and Chloe Chronicle, Tabane pays no attention to anyone else and even shows disturbing condescension towards the worst of them. She's a Nominal Hero obsessed with creating IS for the students of the RWD Academy (and some other types of mecha on the side) and doesn't care about anyone or anything else. The fact that four of her world's heroes are related to her is a happy coincidence.
  • Threat Level: High. Quirky and cute as she may be, Tabane has no loyalty to anyone but herself and will work for the side that suits her best - much like Shu Shirakawa does. Her expertise and skill with creating IS makes her unparalleled in that field. Plus, when you get past her Genki Girl exterior, Tabane is actually quite psycho to the point that her direct superiors are scared of her at times, even more than when she tries to glomp them.
  • Position: Chief Engineer of the IS (Infinite Stratos) Program

Trainers and instructors

    Chifuyu Orimura
Chifuyu Orimura, Goddess of Badass Teachers (Brunhilde I)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zjhz4qhk77k41.jpg
  • Lesser Goddess (may bump up to Greater Goddess if she gets her IS back)
  • Symbol: Her Infinite Stratos, White Knight
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, leaning towards Chaotic Good
  • Rank: Colonel (O-6)
  • Subordinates: Major Maya Yamada (her Number Two and wingmate)
  • Reason for Joining: One of the few late additions to the Division, Orimura-sensei joined to watch over her little brother and his 'group of girlfriends'. In the early days of the Division she was just the head IS instructor at the rank of Major before all training operations were moved to a separate academy.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Medium to High. A cold but sensitive pragmatist, she has a strong sense of loyalty to the IS Academy and a strong sense of discipline. However, she also has a soft spot where her class is concerned and remains loyal so long as Cosmos protects them, which she has promised to do. She may be cynical, but she knows a true promise where she sees it. In return, Cosmos appointed her the School guardian overseeing the Division's academy which trains trainee pilots.
  • Threat Level: High. She is among the best pilots in her universe and the first, which makes her a force to be reckoned with. Entire armies were wiped out by her signature mecha, the White Knight in a single attack. You have to be a very good pilot for Char Aznable to focus on you instead of Amuro for even a second. The Red Comet has declared her a Worthy Opponent and from him, that's a Gospel's utterance. Even more once you find out she's an artificial human created to be the perfect human.
  • Main Unit: Kurazakura (currently under repair)
  • Position: Commandant, RWD Instructional Academy

    Sänger Zonvolt
Sänger Zonvolt, The God that Cleaves/Smites Evil! (Zengar Zombolt, Sanger Sombold, The Sword that Cleaves/Smites Evil, The Sword that Cleaves/Smites Gods)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sanger_0.png
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: His Colossal Blade
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Rank: Lieutenant Colonel (O-5)
  • Reason for Joining: Because EVIL MUST BE CLEAVED/SMOTE! With the slashes! After sustaining serious injuries in battle, Zonvolt opted to take a brief sabbatical from full combat duty. He still battles when necessary (and often), but has since been appointed Deputy Commandant of the RWD Academy that earned him a promotion to Lieutenant Colonel. Rank and honour, particularly the latter, are what he stands for. He's confident that the ATX Team can stand without him. After all, he taught them well.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. He's helping Elzam, he gets to smite/cleave evil, and Cosmos asked him to do for all that is good what he did for Sophia Nate and Earth. So yeah, he's quite loyal. Moreover, he immediately sensed that while Cosmos looked weak and naive on the outside, she wasn't afraid to do things the hard way if their enemies chose to do the same.
  • Threat Level: High. Several evil deities have been cleaved by his own hand, some technically stronger than he is. He may have moved to rear-line duties teaching new pilots, but he's a very capable man even without a mecha or weapon on hand and smites just as much as foot as he does in the cockpit. Zankantou, his mecha's sword can slice an enemy simply with wind summoned by the blade. Retired Badass he may somewhat be, but downgraded badass he is not.
  • Main Unit: DGG-XAM01 Dygenguar
  • Position: Deputy Commandant, RWD Instructional Academy

    Tatsuya Yuuki/Meijin Kawaguchi III
Tatsuya Yuuki, God of Those who Became Legendary in the Sequel (Meijin Kawaguchi III, The Crimson Comet, Yuuki-sempai, The REAL Gundam Jesus)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/image_58.png
Tatsuya, prior to the start of Build Fighters (Left); Meijin, during the events of Build Fighters Try (Right)
  • Demigod
  • Symbol: The stylized letters "SK" emblazoned on the Amazing Red Warrior's left shoulder. Alternatively, his Cool Shades.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good, by default; Chaotic Good in Meijin Mode.
  • Rank: Major (O-4)
  • Colleagues: Lady Kawaguchi (major and sub-instructor), Captain Allan Adams (technical attache), Nils Yajima (Yajima Trading CEO)
  • Reason for Joining: Hates that the GUAE wants to destroy all (good) mecha and by extension Gunpla. He's not having that because GUNPLA IS FREEDOM!
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Very High. She promised him complete autonomy over his program and that the students under his charge will not be used in any combat capacity. Admiral Bright and General Lelouch are of the same mind on this matter for once. Not to mention he gave him the chance to get up close and personal with his favourite characters and that is pure gold!
  • Threat Level: High. He is not by any means a professional mecha pilot but his creations can rival even the best of Ace Customs created by Anaheim Electronics. They even come to him for consultation at times! The one time he ever used a life-size Amazing Red Warrior in physical battle (during a battle with the Anti-Spiral) he managed 39 MS kills alone. Add to that his zeal in building Gunpla and championing the cause of Gunpla Battle and that makes him one of the Division's most fervent supporters. He earned the title of Meijin through his love of the brand and a desire to prove it's not just a tool of war, and that's worth a lot of praise.
  • Main Unit: PF-78-3A Gundam Amazing Red Warrior
  • Position: Head Instructor of the Plavsky Battler Program

Training pilots

Pilots in training who have yet to earn a proper spot in the Division, though some have provisional spots in open combat zones when the need calls for it. Year III and IV officer cadets are entitled to the rank of Warrant Officer. For some reason, the ascended trainees here are 70% likely to intentionally or unintentionally formed unwanted Battle Harems which many have made fun of.... at heavy cost. There's a social and formal pecking ordercadet ranks... as all schools have.

    Yoruka Kirihime
Yoruka Kirihime, Divine Protector of Betrayed Assassins (Empire's Assassin Blade)
  • Intermediate Goddess

    Cecilia Alcott
Cecilia Alcott, Goddess of Dimwitted Aristocrats
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/is2___cecilia_alcott_removebg_preview.png
  • Lesser Goddess, Intermediate with IS
  • Symbol: Her blue left earring (Blue Tears' standby mode)
  • Alignment: Neutral Good, formerly Lawful Neutral
  • Rank: Cadet Lieutenant
  • Reason for Joining: Why else? To get close to Ichika. For personal reasons, she wants to stay with the strongest side and hone her skills. To stay on top of her game she has to join the RWD and even if she didn't, Orimura-sensei would have made her anyway.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. She's just as loyal to her as to Ichika and (to an extent) the rest of her harem and as long as she doesn't get in the way of her quest for love and strength, she'll remain loyal. As a patriotic citizen of the United Kingdom, loyalty is her forte.
  • Threat Level: Moderate to High. In spite of her faults, she matches Laura as the Academy's best IS pilot in terms of combat ability (not counting IS special abilities or other skills). Her proficiency with an IS is top-notch and as a student in the Academy Cecilia has proven proficient in a great many things, including playing the violin, tennis and eventually cooking. Until Ichika came along, the fact that she was the top pick for class representative should tell you everything. Her only problem is Pride, which she's trying hard to keep under control. Acts as the deadly sniper for Ichika and his team, taking down threats from afar.
  • Main Unit: Blue Tears
  • Position: Long-Range Infinite Stratos Combat Pilot

    Celestia Ralgris
Celestia Ralgris, Goddess of Unintended Large-Scale Consequences and Guilt (Celistia Ralgris, Celes, Knight Squadron Leader)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/celestia_1.png
  • Lesser Goddess (Greater Goddess using Lindworm)
  • Symbol: Her Sword Device
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Rank: Warrant Officer
  • Reason for Joining: To protect Lux, who kindly recommended her ascension
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. She respects her the same way she respects her fallen master.
  • Threat Level: High. She isn't the Drag-Knight Academy's top fighter for nothing.
  • Main Unit: Lindworm
  • Position: Close-Range Lindworm Pilot

    Charlotte Dunois
Charles/Charlotte Dunois, Goddess of French Beauties (Charl)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/charlotte_0.png
  • Lesser Goddess (becomes Intermediate Goddess when using her Infinite Stratos; Greater Goddess while using her IS with Senketsu)
  • Symbol: An orange Diamond with wings which serves as her necklace (Rafale Revive Custom II's standby mode)
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Rank: Cadet Lieutenant
  • Reason for Joining: The GUAG promised her the same protections that the IS Academy provided to protect her from her abusive father, and being the kind soul that she is, Charlotte wants to do what is right. And of course, to be with her beloved Ichika. Charlotte matches Houki discipline-wise in not constantly hitting on Ichika. To her credit, her priority is keeping Ichika happy rather than making life romantically difficult for him. She can be tomboyish at times owing to being a Bifauxnen, usually when undercover.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. Her dedication to good and helping the unfortunate with what she has is somewhat inspired by Cosmos. She wants the best for everybody and to defeat Phantom Task, which Cosmos and the GUAG will help her accomplish.
  • Threat Level: Moderate to High. As an insider of a company that manufactures IS, Charlotte has cutting-edge knowledge of its inner workings (only 2nd Gen and below), second only to Kanzashi and Tabane. Even with the older Rafale-Revive Custom II, she can fight certain newer models to a standstill. Her current IS, the Rein Carnation is a fusion of her previous Rafale-Revive and one of her company's newer IS, Cosmos (what a coincidence!) and has a unending Hammerspace of hidden guns to use against enemies. In Charlotte's case, Beware the Nice Ones.
  • Main Unit: Rein Carnation
  • Position: Mid-Range Infinite Stratos Combat Pilot

    Houki Shinonono and Lingyin Huang
Houki Shinonono and Lingyin Huang, Dual Goddesses of Childhood Friends Who Desire Much More (Linyin: Rin)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/houki.png
Houki
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rin_91.png
Rin
  • Lesser Goddesses (Intermediate bordering on Greater Goddesses while using their IS)
  • Symbols:
    • For Houki: A twin-bell ribbon bracelet (Akatsubaki's standby mode) with two crossed IS-sized katana on the background.
    • For Rin: A pink-and-maroon solid bracelet (ShenLong's standby mode) with its Souten Gangetsu blades crossed behind it.
  • Alignment: Lawful Neutral/Lawful Good (Houki) Chaotic Neutral/Chaotic Good (Rin)
  • Rank: Cadet Captain (Houki), Cadet Lieutenant (Rin)
  • Reason for Joining: Why, to get close to Ichika of course. A desire to maintain peace and continue their IS education is just a side dish compared to their main prey.
    • Houki is the cooler and more focused Tsundere, focused on doing her duty with commitment and discipline. As a result she's the most well-regarded student in Ichika's harem and supposedly the most well-behaved. Nevertheless, she is prone to "shoot first, ask questions later" against orders due to violent outbursts, so she's given regular counselling to help her with her issues.
    • Lingyin (nicknamed Rin) is the more Hot-Blooded and immature of the two, joining the class more out of impulsiveness and selfishness. She is sensitive and understanding when necessary, but a slightly uncontrolled competitive streak often gets her in trouble since she actively dives into combat without thinking, forcing the other IS cadets to help her out.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High, bordering on Very High for Houki. Cosmos gave her a reason to move out of her infernal sister Tabane's crosshairs and closer to her true family (albeit one that's a jealous harem). Rin is more of the normal breed: so long as no one lays a hand on her Ichika, she's loyal as per her Chinese heritage.
  • Threat Level: High for both, veering on Moderate for Rin sometimes. For Houki, she's got the ear of the GUAG's chief IS specialist Tabane - her sister, thus getting the best tech and supplies within minutes of requesting them. Her kendo skills also make her among the most physically capable of the IS cadets. The fact that her Akatsubaki is the only true 4th-gen IS in existence helps. As for Rin, she's a bit of a survivalist, being prepared for emergencies and skilled at cooking for the class in sticky situations like the time they crashed during a team exercise in the House of Plants. As pilot of the ShenLong, she's shown promise in tag-team fights with Altron pilot Chang Wufei.
  • Main Unit(s): Akatsubaki (Houki), ShenLong (Lingyin)
  • Position: Close-Range Infinite Stratos Combat Pilot (both)

    Ichika Orimura
Ichika Orimura, Herald of House Husbands and Unaware Attraction (Ikkun, Orimuu~, Neutron Star Ichika)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ichika_6.png
  • Lesser God (Intermediate God if deploying his IS unit Byakushiki, borderline Greater God if the said unit went to Second Shift)
  • Symbol: His white bracer (Byakushiki’s standby mode), with the silhouette of a man wearing an apron behind it.
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (though many seem him as merely a “nice” shade of Stupid Neutral)
  • Rank: Cadet Captain
  • Reason for Joining: Funny story really. Issei Hyodo invited him to join the Chick Magnet Quartet (then its own special unit) but seeing as Ichika isn't really a harem-seeking Handsome Lech, he respectfully declined saying he had to complete his studies with his friends. Issei then pointed him to the Robot War Division, where coincidentally his sister had just become head IS instructor.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. He and his sister are two of many deities Cosmos helped ascend personally. For giving him a place to combat Phantom Task and Chifuyu's Evil Twin, he's certainly going to give his all to fight for the powers of good, especially as the sole male person able to pilot an IS.
  • Threat Level: Moderate to High. It can fluctuate on a regular basis depending on his performance at any given time, but Character Development and being a experiment aimed at creating the perfect human. His piloting skills can use some work, but his biological abilities like rapid healing grant him an edge at times, as do his analytical skills. His IS, the Byakushiki is one of the most powerful in existence since it stores the core of the first IS ever created, the Shirokishi previously piloted by Chifuyu. Oddly enough, he can masquerade as a womanizer when undercover pretty darn well, at the cost of his always angry Unwanted Harem.
  • Main Unit: Byakushiki
  • Role: Mid-Range Infinite Stratos Combat Unit

    Krulcifer Einfolk
Krulcifer Einfolk, Divine Representative of Feminine Blueness
  • Lesser Goddess

    Laura Bodewig
Laura Bodewig, Goddess of Wacky Marriage Proposals
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bodewig.png
  • Lesser Goddess (becomes Intermediate, when using the Schwarzer Regen; full-blown Greater Goddess while Fused with both her IS and Junketsu)
  • Symbol: Her black-and-red leg band (Schwarzer Regen's standby mode.) Alternatively, the Schwarzer Hase (Black Hares) emblem.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (was previously bordering on Chaotic Evil before defrosting)
  • Rank: Cadet Captain
  • Reason for Joining: Laura wants to balance her military education and shadowy past with more of the new friends she's gained in the IS Academy, and was encouraged by her "War Buddy" Charlotte. As a result, she's both the least interactive and most interactive of Ichika's class to creepy degrees at times. Also, to chase Ichika, her "wife". Her team, the Schwarzer Hase (the German military organization she comes from) serves as a GUAG auxiliary.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Medium. She's not as morally bound to the cause of good and defeating the GUAE as her other friends and is more content with walking the path of war than actually reaching the goal of defeating Melkor. Cosmos tolerates her manner of war and Laura is grateful for that.
  • Threat Level: High bordering on Very High. Poor social skills aside, Laura is the only IS pilot to have a military background, born a test-tube baby for a Super-Soldier project. She's not as well-attuned to IS naturally, and thus has the Odin's Eye in her left eye socket - a hyper-sensor package that heightens brain processing which allows for quick reaction in combat. Her IS is a Master of All which makes her among the most well-balanced fighter of Ichika's class, only matched by Cecilia in pure combat ability.
  • Main Unit: Schwarzer Regen
  • Position: Mid-Range Infinite Stratos Combat Pilot

    Liseharte Atismata
Lisesharte Atismata, Goddess of Intimate Marks (Lisha, Scarlet War Princess)
  • Lesser Goddess

    Lux Arcadia
Lux Arcadia, God of Indentured Servitude (Black Hero, Chore Prince, Prince Handyman, Weakest Undefeated, Luno)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lux_arcadia.jpg
His crossdressed appearance as "Luno"
  • Lesser God (Greater God using Bahamut)
  • Symbol: His Sword Devices
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Rank: Trainee
  • Reason for Joining: Lux has a strong moral code and that alone makes him oppose the GUAE on principle. Believing in dignity and fairness for everyone, their threat of tyrannical rule over all lifeforms makes Lux's decision to join the Robot War Division come as no surprise. He also serves as a knight-in-trainin
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. While his loyalty is first and foremost to Lisesharte Atismata (both professionally and romantically), Lux respects Cosmos' ideals and will fight for her sake as well as for his aide, his fiance and his servant.
  • Threat Level: Moderate in his Wyvern, since it's a training unit with only minor modifications. High in his main ride, the Bahamut, which can decimate entire robot armies with its sheer speed and flight power. However, the high power of his Drag-Ride (including the Over Limit) will inevitably wear him down, limiting its mission-use time.
  • Main Unit: Wyvern (training and recon), Bahamut (open combat)
  • Position: Trainee, Close-Range Drag-Ride

Sei is on the left, Reiji is on the right
  • Lesser Gods
  • Symbol: Their Build Strike Gundam
  • Alignment: Neutral Good, with Reiji being closer to Chaotic Good
  • Rank: Cadet Staff Sergeant (both)
  • Reason for Joining: To preserve the freedom of Gunpla and prevent the abuse of Arista and Plavsky Particles. Reiji has a much more concrete reason to do since he's the Crown Prince, later King of Arian and thus it's his responsibility to protect his planet's most valuable resource from falling into the wrong hands, especially those of Ryoma Sengoku's high priest and his wife's former handler Nine Barthes.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High, bordering on Very High for Sei. If there's one thing both hate, it's the use of Gunpla for evil. They might be able to tolerate war in the fictional worlds of Gundam (at least until they ascended and met the characters who actually experienced it) but they are not allowing Melkor and the GUAE Mecha Cohort to spread their reign of terror to their unprepared world. Cosmos cares about protecting civilians from the horrors of Gihren's atrocities and they're totally on board with that.
  • Threat Level: Moderate. Remember that those in the Plavsky Battler Program (sans Meijin Kawaguchi III, program leader) don't actually possess real mobile suits, but judging by their battle skill and results, they're very powerful. The RG and Star System of the Build Strike can push the suit's limits so far that its performance rivals that of the real Kira Yamato and the Strike Freedom Gundam.
  • Main Unit: GAT-X105B/GC Build Strike Galaxy Cosmos (both), RX-178B Build Gundam Mk-II (Sei's personal unit), GPB-X80 Beginning Gundam Reiji Custom (Reiji's personal unit)
  • Position: Officer Cadet, Mid-Range Pilots

    Team TRY Fighters

  • Lesser Deities as a team; Demideities individually
  • Symbol: Their Gunpla; any version of the Winning Gundam (Fumina), Burning Gundam (Sekai) and Lightning Gundam (Yuuma)
  • Alignment:
  • Rank: Cadet Corporal (Fumina), Cadet Private (Sekai, Yuuma)
  • Mentor: Knight Gundam (Fumina), Domon Kasshu (Sekai), Neil Dylandy (Yuuma)
  • Reason for Joining: Is among the cadets recruited to the Plavsky Battler Program and one of their best long-range specialists. He threw himself into the course with relish, hoping to become a skilled mentor just like the Meijin. His mentor is Neil Dylandy, pilot of the Dynames.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Medium to High. She and the other commanders of the Division support him coming out of his fear of wrecking his creations even in Gunpla Battle. He will not back down from the challenges they give him to push his Gunpla beyond its stated limits. He's stoked by the challenges they present in the Gunpla Battle system but his loyalty is pretty volatile depending on his confidence and performance at the time.
  • Threat Level: Moderate. None of them are trained pilots but they carry the zeal of
  • Main Unit: KMK-B01 Kamiki Burning Gundam (Sekai), SD-237S Star Winning Gundam (Fumina), LGZ-91St Lightning Gundam Strider (Yuuma)

  • Demigoddess
  • Symbol: The AC-01 Miss Sazabi beside a steaming piece of meatbun.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good, masquerading as True Neutral
  • Rank: Cadet Staff Sergeant
  • Mentor: Lieutenant Junior Grade Marida Cruz
  • Reason for Joining: Recruited as a cadet under the Plavsky Battler Program, a program created to turn out future pilot instructors with the Gunpla Battle system. It took a while for Aila to get on board with the program but the Meijin reassured her that the Academy is not the Flana Institute. Her independence and her daughter would be safe. With her former handler Nine Barthes as Ryoma Sengoku's high priest, her support has since become rock-solid.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. Even if she's not the most trusting of the program, Aila respects Cosmos greatly for protecting her. Cosmos, Admiral Bright, Commandant Chifuyu and others shares the views of her colleagues: students trained by the Academy Instructors Cadre should not be brainwashed, forced or abused in any way, shape or form. They care about her wellbeing more than the Flana Institute and she's grateful.
  • Threat Level: Moderate. Aila is statistically the most successful cadet of the program thus far. Simulations show that she would be a monster of a pilot who could match her assigned mentor Marida Cruz funnel for funnel. This is because she can track Plavsky Particles which gives her a level of precognition in Gunpla Battle. Possibly High if those powers are boosted by the Embody System. Her daughter is even more of a powerhouse since her Arista can aggravate Plavsky-controlled Gunpla which she can telekinetically control.

Chogokin HELLO KITTY
In Mazinger Z colors
  • Lesser Goddess, can become stronger in certain situations
  • Symbol: A pink flower bow
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Rank: Cadet Lieutenant Colonel
  • Reason for Joining: She was recommended by Kouji Kabuto of all people after the time they worked together.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Decent.
  • Threat Level: As she's not an experienced mecha pilot, Medium-Low, so she's receiving training here. At least she has maneuverability options and her Rocket Punch seems to be able to sap an opponent's will to fight.
  • Main Unit: CHOGOKIN Hello Kitty (also comes in Mazinger Z colors)
  • Position: Trainee

From left to right: Melfina, Aisha, Gene, Suzuka, Jim
  • Intermediate Deities (Jim and Melfina are Lesser, though)
  • Symbol: The Outlaw Star
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good (Gene), Neutral Good (Jim/Melfina), Chaotic Neutral (Aisha), True Neutral (Suzuka)
  • Reason for Joining: Gene needed a place for the Outlaw Star to be parked, plus having the benefits of free repairs and weapons, so it was natural for him to sign up. Jim was unamused at this. Even with the "necessity" angle aside, Gene loves to prove himself the best and battling the GUAE Mecha Cohort is great exercise.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Medium. It comes with the benefits of being in the GUAG.
  • Threat Level: Moderate to High. The Outlaw Star is a Grappler Ship, first and foremost, and attacks mostly through the use of robotic arms. By severing the arms, all offensive capabilities are rendered moot. The problem, however, comes from the fact that its weapons are either long-range (guns) or CQC (melee blades) making it a versatile opponent. Also, Gene is an ace pilot who can fly the Star even with many of its weapons rendered useless. All in all, an honest-to-goodness threat.
  • Main Unit: The Outlaw Star
  • Position: Freelance Couriers and Smugglers
