Crimson: Let this be a lesson, Moxxie. This is what happens when you cross me.

When I.M.P get a new client who has a deep connection with Moxxie, things sure do happen — namely, Moxxie's mafia boss father ordering Moxxie to marry a rich ex into the crime family.

Tropes for this episode include:

  • Abusive Parents: Crimson is probably one of the worst parents shown so far, and in this series, that's really saying something. He's viciously abusive to Moxxie, tries to force him into an Arranged Marriage with Chaz just so he can name Chaz the new heir of the family despite Moxxie already being married, and partakes in bi-erasure by claiming Moxxie is using Millie as The Beard. Worse, though, is the implication he killed Moxxie's mother just for disagreeing with how he raised Moxxie, and outright declaring he'll kill Moxxie and Millie if Moxxie ever disobeys him again. It's because of this Moxxie is so desperate for Blitzo's approval, since for all his faults, Blitzo is miles better a father figure than Crimson.
  • Actor Allusion: Richard Horvitz once again voiced father and son. Though this time, the father is much more abusive.
  • Alien Arts Are Appreciated: Blitzo is able to recognize Moxxie's "It's been 84 years" line as being from Titanic (1997) and directly name-drops Shrek, implying he has access to human entertainment.
  • All for Nothing: Neither antagonist ends up getting what they want.
    • Chaz's plan to con Crimson to get into the mafia ends up being for nothing after Blitzo exposes his debts to Crimson and Millie kills Crimson's guards in a Roaring Rampage of Rescue. As a result, Chaz is Killed Offscreen, and his teeth are hung on the wall as a trophy for Crimson's kill count.
    • Crimson went through the whole plan of getting Moxxie to marry Chaz, thinking Chaz was rich. However, Millie and Blitzo crash the wedding, kill all of his men, rescue Moxxie, and reveal that Chaz is actually deep in debt. Not only is Crimson unable to get any of Moxxie's assets, but he comes away at the end of the episode with nothing to show for it but a bunch of dead goons and Chaz's teeth on his wall, leading to Crimson swearing revenge on Moxxie.
  • All Gays are Promiscuous: Crimson seems to believe so, as he has his house "redecorated" to have dildos pop out of everywhere at the push of a button because he thinks that is what "the gays" are into, Moxxie is disgusted and says no one would want that...only for Blitzo to exclaim how hilarious it is. Chaz later expresses approval too.
  • All There in the Manual: Although Moxxie being from the Wrath Ring via his mother's side is indicated by her choice of wardrobe, this is confirmed by in a couple of tweets from Vivienne Medrano and Adam Neylan. They further elaborate that Moxxie values his mother's side of his heritage far more then his dad's. However, due to being raised and spending most of his life in Greed, he doesn't have a country vibe nor certain values typical of someone from Wrath.
  • All There in the Script: A number of Crimson's shark and half-shark demon henchmen have names as revealed in a tweet by one of the show's lead character designers. Crimson's personal bodyguard who's often seen beside him meanwhile is named Alessio as revealed by Viv in a tweet.
  • And Now You Must Marry Me: Well, "marry your ex".
  • And Show It to You: Millie takes it even further. She bites out the heart of one of Crimson's goons from his chest, and spits it out.
  • Angrish: When Millie starts the episode, she's raging, stomping her feet, and rapidly cursing under her breath. She only starts speaking normally again when she calms down.
    • She dips back into it for a moment when Moxxie reveals his history with Chaz, but makes sure to enunciate her threats.
  • Animation Bump: There's not one, but two instances of spinning camera angles in the episode. And to flex even further, both were ambient in Crimson's dinner hall which is illuminated by a fireplace, giving the scenes strong light and shadows. Not to mention another gore-tastic fighting scene with Millie smoothly tearing cannon fodder apart.
  • Arranged Marriage: Crimson forces Moxxie into one with Chaz despite Moxxie being married to Millie so Crimson can get Chaz's (non-existent) assets.
  • Aside Glance:
    • After striking out with both Moxxie and Millie, a horny Chaz gives one to the audience (complete with an Eyebrow Waggle) after noticing Biltzo's door.
    • Loona gives one when the rest of I.M.P return in the helicopter, followed by an irritated shrug.
  • Badass Boast: Before Millie begins her rampage, which also doubles as a Bring It. And for the record, she's not kidding.
Millie: You want my husband? You're gonna have to fucking kill me.
  • The Beard: Crimson accuses Millie of being a cover up Fake Relationship as he thinks Moxxie is gay, even when Moxxie explains he is bisexual.
  • Beat Still, My Heart: During her rampage, Millie rips the still beating heart of a goon, with her own teeth.
  • The Berserker: Millie goes into rage on three separate occasions this episode, not counting one murderous threat and two relatively calm kills.
  • Big Ball of Violence: Millie engages in one of these when attacking a cardboard cutout, using it to vent after seeing Chaz.
  • Bloodier and Gorier: Compared to the other fights in the series, Millie's take-down of Crimson's goons is much more brutal than the other fights, even having their skulls ripped out of their heads. Considering the gore fest that was "Truth Seekers", this is saying a lot.
  • Boomerang Bigot: The I.M.P office's whiteboard has a chart describing a bunch of horse OCs. It's said that all of them are trans, but one of them is also labelled as being transphobic.
  • Bound and Gagged: When Moxxie refuses to play along with Crimson's plans, the mobster has Alessio knock Moxxie out with a taser and then drags him to the Shotgun Wedding tied up and with his mouth duct-taped shut. And to further add insult to injury, he even has a smile drawn on the gag.
  • Break the Cutie: Poor Moxxie gets put through the wringer in this episode.
  • Call-Back:
    • Early in the episode, Millie holds the mug she broke in "Seeing Stars". It's visibly patched up.
    • While flying to the mansion, the helicopter passes over a destroyed Loo Loo Land.
    • When Moxxie is looking at photos of him and Millie on his phone, there's one where they wear their cat costumes from "C.H.E.R.U.B".
    • When Blitzo turns on the radio in Chaz's car, Fizzaroli's "Loo Loo Land" song from the "Loo Loo Land" episode plays and Blitzo takes the time to change the station, referencing the beef between Blitzo and Fizz that was established in previous episodes. One of the other channels seems to be playing Verosika's "Vacay to Bonetown".
  • Calling the Old Man Out: When Crimson tries to force him into marrying Chaz by threatening Millie, Moxxie finally stands up to his father and openly defies him. Unfortunately, Alessio sneaks up behind him and tases him in the neck before he can leave.
    Moxxie: I'm not doing it.
Crimson: What was that? I couldn't make it out over the sound of you being a whiny bitch.
Moxxie: I said I'm not doing it, sir. I've spent my whole life being afraid of you, but I'm not giving up the only good thing I've ever had just so you can keep your fragile little sense of control over everything. Millie is a good woman. A better woman than I deserve. And there's nothing that scares me more than hurting her. Not even you. I'm leaving, Dad! And if you or Herpes the Clown over here try to stop me, you'll learn firsthand just how good I've gotten at my job.
  • Car Fu: Millie ends her rampage by tying up a goon to a car and driving it around the reception, painfully dragging him across the floor.
  • Cement Shoes: Crimson, as The Don, is fond of using these to execute enemies. It's all but stated he disposed of Moxxie's mother this way.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: When Millie first appears in the episode, she's in a rage because she ran into an annoying ex-boyfriend. This turns out to be Chaz, who's dated Moxxie as well, and is trying to get Crimson to set up an Arranged Marriage with Moxxie.
  • Children Forced to Kill: As part of teaching a young Moxxie what happens to those that "cross" him, Crimson forces Moxxie to drown someone with a cinderblock tied around their ankles, smashing his face into the block when he hesitates.
  • Con Man: Chaz tricks Crimson into thinking he's made it big and has a crapton of money with the intent of getting Crimson to force an Arranged Marriage between him and Moxxie. Chaz, however, is flat-broke, with Blitzo discovering eviction notices and bills all over his car, as well as a plan outright detailing Chaz's intentions to marry into the family for the money. He clearly Didn't Think This Through regarding Crimson though, since Crimson is notably pissed once Blitzo tells him Chaz was lying, with Crimson later adding a set of shark jaws to his wall.
  • Continuity Nod: When the helicopter is flying I.M.P to Crimson, they fly over the burnt out remains of Loo Loo Land.
  • Contrived Coincidence: Not only does it turn out that both Moxxie and Millie have the same ex, but Millie runs into him shortly before the gang visits Moxxie's father.
  • Cruel and Unusual Death: Many of Millie's kills during her brawl with Crimson's men are beyond cruel, with several getting their skulls ripped out, one getting bisected vertically, one being strangled by his own intestines, one getting killed so bad he was turned into sushi and yet another being basically chewed up and spit out by one of his fellow goons. However, easily the worst one goes to the final Mafioso Millie kills: Millie drags him behind Chaz's stolen car by the neck, all the while he is getting electrocuted and stabbed by the light strand Millie used to tether him to the car.
  • Curb Stomp Cushion: Although one of the shark goons does manage to get a hit on Millie during the forced wedding, she still ends up slaughtering them all without much trouble. By the end of it, both Crimson and Chaz are cowering in fear when Millie walks up to reclaim Moxxie.
  • Darker and Edgier: Outside of Chaz's humorous sexual attempts, most of the episode is filled with the most drama to date in the series, as it explores Moxxie's mafia family and his dark childhood that goes with it.
  • Dead Hat Shot: The lake Crimson rows Moxxie out to is absolutely brimming with the floating hats of his previous victims, but the actual shot is when the shoe of his wife floats to the surface.
  • Death Glare: Crimson gives Chaz a piercing "Is this true?" look when Blitzo reveals he's a con man who faked his wealth to gain more power in the family. His next scene is him hanging up Chaz's teeth in his den as a trophy.
  • Deep South: Millie's dialect becomes more pronounced when she goes on her rampage.
  • Depraved Bisexual: Chaz is the ex-boyfriend of both Millie and Moxxie, has little to no respect for personal boundaries, and doesn't seem to really care who his partner is so long as he can just have sex at all, since after he is rejected by both Moxxie and Millie, he "seduces" fellow Depraved Pansexual Blitzo, this time successfullynote . He's apparently not that good on his own though, since Blitzo outright calls him bad in bed.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Chaz tries to con the mafia by getting Crimson to think he's rich and get Moxxie into an Arranged Marriage, but he clearly had no plan for if/when the mob boss figured out the truth, which gets him Killed Offscreen.
  • Distressed Dude: At the day of the ceremony, Moxxie finally stands up to his father and declares he won't take part and threatens him if his family tries anything on Millie. Unfortunately, Crimson drags him to the ceremony anyway, leaving Millie to rescue her husband and slaughter anyone in the way.
  • Does This Remind You of Anything?: During Moxxie's flashback to him dating Chaz, he's at one point polishing his rifle. Chaz then walks up behind him to help him do it, with Moxxie blushing and looking rather... pleased at the stroking.
  • Dragged into Drag: Moxxie is forced to wear a wedding dress for his "wedding" to Chaz, likely as a way for Crimson to punish and humiliate him for trying to stand up to him.note
  • Dramatically Missing the Point: Crimson assumes that just because Moxxie is bisexual, it automatically means he's gay. Mox tries to correct him, but Crimson already declares he couldn't care less as long as he cooperates.
  • Establishing Character Moment: When we first see Crimson, he's propositioning Blitzo for their services over the phone. Not only is he hiring them to a job outside of their business model (assassinating someone already in Hell), but it was done entirely under false pretenses (the whole thing was actually meant to get Moxxie back) and he has goons show up in a helicopter, blow up their office in a grandiose display and escorts them to Greed before Blitzo has any time to ponder the offer. This tells us three things about him: he's manipulative, he has overwhelming manpower if flattery fails and he isn't the type to take "no" for an answer.
  • Even Evil Has Standards:
    • Zig-zagged. It looks to be subverted when Chaz makes a move on Blitzo, who asks why he would betray Moxxie and Millie's trust by boning their traitorous ex. All Chaz has to do is to tell him he can show him what Moxxie and Millie are sexually into. It's played straight when Blitzo reveals he only slept with Chaz as a Secret Test of Character, which Chaz fails by being terrible in bed, prompting Blitzo to investigate further. That's when Blitzo finds out that Chaz is conning the mafia to marry Moxxie, to which he states, "No one fucks with M&M's marriage but me!"
    • Despite everything else he's planning to do, Chaz looks genuinely shocked when Crimson has Alessio knock Moxxie out with a taser for standing up for himself.
  • Evil Has a Bad Sense of Humor: After he sticks Blitzo in the neck with a needle and locks him in his car trunk, Chaz makes a joke about him having a lot of "junk in his trunk". One second later, and he's cringing over how bad his attempt at a one-liner was.
  • Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: Moxxie is telling Millie about how he grew up in a region of Greed and points to it, saying that he never wants to go back, only to realize that they're headed in that direction.
  • Faux Affably Evil: Crimson appears to be very polite at first. He invites I.M.P over for dinner, provides them with rooms, and his entire plan seems to be just getting Moxxie out of his hair (albeit with clear aggravation). Once everyone else is gone, the mask drops, and Crimson threatens Moxxie's life, as well as Millie's, if Moxxie doesn't marry Chaz.
  • Fireball Eyeballs: When Millie finds out Chaz left Moxxie behind to get arrested after a heist gone wrong, her pupils turn into flames as she tries to stab him.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus:
    • Blitzo's obsession with horses attacks again: he has a white board filled with a horse shipping chart at I.M.P, depicting their sexualities, relationships with each other, and attitudes in bed. He has a cabinet filled with porn of furries in horse costumes. And has horses on his underwear.
    • The radio station's names that Blitzo passes over are "Mammon's Channelâ„¢", "Station 69", "Lusty Tones", "Station 66.6", "Station 80.085" and "Wrath's #1 F*ck You Up Hits".
    • Chaz has "Oh, Crap!" written in his face even before Millie starts attacking. And he has an erection after seeing Millie's massacre.
    • When Crimson flings one goon at Millie, fully-made sushi rolls fly out of the carnage.
    • Moxxie has a small blush after Millie spanked him in the ass.
  • Funny Background Event:
    • Millie has a grossed-up face after Blitzo pulls Chaz's car key from inside his underwear.
    • During Millie's rampage, Crimson's bodyguard Alessio is at the aisle just watching the massacre completely unfazed.
  • Gangsterland: Large tracts of the Greed Ring outside of Loo Loo Land seem to be populated entirely by mobsters. The lakes are full of (presumably illegal) waste dump sights and drowned demons, bank robberies are implied to happen frequently, and the town Crimson lives in is even called "Notamafia Town".
Town sign: Welcome to Notamafia Town. "No Mafia Here! We're Mafia Free!"
  • Given Name Reveal: While the priest refers to Moxxie with "no last name", a look on his phone reveals Moxxie's last name is literally "Knolastname".
  • Glowing Eyes of Doom:
  • Gorn: No detail is spared when Millie massacres the Mafia.
  • Grievous Harm with a Body: Millie uses several of Crimson's guards as weapons during her slaughter of them, even using Blitzo as a melee weapon as he can only look bemused as she does so.
  • Grimy Water: All the water that can be seen throughout the episode is polluted beyond all reason, no doubt from all the various chemicals and dead bodies thrown into it without a care.
  • Harmful to Minors: Two imp children get to see Blitzo's "research" (porn) when Crimson's men break down the wall to collect I.M.P. The girl starts crying and the boy vomits.
  • Hypocritical Heartwarming: After finding out Chaz's con plan, Blitzo says, "No one fucks with M&M's marriage but me!" Unfortunately, Chaz drugs him at that moment.
  • I Have You Now, My Pretty: Chaz gives Moxxie a really unsettling grin and looms over him at the altar.
  • Implied Death Threat: When Moxxie ends up Calling the Old Man Out, he tells Crimson that he'll find out "just how good I've gotten at my job" as a hitman if he tries to come after anyone in I.M.P ever again.
  • Indirect Kiss: Blitzo treats sleeping with Chaz, a guy who has slept with both Moxxie and Millie, as this, even proudly claiming how much closer they all are now that they have all slept with the same guy.
  • In Love with Your Carnage: If one looks closely, Chaz has an erection while Millie is slaughtering Crimson's men.
  • In Memoriam: Played for Laughs In-Universe. The episode ends with a tribute to Chazwick Thurman, who was a character in the episode itself. His actor, Eric Schwartz, was alive and well at the time the episode was posted.
  • Instantly Proven Wrong: After Crimson reveals the pop-up dildos, Moxxie protests that he cannot think of anyone of any sexuality who would be into that kind of stuff. As if on cue...
Blitzo: (from the next room over) HA! There's dicks in the walls! Oh, that's fucking hilarious!
  • Irony: Both Chaz and Crimson are hoping to use the other to get wealth, unaware that the other doesn't have the money that they need.
  • Killed Offscreen: After I.M.P ruins Crimson's plans, revealing that Chaz is really in debt the whole time, Crimson has Chaz killed. While it's shown that Crimson hangs Chaz's teeth as a trophy on his wall, how Chaz actually dies is not shown or even hinted at.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: After Millie slaughters all of Crimson's men and shoots him a Death Glare and puts Moxxie on her shoulder to take him back, all Crimson can do is allow them to leave with an irritated look on his face since he has nothing to stop her and most likely knows that trying to stop her at that point would end in his own gruesome death. And before this, the priest officiating the wedding calmly leaves while Flipping the Bird with both hands.
  • Leitmotif:
    • In the first half of the episode, nearly any scene Chaz opens his mouth is accompanied by dubstep-like track with whining synths and lowtempo bass to emphasize his Casanova Wannabe tendencies. His signature song, "Chaz Time" (which becomes his leitmotif over the second half of the episode) includes similar lowtempo bass elements.
    • Snippets of Millie's Wild West-evoking leitmotif from previous episodes can be found in "Crashin' A Muthafuckin' Wedding" which plays during her rampage against Crimson's goons.
  • LOL, 69: One of the radio stations in Chaz's car is called "Station 69".
  • Lousy Lovers Are Losers: Blitzo agrees to sleep with Chaz when Chaz offers to show him what Millie and Moxxie liked in bed. After what is implied to be rather terrible sex, Blitzo goes hunting for dirt on Chaz because no one that bad in the sack could have scored either of his employees without some kind of con.
  • Love at First Sight: When Moxxie is explaining his past romance with Chaz, he reveals that he was instantly enamoured with Chaz the moment he saw him.
  • Mafia Princess: Gender Inverted. Moxxie is the heir to a Mafia based out of the Greed Ring, and acted as one up until a heist gone bad landed him in jail. It was there he met Blitzo, who pretty much conscripted him into helping him escape, and from there Moxxie grew attached and gave up the mafia life in favor of joining I.M.P. It's because of this that Crimson claimed he wanted to "hire" I.M.P in the first place. He needed an excuse to get in contact with Moxxie so he can force his son into an Arranged Marriage with Chaz, so that Crimson can name Chaz his new heir instead.
  • Mama Bear: Moxxie's mother clearly tried to protect him from Crimson's worst abuses, according to some flashbacks. Because Crimson had enough of this, he had her whacked, heavily implying that he dumped her body in a river with several others.
  • Marital Rape License: May or may not be implied. While he attempted to seduce Moxxie into consenting earlier and didn't try to break back into the room when kicked out, Chaz leans close and leers in an especially terrifying way during the wedding.
  • Misplaced Retribution: At the end of the episode, Crimson swears revenge on Moxxie for the destruction of his gang. As noted below, Moxxie literally isn't responsible for that and had Crimson not been forcing Moxxie into a Shotgun Wedding, Millie wouldn't have bothered either.
  • Missing Mom: Moxxie's mom is nowhere to be seen at the present time, a flashback heavily implying she was killed by Crimson for going against him in the way he was trying to raise Moxxie, with one of her shoes surfacing on the water alongside the items of others that "crossed" Crimson.
  • Missing Steps Plan: Chaz's "Mastur Plan" has ??? in-between him marrying Moxxie and profiting.
  • Momma's Boy: It's shown via a flashback that Moxxie was very close to his mother when he was young.
  • Mook Chivalry: Most of Crimson's goons decide to attack Millie one at a time rather than ganging up on her. There are also a few of them who pull out their guns but get close to her rather than shooting from a distance. One notable example is Stu (the half-succubus mook), who is visible at the beginning of the fight and even holds a gun, but waits about a minute to finally try to attack Millie, but rather than shooting, he gets close enough to get hit with a gasoline container.
  • Multi-Melee Master: Millie performs another dissertation in the finale by ripping someone's skull out, choking someone with the spinal cord, bisecting one with her knife, ripping a shark's jaws out, using the jaws to force a goon to shoot another and then themselves, biting a heart out, slicing an enemy apart with her knife, hanging someone with the intestines of the previous enemy, impaling three subsequent goons on dildo poles, bashing one with a gas can in the mouth before shooting the can, ripping one's guts open by bashing them with Blitzo, stuffing one into a large shark demon's mouth and elbow-dropping onto the shark's face before dragging said shark with a car and finally punching a last goon in the face.
  • Nerves of Steel: During Millie's massacre against Crimson's goons to save Moxxie, Chaz and later Crimson himself are horrified when Millie graphically kills Crimson's goons without a scratch. However, Crimson's bodyguard Alessio remains completely stoic to all the violence and doesn't even react when Millie nearly runs them over or when she takes Moxxie away as opposed to Chaz' fearful expression and Crimson's annoyed resignation.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Crimson's "decorations" for the wedding actually give Millie a good deal of weaponry to work with in her massacre, both at long-range and melee distance.
  • No Bisexuals: Crimson assumes his son is completely gay and using Millie as The Beard, never mind the fact that his future son-in-law is himself both bisexual and promiscuous enough that Crimson was likely aware of it.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: While Crimson's goons all have unique individual designs, they are all either shark demons or hybrid between shark demons and other types of demons, except for one single imp. He does not fare any better than the other mooks despite being non-standard to them, though.
  • Noodle Incident:
    • While Moxxie's past relationship with Chaz is explored in depth, there's very little to go on with Millie's relationship with Chaz, all that's known being that Millie hates his guts. How they met, how they broke up, and what their relationship was like at all is left unrevealed as a result. It's especially odd given the episode starts with Millie being viscously enraged by just meeting him but we never find out exactly why Millie hates him so much.
    • While it's revealed that Moxxie met Blitzo in jail, we never find out why Blitzo was there in the first place—and knowing Blitzo, there's not quite a short list of reasons.
  • Not Worth Killing: Other than giving Crimson and Chaz a Death Glare after rescuing Moxxie, Millie doesn't try to kill them, as her husband's security is a bigger priority over her desire for revenge.
  • Number of the Beast: One of the radio stations in Chaz's car is called "Station 66.6"
  • One Degree of Separation: Before Moxxie and Millie met one-another, they had individually courted or dated Chaz. Lampshaded by Blitzo when he hears this.
Blitzo: ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! There's someone who's fucked BOTH OF YOU?!
  • One-Woman Army: Millie takes on several of Crimson's men in order to save Moxxie by herself and wins effortlessly.
  • Out of Focus: Loona only appears in the first scene and the last one, and gets no speaking lines at all, a first in the series.
  • Person As Noun: When they are about to interrupt Moxxie's forced wedding, Blitzo tells Millie they're gonna do "a Shrek".
  • Pie-Eyed: Moxxie briefly has these when he says "It's been 84 years..."
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: Crimson is homophobic, having called Moxxie and Chaz's relationship "a sissy lifestyle", only pretends to be accepting of their sexuality because Chaz claims to be rich now, installed pop-up dildos all over the mansion to make it "more to your kind's liking", and engages in bi erasure by thinking that being bi is the same thing as being gay. He's also sexist, as he tells his goons that Millie shouldn't be beating them because "she's a dame" and a "broad", implying that he thinks women are weak.
  • Queer Establishing Moment: Up until this episode, Moxxie's attraction to men was mainly implied and used for throwaway jokes, like him wanting to know what sex with Michael Crawford was like and calling Loopty Goopty's torture of the also male Lyle Lipton "kinda hot". Here, we're not only shown that he was once in a romantic relationship with Chaz, a male shark demon, but he also explicitly tells his dad that he's bisexual.
  • Raging Stiffie: It's easy to miss, but Chaz has a bulge in his pants while Millie is massacring Crimson's goons.
  • Rapid-Fire "No!": Moxxie lets out one of these when he realizes that he's been taken to his father's estate.
  • Restrained Revenge: Despite feeling murderous rage for her ex-boyfriend Chaz (especially after hearing of how he abandoned Moxxie to be arrested), Millie doesn't kill Chaz for trying to steal her husband away from her. She settles with throwing a dildo to his face.
  • Retcon: In the season 1 episode "The Harvest Moon Festival", Moxxie originally says that he grew up in the Wrath ring, but in this episode we find out that Moxxie was born in the Wrath ring and raised in the Greed ring. Nevermind the fact that in the former episode, it was implied that Moxxie met and got together with Millie in Wrath before working with Blitzo.
  • Revenge: At the end of the episode, Crimson had Chaz killed; however, he throws a knife at a picture of Moxxie. He wants revenge on Moxxie (and possibly I.M.P) for the humiliation and for standing up to him and leaving him.
  • Rewatch Bonus: When Millie vents about meeting her ex, she recounts him saying "he has money now and a bright future and a bigger cock". The last one elicits a "Wait, what?" from Moxxie that doesn't get a follow-up at that time. As we later learn, he also has an ex who likes to brag about his dick size.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: After sleeping with Chaz and discovering that he's absolutely awful in the sack, Blitzo comes to the conclusion that he's hiding something since "nobody that bad in bed could score two hotties so easily". He's absolutely correct in that Chaz was pulling the wool over everyone's eyes by pretending to be rich, but his lack of sexual prowess is unlikely to have had anything to do with it.
  • Roaring Rampage of Rescue: After Millie finds out that Moxxie is being forced into a Shotgun Wedding, she steals Chaz's car with Blitzo, crashes through the fence, and proceeds to single-handedly slaughter all of the mobsters except for Crimson. She invokes several very violent ways of killing the mobsters, including ripping out their spines, biting someone's heart out, and pacing a mobster in another's mouth before elbow-dropping them both at once.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Elder Jaws the Priest decides to leave once Millie begins her rampage on the wedding, remaining stone faced as he flips the bird at everyone before walking off.
  • Sex God: Chaz claims he's a master in the sack. After sleeping with him, Blitzo begs to differ.
Blitzo: Okay fucker, nobody who's that bad in bed can score two hotties that easily. I know you gotta be hiding something...
  • Shoot the Fuel Tank: One of the goons is killed when Millie hits him in the mouth with a fuel canister, which appears to get caught on his shark teeth, then shoots it, exploding his head.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Source Music: As he and Millie prepare to crash the wedding, Blitzo turns on the radio in Chaz's car, specifically putting on the station "Wrath's #1 "F*ck You Up" Hits". Said station remains playing as Millie proceeds to massacre all of Crimson's men and saves Moxxie.
  • Stylistic Suck: Chaz's attempts to "serenade" Moxxie by rhyming badly about his sexual prowess to cheesy music. There's no way that would have wowed Moxxie even if Chaz didn't already disgust him.
  • There Was a Door: When the helicopter Crimson's men sends to get I.M.P arrives, it tears out a section of the wall to get them, much to Blitzo's ire.
Blitzo: Satan's asscrack! Enough with the wall shit, we have a door!
  • This Is for Emphasis, Bitch!: Millie modified the "Just Married" banner attached to the helicopter to read "We're Married, Bitch".
  • This Is Gonna Suck: Chaz is visibly distraught even before Millie starts ripping apart Crimson's goons. After all he also dated her and is well acquainted with her murderous might in a fight.
  • Threatening Shark: Chaz and many demons in the Greed Ring are anthropomorphic sharks, and are ruthless gangsters.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Chaz thought that trying to con the mob was a good idea, and the last we see of him is Crimson hanging his teeth as a trophy.
  • Tranquil Fury:
    • Downplayed, as she has some moments of hissing and feral attacks, but Millie is clearly in control of her rage during her rampage on Crimson's mooks. She shows that she can use the bones of her enemies and anything in her environment as a weapon, use her martial skills with enough focus to deflect bullets, and only focuses on rescuing Moxxie rather than killing Crimson and Chaz.
    • Played straight with Crimson, who (after Blitzo reveals Chaz lied about being rich) silently gives him a murderous look, while the con man can do nothing but nervously chuckle.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Crimson clearly didn't consider Millie a threat to his plans, siccing all his guards on her when she crashes the wedding with an eye roll while writing her off as a "broad". He swiftly comes to regret it he sees her slaughter all of his guards, screaming at his men that they should be able to kill her easily and clearly freaking out when it looks like Millie is going to run him over.
  • Undignified Death: During Millie's Roaring Rampage of Rescue, she impales at least one of Crimson's goons through the mouth on a dildo.
  • Vanity License Plate: Chaz's car's plate says HGECOK.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Crimson goes through one where he sends a veritable army of gangsters after Millie, and she cuts her way through all of them.
Crimson: What the fuck?! She's a dame! She's a broad! Kill her! You frickin' goons! What the fuck is the matter with you?! Why do I pay you?! Get her, you stupid idiots! Go get her!
  • Wedding Smashers: The climax of the episode is Millie and Blitzo crashing Moxxie and Chaz's wedding, where Millie brutally cuts down Crimson's men when they try to stop her from reclaiming her captured husband.
  • Wham Line: Crimson delivers when telling Moxxie his plan:
Crimson: The only thing you're right about is that that obnoxious piss stain can't get made! Not unless he marries in!
Moxxie: M-Married? But who would he-
Crimson: WHO DO YA THINK!? This family needs that money, and it's time that your pathetic ass was useful for something!
  • Wham Shot: In Moxxie's flashback to his childhood, a lot of shots are shown to his mother's shoes. One of said shoes can be seen at the end of the flashback... floating in a lake with the possessions of all of Crimson's other victims...
  • What a Drag: Millie kills one of Crimson's goons this way by tying a string of lights wrapped around his neck to the end of Chaz's car and driving at high speed.
  • Whip of Dominance: After Millie's Roaring Rampage of Rescue in Moxxie's "wedding", she stands before Crimson and Chaz and cracks her imp tail like a whip, creating the iconic sound in tune to the country music playing throughout, as symbolic of her asserting her dominance over Crimson, who decides to hand over Moxxie without a fuss.
  • The Worf Effect: Blitzo isn't very helpful in Moxxie's rescue without his guns, only being in a jacket and his underpants. He tried to whack a goon at range with a steel bar and fails. Somewhat justified, as he was most likely still feeling woozy from the knockout drug Chaz jabbed him with earlier.
  • Working with the Ex: Twofold. When I.M.P is called in by Crimson, he also calls in Chaz, Moxxie's ex-boyfriend from when he was still in the mafia. Chaz also turns out to be Millie's ex-boyfriend too, both having dated him at separate times, and whereas Moxxie is just uncomfortable around Chaz, Millie is homicidally violent around him, to the point Moxxie and Blitzo need to restrain her before she can kill Chaz after learning he let Moxxie get sent to prison.
  • Wretched Hive: What we see of Greed is a land full of factories, organized crime, and not much else.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Given how many times it's been established that Blitzo really wants to have sex with both Moxxie and Millie, he's pretty pissed off to find out Chaz beat him to the punch.
Blitzo: Are you fucking kidding me?! There is someone who has fucked both of you?!
  • Your Head Asplode: Millie kills two goons this way, one by blocking his gun and causing it to backfire, the other by shooting a fuel canister jammed in his mouth.
