After another Tumblr user, himapapaftw, informed Hussie of the crack pairing by providing a link to the Hussieruya blog, many fans rushed to Himaruya's inbox to send him the same link. He has yet to respond.
In the new update of the Christmas Event (aka the 2011 Bloodbath), Austria gets tired of walking and Germany offers him his back to sit on. This branched out into fans pasting pictures of the characters onto the names of objects that sound like their name (example: "brussia", "cubacle", "austreea", etc.) and has become a meme in almost no time flat.
A minor meme on Tumblr, it came from a comment left by a member of the series's Hate Dumb on an anti-Hetalia stamp on Deviant ART. The comment found it's way onto dumbdeviantart, a popular blog that's Exactly What It Says on the Tin, and became a bit of a joke among fans on Tumblr.
