This, along with the changes made by the translators that introduced new jokes, insults, and odd voices, resulted in some new memes, such as:

"England looks DEAD SEXY in a miniskirt!", which is an actual quote from Eric Vale. The retorts of "America looks dead sexy in a miniskirt" (also an actual quote), and "IT'S A KILT, YOU WANKER!" are obvious tagalongs.
The voice actors often get asked to say "[Nation] looks dead sexy in a miniskirt!" at cons because of this.

After another Tumblr user, himapapaftw, informed Hussie of the crack pairing by providing a link to the Hussieruya blog, many fans rushed to Himaruya's inbox to send him the same link. He has yet to respond.

Couchtalia. Explanation In the 2011 Bloodbath, Austria gets tired of walking and Germany offers him his back to sit on. This branched out into fans pasting pictures of the characters onto the names of objects that sound like their name (example: "brussia", "cubacle", "austreea", etc.) and has become a meme in almost no time flat.
Twisted, shit-spewing CUMDONUT.Explanation A minor meme on Tumblr, it came from a comment left by a member of the series's Hate Dumb on an anti-Hetalia stamp on deviantART. The comment found its way onto dumbdeviantart, a popular blog that's Exactly What It Says on the Tin, and became a bit of a joke among fans on Tumblr.
