  • Adapted Out: "Dragon Boy," "Hero Time," and "Phantom Pains" each exclude many characters from their respective series:
    • The Longs, Fu Dog, Trixie, Spud, and Professor Rotwood are absent in "Dragon Boy."
    • A good chunk of characters (both major and minor) from the canon classic continuity are absent in "Hero Time." Notable examples include the Tennysons, Animo, Kevin, the DNAliens, the Incurseans, and Aggregor.
    • The Fentons, Sam, Tucker, Skulker, Technus, Walker, Vlad, Klemper, the Ghost Writer, Danielle, and Amorpho are absent in "Phantom Pains."
  • Alliterative Title: Several examples.
    • Fanfic titles:
