It focuses on Jermaine hanging out with robots with Elemental Powers and their creators.

- In "Fembot Helpers," the way Aquaria rescues a drowning man (grabbing him with one hand and using the other hand to swim back to the surface) is exactly the same way Ariel rescues Prince Eric from drowning in The Little Mermaid (1989).
- In "Insect Queen," Brenna asks Jermaine if his love of black widow spiders is because of Black Widow from The Avengers (2012). It isn't.
- At the end of "Animal Friends," Jermaine and Phoebe binge watch all of Serengeti and Planet Earth.
- Smart People Wear Glasses: The above-mentioned Bespectacled Cuties are all genius inventors.
