Negi Springfield
- Face–Heel Turn: played for laughs. When he was a little kid, he became a supervillain in the beleif that he he became evil enough, his heroic father would appear to stop him. The authorities called his cousin, who spanked it out of him, but several British goverment agencies still ahve files on him from his supervillain days.
Hakase Satomi
- Even the Girls Want Her: To Sakurako. Recently, Chisame has also shown signs of attraction to her, strong enough for 2814! Haruna to notice.
Kasuga Misora
- Naughty Nuns: Much more interested on Negi, or at least on teasing him, than in the original.
- Nuns Are Mikos: Lampshaded, as people keep pointing out she's not a real nun.
Kakizaki Misa
- Lovable Sex Maniac: bordering on Depraved Bisexual. She's even fantasized about having sex with herself
Kagurazaka Asuna
- The Big Guy: She's certainly one of the hardest hitters among Negi's current partners.
Suzushiro Haruka
- Accidental Kiss: With Negi, giving him his seventh Pactio.
- Charles Atlas Superpower: Even before getting her Pactio, she's still brutally strong, as the Narutaki twins learned the hard way.
Saotome Haruna
- Parental Incest: She also feels physical attraction towards both her parents, and has even openly hit on her mother.
- Retired Badass: She actually knows a lot about martial arts, but has slacked away and prefers not to use them unless it's really needed.
Itoshiki Nozomu
- Adaptational Badass: Kinda. Unlike the canon version, he is a Dark Magic user, and he isn't afraid to personally confront Evangeline on her own grounds.
- Blessed with Suck/Cursed with Awesome: He's Immortal, and can't die. Hasn't stopped him from giving it his best shot...
- Likes Older Women: When he still was a child, he fell in love with Princess Arika.
Kaga Ai
- The Fool: While meek and shy, her actions can have rather nasty consequences for those around her, like dumping her friends at a trash dump while they're unconscious and leaving them there while going looking for Itoshiki
- Making a Splash: Her Pactio with Itoshiki gives her a water-shooting umbrella.
Tsunetsuki Matoi
- Berserk Button: Threatening anyone she's in DEEP LOVE with.
- Character Development: surprisingy, she's getting developed as her involvement in the story continues.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: When her Berserk Button gets pressed.
- Stalking is Love: initially for Negi, but that was just a Bait-and-Switch to mess with readers. She's now committed to Chisame, though sometimes gets sidetrack into thinking of Chisame threesomes...
Kuga Natsuki
- Stalker with a Crush: Most people thinks she is this, after seeing her following Negi from a distance. In truth, she is spying on him under Chao's orders.
The Joker
- Dark Magical Girl: Or rather, Magical Woman. A younger and good, although still Magical Girl truly female version of himself also exists in a parallel universe.
- Fourth-Wall Observer: So far, he's shown slight elements of this.
- Gender Bender: As a Kämpfer
- Only Sane Man: Disturbingly enough, he has these moments...
- Shipper on Deck: On his own way, for Quartum and Ruri.
Quartum Averruncus
- Ascended Extra: Goes from only appearing for a few chapters in the manga to being the Averruncus with the most lines and appearances in the story so far.
Hoshino Ruri
- Punch-Clock Villain: Helps the Joker and Quartum, but only because they have her kidnapped, and she doesn't have anywhere else to go.
Aoyama Tsukuyomi
- Brother–Sister Incest: Setsuna is her older half sister. This doesn't stop her from creepily lusting after Setsuna.
- Children Are Innocent: Averted. Even as a little child, she mistreated animals and other children for fun, and tried to drown Konoka over jealousy.
Kuchiki Rukia
- Hero of Another Story: If this were another series, Rukia's arc would be pretty damned interesting. As it is, in this series, she is just yet another background event.
Rosarita "Roberta" Cisneros
- Tank Goodness: She knows how to drive and shoot a tank with ease.
The Vigilante
- No Name Given: His full real name or his secret identity before he was a Servant haven't been stated in-story yet, although it's not exactly hard to figure them out.
Tomoe Mami
- Adaptational Wimp: Luckily for her and her friends, they aren't Puella Magi, and don't even know about magic.
- Buxom Beauty Standard: She doesn't flaunt her breasts, but they make her very popular in the Academy.
- Running Gag: Whenever she shows up, allusions to "losing your head" and cut necks follow.
Yami The Golden Darkness
- Recurring Boss: Has worked both for Chigusa and Count Graf Wilhelm so far, making her the most frequent adversary for Ala Alba until this point. And now it seems she's also been recruited by Chao.
