Mr. Luciano
- Apathetic Teacher: He doesn't care much for teaching...
- Cool Teacher: But he's still a pretty okay guy.
- Batman Gambit: Pulls one on Scooter in the first episode.
- Benevolent Boss: Most of the time...
- Bunny-Ears Lawyer: He's not that great of a teacher and prefers computers to people, but his students are still dedicated people.
- Drop-In Character: Inverted since his promotion to Tech Coordinator. Any scene with Luciano takes place almost exclusively in his office, with the students dropping in on him instead.
- Expy: of Michael Scott, to a certain extent. He has more of the incompetence rater than the goofiness.
- In-Series Nickname: "Lucy" or "Luci," Depending on the Writer.
- The Mentor: Settles into this role after a bit.
- Real Life Writes the Plot: He's not around often because he left his position as teacher to be Tech Coordinator. Even though it's acknowledged in-universe, scheduling prevents him from being around much.
- Surrounded by Idiots: He certainly thinks so.
- Throw It In!: Many of his lines are improvised.
Mrs. Reda
- Horrible Judge of Character: Often trusts the wrong people to accomplish things.
- Misplaced Kindergarten Teacher: Comes across as this sometimes, but no one seems to mind.
- Pet the Dog: Much more willing to show her appreciation for her students than Lucy.
- Satellite Character
- Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Sort of, for Luciano. While she lacks his strange personality quirks, she still takes on his role as the long-suffering teacher surrounded by insane students.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Often plays this role, making a suggestion that sets the stage for the episode's conflict.
- What the Hell, Hero?: She's seen delivering one of these to Ashley and Anthony for Anthony's inappropriate PDA lecture.
Jason
- Ambition Is Evil: Averted, despite his attempts to gain recognition for all his work.
- Attention Whore: Sort of. He really just wants someone to acknowledge all of the hard work he puts into things, and is willing to go to extremes to ensure it.
- Catchphrase: "Scooter..."
- Control Freak: Sort of.
- Deadpan Snarker: In response to Scooter's antics.
- Evil Costume Switch: His new look in the fourth episode contributes to his descent into fashion-savvy narcissism, but its subverted in that he keeps the look even after his Heel Realization.
- Expy: Of Dwight Schrute.
- Foil: To Scooter, in that Scooter's a slave to societal expectations whereas Jason's a free-thinking visionary.
- The Hero: The closest thing the show has to one.
- Kick the Dog: His treatment of Scooter in the Valentine's Day Episode.
- Pop-Cultured Badass: How he thinks of himself, throwing references around in an effort to sound cool when he's trying to accomplish things. See Shout-Out below.
- Narcissist: Becomes this during the fourth episode, and still occasionally displays some basic traits.
- Number Two: Thinks of himself as this to Luciano/Reda.
- Only Sane Man: Thinks himself this, but proves several times that he isn't.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Delivers one to Scooter in the fifth episode.
- The Rival / Unknown Rival: To Scooter, but he seems much less aware of this rivalry than Jason does.
- Scarf of Asskicking: Begins wearing a few starting the fourth episode.
- Shout-Out: Makes one to The Dark Knight when he practically quotes the Joker's speech to Harvey Dent verbatim.
- Took a Level in Jerkass: In the 5th episode.
- Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist: Occasionally, but he has more sympathetic moments than not.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: Develops this with Scooter, even if they don't admit it.
- Wrong Genre Savvy: Occasionally.
- Yes-Man: To Luciano, at least until he realizes it gets him nowhere.
Scooter
- Aside Glance: Delivers these fairly often.
- Brilliant, but Lazy: It's implied that he could be just as good at his work as Jason if he applied himself.
- The Ditz: Occasionally.
- Foil: To Jason, as Scooter is more of a self-conscious societal slave, and Jason is a more independent nerd type.
- Jive Turkey: Subverted in that he uses modern slang like "Swag" and "YOLO."
- Pretty Fly for a White Guy: Has shades of this, and mentions he's a rap fan.
- Professional Slacker
- The Rival: To Jason.
- Stepford Smiler: Despite his assumed popularity, it's suggested he's much lonelier than he appears.
- Teacher's Pet: He thinks of himself as Luciano's "Favorite." Luciano corrects him.
- Vitriolic Best Buds: Develops this with Jason, even if they don't admit it.
- Yes-Man: Shares this quality with Jason to an extent.
Garrett
- Aesop Amnesia: He'll go from revealing his Hidden Heart of Gold one episode, and the next he's reverted back into a Jerkass.
- Foil: To Anthony, sort of. They're both mean-spirited schemers, but Garrett usually displays some level of remorse where Anthony doesn't.
- Friendless Background: Implied in the fourth episode.
- The Grinch: Revealed to be one during the Christmas Episode.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Many subplots revolve around revealing him to be this rather than a standard Jerkass
- Lonely Together: With Taylor in the Valentines Day episode.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: His Janitor disguise.
- Scarf of Asskicking: Not that he kicks any ass, but he is often seen with a scarf on.
- She Is Not My Girlfriend: Says as much about Taylor.
- Sociopathic Hero: At his best.
- Those Two Guys: With Anthony.
- The Unsmile: Wears a disturbing one throughout the fourth episode.
- Villain Protagonist: Occasionally, and particularly during the Christmas Episode.
- Waistcoat of Style: In tandem with his scarves.
- Zany Scheme: Often involved in one with Anthony.
Anthony
- Cloud Cuckoolander: He's definitely out there.
- Cute Kitten: Has an almost frightening affinity for lolcats.
- Deadpan Snarker: The snarkiest character by far.
- Ditzy Genius: He's fairly intelligent, but seems to have no filter as to what he says or does.
- Foil: To Garrett in the sense that he shows no remorse for his scheming where Garrett eventually does.
- For Science!: An occasional motivation.
- Jerkass
- Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: Unlike Garrett, who will occasionally express some remorse, Anthony's utterly unrepentant about his actions.
- Mad Scientist: Shades of this appear sometimes.
- Manipulative Bastard: He rigs the Secret Santa game so that he winds up with several presents in the Christmas Episode.
- Noodle Implements: From the fifth episode:Anthony: Well, I suppose reanimating this dead bird I killed this morning can wait...
- Odd Friendship: With Ashley, sort of.
- Surrounded by Idiots: Or as he calls them: Fools
- Those Two Guys: with Garrett.
- Villain Protagonist: He actively dislikes the rest of the class, and regularly conspires against them.
- Zany Scheme: Often involved in one with Garrett, but demonstrates he's not without his own solo plans on occasion.
Kameron
- Black and Nerdy: Subtler than Myles, but it's there.
- The Dragon: Occasionally to Garrett and/or Anthony.
- Noodle Incident: Whatever causes Luciano to specifically tell Kameron, of all people, not to look in his secret box.
- Offscreen Moment of Awesome: Often implied that he leads a very interesting offscreen life that never gets showcased.
Myles
- Breakout Character: Popular as a result of his likability and tendency to be The Woobie.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: When he tries to audition for the new Teacher position.
- Phrase Catcher: "Shut up Myles!"
- Secret-Keeper: For Taylor and Garrett after their kiss.
- Starving Student: Quite literally, according to the third episode.
- The Friend Nobody Likes: Despite ironically being the nicest of them all.
- With Friends Like These...: He's supposedly friends with the rest of the main cast, and still endures their disrespect for him.
Taylor
- Easily Forgiven: by Jason for almost giving him a referral.
- Light Feminine Dark Feminine: The dark to Ashley's light.
- Lonely Together: With Garrett in the Valentine's Day Episode.
- Only Sane Woman: She still has her own quirks, but they're more understated.
- Those Two Girls: Sort of, with Ashley.
- Tranquil Fury: Calmly calls the whole class out about their going to far about their New Years resolutions.
- Tsundere: Goes from ordering out referrals to kindly asking for Jason's forgiveness a scene later.
- Tyrant Takes the Helm: Briefly at the end of the second episode.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Dishes this out to everyone about their New Years Resolutions.
- You Are in Command Now: Garrett and Anthony bestow the title of New Teacher upon her, briefly.
Ashley
- Aside Glance: Has as many, if not more, of these than Scooter.
- Control Freak: Even moreso than Jason.
- Gone Horribly Right: Her New Years Resolution plan and Anthony's PDA presentation.
- The Napoleon: Very short and very catty.
- Number Two: While Jason thinks himself this, Ashley is more officially Mrs. Reda's go-to for assignments.
- Hypercompetent Sidekick: To Luciano and Reda.
- Light Feminine Dark Feminine: The light to Taylor's dark.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Her actions in the fourth and fifth episodes.
- Odd Friendship: With Anthony sort of, as well as Scooter.
- Only Sane Woman: Played straight and subverted throughout the fourth episode.
- Sanity Slippage: Loses it over the course of the fourth episode.
- Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: Pulls this at the end of the fourth episode after she loses it.
- Team Mom: Tries to be this to the other main cast.
- Those Two Girls: Sort of, with Taylor.
