'Birdwatcher'

A bearded man who walks with a cane.

Played by: Noah Scammon

  • Animal Motifs: Appears to be the titular 'Birdwatcher' in Broadcast #6 and subsequent broadcasts with the title. He's seen in Broadcast #3 watching a screen with footage of a bird on it, and Broadcast #9 outright mentions that he began birdwatching as per a suggestion by his doctor.
  • Classy Cane: Thus far one of his only defining characteristics. Comes in handy as an improvised weapon as well.
  • Oh, Crap!: The sheer look of terror he sees on his face when he witnesses the dark figure behind him in Broadcast #6.
  • Only Known By His Nickname: He's only known as 'Birdwatcher' by the title of broadcasts which seem to be focused on him.

'Walker'

A mysterious figure in a black hood.

Played by: ???

  • The Faceless: When they turn to look at the "camera" in Broadcast #5, their "face" is presented as distorted static.
  • Offscreen Teleportation: Apparently capable of this.
  • Only Known By His Nickname: They are only known as 'Walker' by the title of broadcasts which focus on him.
  • Recurring Element: A strange person in a hood acting extremely suspicious, just like the one from Marble Hornets. Another parallel is how their face distorts when a camera catches it, much like how Tim's camera distorted in Entry #83 of Marble Hornets when he pointed it at Hoody's face.
  • Stern Chase: Seems to be on the run from something in Broadcast #5.

Danielle Scott

The pseudonym (if not real name) of a person claiming to be the admin of the now-defunct Marble Hornets website, which was originally set up by Alex prior to his work on the student film.

  • All Your Base Are Belong to Us: Seems have to have hijacked the Marble Hornets webpage.
  • Alternate Reality Game: Everything relating to D. Scott so far has been outside of the series, occurring through replies sent to viewers who emailed her.
  • The Cracker: When the Marble Hornets website was first revealed, it didn't have any mention of D. Scott. It only did so after the site was mentioned to be 'under investigation'. It's unknown if D. Scott is the admin for the domain Alex was using, or if she's some sort of hacker posing as the site owner.
  • Cryptic Conversation: All her email responses have been this so far. They've all contained clues on how to access hidden parts of the Marble Hornets website.
  • The Ghost
  • Interface Screw: She sends out an email saying she'll be out of the office until DD/MM/YYYY, implying that her automated message settings have been screwed with. Her Vagueness Is Coming-esque warnings are also all in lower-case.
  • Last-Name Basis: Assuming it's even her real name, 'Scott' is the only full part we know of his name.
    • Later subverted during the ARG leading into ECKVA revealing their name is Danielle Scott and that due to financial issues they ended up selling the Clear Lakes broadcasting company to whoever is running the ECKVA broadcasts.
  • Meaningful Name / No Celebrities Were Harmed: Possibly based on paranormal psychologist D. Scott Rogo.
  • Outside-Context Problem: Though she appears integral in linking Marble Hornets with Clear Lakes 44, there's absolutely no precedent for her existence or why she's suddenly the admin of the Marble Hornets webpage, let alone any link she has to Alex Kraile or the student film.
  • Vagueness Is Coming: Her emails end with cryptic warnings such as 'there are footsteps' and 'i know where you are'. They lead to hidden parts of the Marble Hornets web page, which contain their own cryptic warnings in the page addresses and file names, such as 'dontdoit', 'donotanswer', 'knockknockknock', and 'werealwayswithyou'.

[Name Unknown] (Nicknames: The Dark Man, Brighteyes, Dark Figure, Glitchy)

A being that appears as a completely black human-shaped creature with two glowing white eyes. Who or what it is isn't known yet.

[Name Unknown] (Nicknames: Showrunner)

A human figure with blacked out eyes and a low, distorted voice. Seems to be running the show, so to speak, providing the footage seen.

  • Take That, Audience!: Makes his debut attacking the watchers. do you like watching people suffer? what is wrong with you?
  • Recurring Element: Like totheark in Marble Hornets, he seems to be operating independently from anyone else, uploading utter Mind Screws and offering vague, ominous statements in some sort of attempt to communicate with another. To top it off, one can find a scrambled "regards" at the end of Broadcast 11, a word deeply associated with totheark.
