Sinner Ability: Empathic Prayer

Skills: Mercy, Abyssal Glimmer, Heal Up, Benediction
Affiliation: Spencer family(Formerly), MBCC
Birthplace: Eastside
Birthday: March 16
Height: 165cm
Voiced by: Kelly Baskin (EN), Si Bai (CN), Reina Ueda (JP), Yuu Yeong (KR)

The daughter of the influential Spencer family.
  • Custody Battle: After Ariel's Faking the Dead is discovered, her father Ganson had multiple negotiations with the MBCC to regain his daughter's custody, but she rejected the requests personally becasue she would rather stay beside the Chief rather than become a tool for political marriage.
  • Cute Clumsy Girl: Ariel's attempts at helping others usually end badly due to how clumsy she is. Most people appreciate her kind and easygoing nature, but a small number of Sinners are annoyed by her excessive sympathy and feel humiliated by it.
  • Faking the Dead: Ariel decided to do this when her dismissive father named Ganson shot her for being a Sinner during the interrogation. The reason why she faked her own death is not only to separate herself from the Spencer family, but also hoped to burden her father with the guilt of killing his own daughter even if it is unlikely to affect him emotionally.
  • Nice Girl: Ariel stands out as one of the nicest Sinners in the game. She's always willing to help, loves playing the piano for others, and has never intentionally abused her Sinner powers. Many people came to her fake funeral because of her money contribution to causes and being known to be overall a kind, charitable girl.
  • No Sense of Direction: As a Cute Clumsy Girl, Ariel has No Sense of Direction as she lost her way multiple times in the Bureau. She once intruded into Chief's private space accidentally and was so mortified by it that she requested punishment. After the staff customized a map for her, however, she seems to get lost less often.
  • Rich in Dollars, Poor in Sense: As the daughter of influential Spencer family, Ariel has no concept of money. She once spent close to ten thousand DisCoins on bird food to save frail birds. Feeling deeply guilty after knowing about the difficulties it brought to the Supply Office, she voluntarily took up first-aid duties and promised to overachieve to compensate for it.
  • Wealthy Philanthropist: Coming from the Spencer family, she donated to many causes.

MBCC File ID: MBCC-S-404
Sinner Ability: Medical Care
Tendency: Catalyst
Skills: Inject, Nurse's Blessing, Medical Logistics, Tender Yet Strict
Affiliation: SALVA
Birthplace: Syndicate
Birthday: February 24
Height: 166cm
Voiced by: Liu Ruomei (CN), Haruka Shiraishi (JP), Lee Ji-yeon (KR)

The Head Nurse of SALVA Hospital in Syndicate, working alongside Dr. Iron to find a cure for Mania.
  • Beauty Equals Goodness: She's a beautiful head nurse working in one of the most dangerous places in DisCity and is always kind and polite to people.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Anne was born in Syndicate's slums, having lost her parents nine years ago to an illness that could have been treated by medicine but lacked the money for. This is also coupled with her having to take care of herself and her parents' livelihood during that time, all of which likely contributed to her wanting to go to Banyan Medical College to get a nursing degree and help people who could have helped her family. Afterwards, years later before the story begins, she volunteered at a Syndican-Eastside isolation zone to help treat her fellow Syndicans. Unfortunately, that zone ended up infecting everyone with Syndrome Mania, Anne being the only survivor because she became a Sinner. She does add how she saw everyone kill each as Corruptors and saw people dying with her own eyes no matter how hard she tried to save them, so it's no mistake that had an impact on her mind.
  • Detrimental Determination: She never stopped recording the dead patients' vital signs in SALVA's basement and was extremely stubborn on the fact that they could come back to life. It also doesn't help that she has Mania which heightens her stubbornness on why she wants to still keep the frozen Corruptors even though it'll obviously endanger the area around Syndicate.
  • Exhausted Eye Bags: Subtle, but if you look view Anne's eyes closely, you can see a bit of eye bags she has from exhaustion and insomnia during Chapter 2 and her Interrogation. During OwO's scene with Anne, she sees the eyebags and the immense fatigue on Anne's face.
  • Find the Cure!: SALVA's goal is to find a way of curing Mania. However, Anne admits to the Chief in her Special Conversation 3 that she really wonders if they can find a cure for Mania. She says even if there is at least one small hope and realizes it will be long till they find a cure for Mania, she won't give up and asks the Chief if they'll join her in finding the cure. Also in her Phase 3 Interrogation, she volunteers to be a human test subject for the MBCC to help find a cure for Mania.
  • Friend to All Children: Anne loves children, as proved by the short interaction with Ted's Sinner and her relationships with several young Sinners. At one point, unlocking one of her voice lines makes her say why children are adorable and that the Chief is like a child to protect.
    • In her Interrogations, it's revealed she was really close with a child patient named Paige. If you picked the option to attack Gary in Phase 2, it's implied Anne knocked out the Chief with anesthetic syringe to stop them, perhaps even killed the Chief too (though being a failed investigation choice, it's not canon).
    • There's also a scene with her and OwO where she takes care of the little girl and scolds her for trying to be in Syndicate alone.
  • Good Is Not Soft:
    • Gentle she may be, she doesn't hesitate to fight and protect SALVA hospital and the Chief from gangsters and enemies. When the Chief discovers the area where SALVA keeps Corrupter corpses, proving the rumors about it to be true, Anne gently tells them to back off because she doesn't want to fight them.
    • In Interrogation Phase 2, after the Chief helps her come to terms with the deaths of the people from the isolation zone by meeting a boy named Gary, she offers Gary a painless death as an option despite her implied hesitation. Pick the other option to not let him go though, then she'll stop you from hurting Gary by jabbing you with an anesthetic syringe.
  • Heroic Willpower: According to Anne's Mutation Assessment, in the Corruption State section, she is said to have a strong mental fortitude. Considering how she became a Sinner under the immense stress in the isolation zone years ago, it could be that reason since she was the only to become one and survive, although the cause for Sinners' awakenings are still unknown. Heavily implied she became a Sinner under stress than the transmission in the isolation zone.
    • In Chapter 2, compared to the Gray-Haired Girl's M-Value rising to the 1630s which is a cause for serious medical alarm, Anne's M-Value exceeded 2131 with only minor symptoms despite awakening as a Sinner in an area that had a dramatic amount of Mania transmission, which is again likely attributed to her strong willpower.
  • Hospital Hottie: Anne is an attractive adult woman, but she's more focused on work and helping patients than arousing them. Although she does have those open skins around her thighs...
    • Adding to this, OwO calls her a beautiful lady.
  • Hypocrite: When she says the reason she collects Corrupter remains was because of her Mania symptoms. Later, she denies the Chief's assumption that her hearing the voices of the dead is because of Mania and that she can really "hear" them.
  • Innocent Innuendo: Oh boy, the choices they give to you when you stargaze with Anne at the end of Interrogation Phase 3. Tell her she needs to work more in the hospital because the department is worried for her which leads to Anne teasing the Chief imitating the voices of the medical workers... or pick the choice when you tell her to give herself to you. Unexpectedly, Anne sees the innuendo and teases the Chief of their word choice and their red face.
  • Morality Pet: For Iron. Anne is so far the only person the stone-faced doctor softens up around and takes advice from without any sarcasm.
  • Moving Beyond Bereavement: Anne couldn't accept her patients dying on her to the point of freezing them to resurrect them later, especially with Paige's death. Her Interrogations are about her trying to move on from the death of Paige and the people she took care of who died.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: In Phase 3 of Anne's case, Anne realizes her belief in insisting that the dead Corruptor remains she kept can come back alive was just a selfish way to alleviate her survivor's guilt with the isolation zone incident and Paige's death.
  • Nice Girl: Just like Ariel, Anne is one of the nicest Sinners in the game. Despite being born in the Syndicate's slums, she's always polite, kind, and gentle with others, most young Sinners becoming dependent on her because of her meticulous care for them.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When OwO brags about how she could have made an awesome horror film about a crazy head nurse with (not-so-cooperative) Corruptors, Anne—a woman who loves and would protect children with her life—continues to smile, but her expression darkens in that moment as she asks if she thinks she can be in the film because she's a head nurse and how children shouldn't be in Syndicate, because Corruptors will do "horrible" stuff to them. Let's just say OwO got the message completely as she starts crying in Anne's bosom.
  • Plagued by Nightmares: One of her recurring symptoms as a Sinner is having constant nightmares aside failing psychological tests.
  • Stepford Smiler: A bit downplayed as she is a naturally nice, smiling person, but Victoria points out to Anne if she is tired of smiling all the time, which took her aback. As the Chief points out, her smiles are not of a relaxed nature most of the time but rather of a professional nature, since her job as a nurse requires her to help patients without them needing to bother with her problems.
  • Stress-Induced Mental Voices: Due to stress and a Mania hallucinations, Anne apparently hears the voice of the 89 patients from the isolation incident that caused her to become a Sinner. During Phase 1 of interrogating Anne, Chief believes it is because she is stressed out from internal struggles.
  • That Came Out Wrong: During Phase 3, when Anne says she has nothing to repay the Chief with for helping her so much, one of the choices the Chief can pick is telling her to repay themselves with her. Cue Anne asking if the Chief wants Anne to give herself to them, making the Chief go red, which she points out teasingly.
  • Thousand-Yard Stare: She gives this to you during her first Interrogation which can freak some people out... but it also shows what kind of trauma she went through as the Chief looks into her crime and backstory.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Subverted as Anne isn't evil or truly a villain but considering the look she gave when spouting gibberish about hearing voices from the dead... and the look she gives in her prison outfit.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: There is no doubt that Anne is a well-intentioned nurse who wants to do anything and everything to save her patients. Her dedication to her patients, however, means that she cannot accept the death of her patients as they become Corruptors and die. Unable to accept the fact that it is medically impossible to revive the dead, she collects and stores her "dead patients" in hope that she can revive them someday.
  • Workaholic: No one has ever seen Anne off work or without her uniform off. It's to the point that the Sinners wonder the question of "when does Anne get off work". Some moments are in the Supervision Terminal where she is sleep-deprived in a training session from doing nonstop surgeries with Dr. Iron for days. Even OwO saw her tired face when she was taking care of the young girl.

Birthplace: Eastside
Birthday: March 11

An Eastside's most mysterious perfumer.
  • Albinos Are Freaks: She's certainly this considering her looks and attitude.
  • Ambiguous Innocence: Despite how she turns her victims into perfume, she is this because she does not really comprehend what she is doing is wrong given her Freudian Excuse.
  • Anti-Villain: Given her crime of turning people into perfume, she committed quite a sin, but the only reason why she isn't fully a villain is because not only she doesn't know any better, but she is also not malicious about her actions.
  • At Least I Admit It: Averted. Part of it is because she does not know what is right from wrong due to her upbringing, but she only views her perfume-making as a noble pursuit.
  • Because I'm Good At It: Part of the reason why she couldn't stop making perfume is because that is all she is good at.
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: Due to twisted education from her adopted father referred to as the Collector and abnormal childhood, Cassia became a monster whose Blue-and-Orange Morality is her obsession with fragrance and viewing people as nothing more than fragrance ingredients.
  • Elixir of Life: Perfumes that she makes are this because she wants to create a fragrance that never fades away. Youthful immortality is just a byproduct effect for her.
  • Empty Eyes: When the Chief managed to shackle her because the latter was busy with turning her latest victim into a perfume, what they saw in Cassia's lifeless eyes was not resentment, anger, complacency, boastfulness, but rather a regret of not being able to get her latest perfume out of her latest victim. The only time her lifeless Empty Eyes are full of passion is when making perfumes.
  • Emotionless Girl: She is so emotionless that the Chief can only feel a glacial black hole through their connections from the Shackles. Cassia's only passion seems to be perfume making.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: As much as she does not seem to care about anyone else besides fragrance, even she loves one of the Collector's victims named Fleur. This is because Fleur was the first fragrance that brought her peace and thus her most precious collectible.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: It is more of Ignorant Cannot Comprehend Good but the premise still applies. This is because Cassia doesn't really comprehend why the Chief is stopping her from making perfume out of people.
  • Freudian Excuse: She is the way she is because her adopted father, referred to as the Collector, indoctrinated her to be this way.
  • Hope Spot: Not her personally, but rather one of the victims' father named Lucas. This is because as Lucas and the other victims' fathers investigated for six years, they came across a possible clue that there were perfumes that had their daughters' names. This possible clue became a certainty when before they felt ill from Mania coming from perfume testing strips, each father was able to recognize their own daughter, although it had been several years since they saw their daughters. The Hope Spot came for Lucas when only his daughter named Fleur wasn't there as a perfume, so he can only hope that no news is good news... until Interrogation Phase 3 reveals that Fleur is already dead; it wasn't Cassia who killed her, but her adopted father, the Collector.
  • Morality Chain Beyond the Grave: Subverted. It is only her emotional attachment that bound Cassia to Fleur, not morality. It, in fact, drives Cassia further into villainy because she wants to recreate Fleur's fragrance.
  • The Nose Knows: She is able to learn everything and anything from fragrance.
  • Skewed Priorities: She cared more about getting her perfume bottle back from the Chief rather than the Chief's Shackles bounding her during the arrest.
  • Smells Sexy: She herself invokes this. This is because the only thing that can overcome her bloody traumas is through good smell of perfume.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: When she passionately talks about specifics about her perfume-making process, her eyes turn glowing red.
  • Revisiting the Cold Case: Her Interrogation as a whole is this. The reasons why these cold cases weren't resolved until the Chief investigated are not only because no one had the Chief's powers and intelligence to connect the dots, but also how there are no profits in investigating or even reporting on such "mundane" cases of missing girls.
  • Super-Senses: The power that she has as a Sinner is that she has a super smell sense.
  • Villain Takes an Interest: Being an Emotionless Girl whose only passion is perfume making, she takes an interest in the Chief after smelling that their smell is solemn, warm, and firm. She even goes on to say that their smell is "clear, but rich. Light, but firm. Warm, but frigid." It is a scent that perfectly fits her perfume requirements, and yet still manages to surprise her. That is why she is certain that the Immortal Fragrance perfume that she has been trying to get for so long can be made with Chief's smell.

Affiliation: Buonanotte Toy Factory
Birthplace: Eastside
Birthday: November 3
Height: 160cm
Voiced by: Qin Ziyi (CN), Yukiyo Fujii (JP), Ga Bin (KR)

A wheelchair-bound girl who was Buonanotte Toy Factory's owner, previously owned by her deceased parents.
  • Artificial Limbs: She has prosthetic legs due to losing her legs in a car accident. However, despite the vitality of Sinners like her being more than capable of bonding to prosthetics, she can't stand up due to her lack of determination to live having faced the world's lies and darkness. It takes the Chief talking to her in Toybox Terror and her Interrogations that she shows signs of recovery.
  • A Day in the Limelight: She is the focus character of the rumored haunted toy factory in Toybox Terror.
  • Death Seeker: A spoiler itself given you can arrest her alive. At the end of Toybox Terror, it's revealed she had already gone outside the factory to see the people her family talked so much about, only to find out that they never cared in return at all and her family had been telling lies. This was enough to make her walk into the flames of the burning factory in despair, but she survives thanks to her family shielding her.
  • Lying to Protect Your Feelings: Her Character Development revolves around how she reconciles herself with lying; her family optimistically fabricated their backgrounds and dreams in the hopes they can come true just like their wishes for Eve could, and the Chief states that lies like that are better called "ideals". She then comes to understand doing this in her Interrogations, even being the one to do it when she has to lie to a child about a prosthetic replacement procedure being painless.
  • Pet the Dog: In one of her supervision events, despite being bothered and annoyed by OwO's persistance to transform her lion head, she obliges her in both choices, showing some amusement and acknowledging OwO does genuinely love her lion head.
  • When She Smiles: She shows a beautiful smile once in a while and especially around Chief as they get to know her.

A Sinner assassin who has a close relationship with two dangerous organizations: Garden and Homeless.
  • Die or Fly: When Gekkabijin was being tested by Sumire as part of Garden's test, her intense survival instinct awakened her Sinner power during her battle against Sumire. Although she was still defeated by Sumire in the test, she was still allowed to join the Garden.
  • Meaningful Name: Given how the Mentor names her assassins based on flowers, Gekkabijin's name is this as it is the Japanese flower name for Epiphyllum, which means "Beauty under the Moon", and its flower characteristics is that it only blooms at night for a single night and wilts before dawn.
  • Murder, Inc.: She is part of a Sinner assassin organization called the Garden just like Sumire and Garofano.
  • Professional Killer: She was rescued by a mysterious Sinner from the gang that tortured and abused her when she was young. Believing that a mysterious Sinner belongs to the Garden, she worships and sets her goal to be the Garden's assassin ever since. She later learns that it was actually Crache, the leader of the Homeless, who saved her and not the Garden. To show her appreciation and apology, she made and wears a Homeless badge. She, however, never lets this get in her way of becoming the number one assassin.
  • Street Urchin: As a Syndicate orphan, Gekkabijin is this.

The first recognized Sinner due to BR-001 Black Ring incident at the carnival.
  • Animal Motifs: Jellyfish is Hamel's Animal Motifs. This is because Hamel's personality fits well with a jellyfish's nature.
    • Just like how jellyfish move instinctively due to a lack of complex organs like the brain, Hamel can dance as it is second nature to her.
    • Jellyfish go with the flow in water; Hamel's passive personality makes her react to outside influence, but not much for when it comes to her own sake.
    • Jellyfish can adapt to nature to survive, just as Hamel survived out in the Rust for 23 years while containing the BR-001 Black Ring by herself.
    • Jellyfish do not actively hunt prey; Hamel does not actively seek audiences, but rather, audiences come to her instead.
    • While jellyfish may look harmless, they are actually quite dangerous due to their poisonous tentacles. Likewise, while Hamel seems like a passive beauty, she is still an S-rank Sinner for a good reason.
  • Barrier Maiden: Chapter 7 reveals she's been this for the Corpus of BR-001 for 23 years. It's only when the Chief, Hecate and Hella break through and show their resolve does she finally let the phantom carnival go.
  • Fish out of Temporal Water: She's been stuck in BR-001 for 23 years and looks just as young as when it first happened. She also feels out of place since not only DisCity has changed since then, but also how anyone she knew back then are gone now.
  • Lotus-Eater Machine: This is what her barrier achieves in order to contain the Corpus of BR-001 for 23 years. She did this not only to prevent the Mania disaster, but also to bring comfort to Mania victims who turned into Corruptors. Unlike typical examples of Lotus-Eater Machine, however, she did not form a barrier to keep humans in but rather out. This is because she knows that her dancing would not ultimately save anyone and thus kept everyone else out.
  • Master of Illusion: Her illusion power as a Sinner comes from her dancing.
  • Nice Girl: She is just a nice girl who wants to dance freely without anyone else bothering her. She is so nice that even her Phantom Shadow Jellyfish (embodiment of Hamel's most extreme and negative emotions) only caused dizziness and nausea without loss of life for the MBCC.

Sinner Ability: Nuclear Radiation
Tendency: Fury | Core Breaker
Skills: Fission, Thermonuclear Reaction, Chain Reaction, Field Interference
Affiliation:
Birthplace: Mayek
Birthday: April 27
Height: 155cm
Voiced by: Miao Jiang (CN), Sakutani Rena (JP), Park Ha-jin (KR)

The last survivor from her hometown of Mayek after a nuclear disaster. Though a literal walking disaster due to the radiation she emits, she is a shy but caring young woman.
  • Artificial Limbs Are Stronger: Her mechanical right arm is powered by nuclear energy and is canonically described as an invincible weapon.
  • Atomic Superpower: As a Sinner who is affected by the nuclear disaster, she has characteristics of nuclear power. This means that not only she does not need to eat or rest, but her strength and endurance have improved a lot as well.
  • Emotionless Girl: Contrary to what Ring Research Institute claimed, Pacassi remained calm and thus maintained a relatively low radiation level during the interrogation. Given how Ring Research Institute does shady research experiments as shown in Summer's interrogation, it is implied that Ring Research Institute did shady research experiments that upset Pacassi. Otherwise, she comes off as a cold, aloof girl because not only she is traumatized and guilt-ridden over the loss of everyone she knew, but also how she fears what her nuclear power can do to others. Now that she is safely taken care by the Chief of MBCC, however, she may able to break free from her "past" and move on with her life.
  • Inciting Incident: Nuclear Restriction Pact that was signed by survivors that ban all nuclear technology including power plants is Inciting Incident behind the nuclear disaster in the town of Mayek. This is because after the ban on nuclear technology, the knowhow of maintaining the nuclear plant deteriorated.
  • Last of Her Kind: This is subverted by the fact that before Mayek turned uninhabitable after a nuclear disaster, many people from Mayek already moved to DisCity as the town was not able to safely and reliably provide power during winter. As shown in Pacassi's last interrogation, the Chief took her around the DisCity to not only show how former residents of Mayek like Boris, Victoria, Nastia, and Leroy are faring well in their new life in DisCity, but also how the Chief opened the Mayek Museum with items from Mayek like a reactor core, levers, and even the broadcasting station to honor Mayek's history. Despite how she is not technically Last of Her Kind since there are still former residents alive, she is the last known person from Mayek.
  • Mike Nelson, Destroyer of Worlds: Because of her... 'unique' Sinner powers, Pacassi puts everyone near her in danger whether she is aware of it or not, and thanks to the fact she has a great deal of resistance to the radiation herself she's usually only able perceive the damage she's caused once it's too late to do anything about it.
  • Walking Wasteland: Pacassi is a walking Chernobyl waiting to happen. Even in a state of calm, she puts out 1986 Roentgen, when anything over 400 is lethalnote . The Chief has to wear a protective suit just to interview her.

  • Animal Motif: Snake is Serpent's Animal Motif. Not only she looks like a snake with her sharp looks, but also how she performs her circus acts with a snake.
  • A Day in the Limelight: She is the antagonist of the Dreamy Bubble event.
  • Meaningful Name: Given her snake-like nature and her skill as a snake handler, her name as Serpent suits her well.

One of top assassins of the Garden who disguised herself as an ikebana artist.
  • The Ace: Sumire is the best assassin in all of Garden, second only to it's leader, the Mentor. As of Chapter 12 though, she becomes a Broken Ace, when the Chief fell into coma after Chapter 12, now making use of her skills to hunt down everyone responsible. Luckily, she goes back to being an Ace once the Chief does wake up from their coma.
  • Adoptive Name Change: "Sumire" is not her real name as it is the adoptive name given by her Mentor. Her real name is Nana.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: The reason why Sumire pulled a Heel–Face Turn in the first place is due to her Undying Loyalty towards the Chief. This is because as a Sinner, she suffered from the typical symptom of hallucinations that haunted her. Her hallucinations, however, disappeared when she was approaching the Chief in order to assassinate them and this caused her to miss the opportunity, which in turn allowed her to observe the Chief. She came to learn that they are not a bad person who is stubborn or blind as not only do they constantly wonder if they are doing the right thing, but also never force their Sinners to be puppets who only carry out orders. Knowing this, Sumire could no longer bring herself to assassinate them. Her loyalty to the Chief has grown to the point that even her Mentor's statement of how the Chief will betray her someday does not deter her.
  • Behind Every Great Man: Her second passive skill, Flower Silhouette, lets her gain an additional damage bonus to enemies if an ally is in the grid ahead of her.
  • Heartbroken Badass: By the time Rahu encounters her in Rain Burst, she sounds and looks sad while in a near-constant state of Tranquil Fury. Even with all that, she's still Coquelic's best student, executing her targets with no problems behind her back unlike Garofano and Thistle.
  • Heel–Face Turn: She refused to kill the Chief when the assassination order came from the organization. She even delayed her organization's assassination attempt on the Chief by fending assassins from her organization off.
  • Meaningful Name: Given how the Mentor names her assassins based on flowers, her adoptive name Sumire is this as it is japanese word for flower called viola mandshurica. Her kimono also has the viola's color.
  • Murder, Inc.: The Sinner Assassin organization called The Garden that she used to be in is this.
  • Parasol of Pain: Sumire, the embodiment of Japanese beauty, carries a Japanese-style umbrella that fits her as a Parasol of Prettiness... but her targets would already be dead by the time they've realized it's actually a parasol of metal.
  • Professional Killer: She is formerly a part of the Garden, an organization of professional Sinner assassins who can kill targets without authorities realizing that the assassination has happened. Even after quitting, as revealed in her Interrogation, she's still got the skills to stave off every one of the Garden's attempts on the Chief without killing her former comrades, all without the Chief knowing.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Undergoes this as the Chief goes into a coma. It's to the point that she and Garofano willingly go back to the Garden for help on finding the targets responsible for Chief's coma and finding out who was in charge of the order to destroy the Garden, which Garofano was more into the latter.
  • Vengeance Feels Empty: Feels this after executing everyone who was responsible for the Chief's coma, asking Coquelic how her heart still has not been quelled. Coquelic replies that what Sumire is feeling is not vengeance but rather pain; this is because she was living a good life alongside the Chief until some unknown culprit took them away, so she's merely lashing out in pain rather than actually taking steps to take revenge on the true culprit. It takes advice and encouragement from her mentor after does she get out of her funk.
  • Yamato Nadeshiko: Her graceful looks and attitudes are the embodiment of Japanese beauty.

A famous Eastside plastic surgeon who runs a mysterious underground clinic.
  • Always Identical Twins: She has an older twin sister named Luna who looks just like her. That is just on the outside though as according to Uni herself, Luna is a swan while Uni is an ugly duckling who tries to mimic the former.
  • Big Sister Instinct: On the receiving end. Luna protected her younger twin sister Uni when three bullies tried to slander Uni for cheating on the test when Uni passed her test honestly while the bullies were the ones who actually cheated and got caught by the teacher.
  • Child Hater: Implied in her supervision events where it says she cannot get along with any young Sinners to the point they are not allowed to go within ten meters around her.
  • Evil Twin: While Luna grows up to be a mature woman, Uni turns into Yandere who becomes too attached to her older twin sister.
  • Finishing Each Other's Sentences: As a twin to another, she states that they were capable of this as they not only share looks, but also thoughts. This isn't the case anymore as they mentally developed to be different persons. The Chief, however, managed to achieve this by shackling Uni, which allows their thoughts to be mutually shared.
  • Magic Plastic Surgery: Her power as a Sinner allows her to perform cosmetic surgery.
  • The Mirror Shows Your True Self: The way her Magic Plastic Surgery actually works is that her mirror reflects what her clients want to look like, then she just makes what is reflected in the mirror a reality. So when the Chief states that they can only see their own reflection, the surgeon is shocked at first but delighted. This is because Uni believes that she has finally found a "blank canvas" that is the "missing piece of her puzzle". That puzzle turns out to be using the Chief's eyes as one of the body parts to "bring back" Luna from the Uni's mirror world.
  • Yandere: She grew up to be this as she became so attached to Luna that she disfigured her own twin sister during a heated argument even if it was just an accident. Uni grows attached to the Chief's eyes as well for having eyes similar to Luna's that see Uni for the person she is.
