One of Eastside's most influential filmmakers in the industry. In her powerful ability to turn her imagination into reality, she was responsible for the BlockBuster Film Industry Incident by causing severe property damage and large-scale disasters to the DisCars and all of Eastside.
  • Celebrity Is Overrated: Crowds of fans, reporters, and distributors flock to her whenever she gets spotted in public. Bombarded with questions, flashing cameras and microphones being shoved at her at every second — it's no wonder she agreed to be detained by the MBCC.
  • Imagination-Based Superpower: Has the ability to turn what she imagines into reality. She can turn scripts into weapons just by imagining it, and even acquire a close approximation of the abilities of a superhero just by simply picturing herself as that superhero.
  • Lazy Bum: Initially appeared in the story like this. Often seen relaxing and sleeping even when important moments are at hand. The reason for this? She and the Chief worked all night to plan everything behind the scenes—without getting caught by OwO.
  • Loved by All: The majority of Eastside praise her for her filmmaking artistry. Her success was celebrated by all, but the countless acclaims and fame she received mean nothing but flattering labels.

Skills: Throw, Game Master, Accelerate Operation, Game Rules
Affiliation: Independent
Birthplace: Eastside
Birthday: June 18
Height: 169 cm

The owner of a mysterious board game shop in Eastside, well-known among local board game lovers.
  • Abusive Parents: Etti's parents almost never visited their daughter since they had no intention to raise her due to how her birth was accidental. Thankfully, Etti's grandfather was a Doting Grandparent.
  • Arch-Enemy: Played for a laugh. EMP began to see Etti as Arch-Enemy since the latter began to break the records of many games on the communal game console in the Recreation Area a week after the latter arrived.
  • Black Mage: Played with. At first glance, Etti seems to be a Sinner who is focused on raw damage output as her Ultimate, Game Master, is all about creating a Constellation in the target area and forming Celestial Bodies to continuously attack random enemies within range. Even her first passive called Accelerate Operation buffs her attack even more as whenever Etti's initial attribute is triggered, not only does her attack speed increase, but she can also cast extra Celestial Body (up to 4) next time using Game Master. The effect, however, will be removed after she casts Game Master once. It is only her second passive called Game Rules that provides buffs rather than raw damage as each enemy has a 5% probability of generating a Gem after they die throughout the battle. A Sinner can gain a buff for 12 seconds after stopping for a moment to pick up the three differently colored Gems.
    • Red Gem increases attack speed.
    • Green Gem reduces damage.
    • Blue Gem increases magic damage.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: According to one serving term, Etti is able to quickly get along with everyone in the Bureau and adjusts well to life under detention thanks to her outgoing and witty personality, her extremely whimsical and active mind also makes it hard for many to match her tempo during conversations.
  • Control Freak: She has an obsession with rules and control when playing Tabletop RPG, with the Dragon & Isle of Sky event revolving around the Chief going against her game narrative. After the arrest, Etti slowly learns to become less obsessed with rules, control, and the excessive urge to escape reality thanks to spending more time with other Sinners and Chief, becoming more trusting and approving towards real life, herself, and the people around her.
  • Doting Grandparent: Given how her parents had no intention of raising her since her birth was accidental, only her grandfather dotes on her. In fact, when Etti began to immerse herself in books and games instead because of her unsociability and loneliness due to lack of parental care and other factors, her grandfather studied her hobby and turned their home into various game scenes with decorations to not only cheer her up but also guide her out of her trauma. Is it really a surprise that Etti still has a strong bond with her grandfather even after he passed away?
  • Game Master: Her power as a Sinner allows her to be a Game Master who controls and manages the "game" as she desires. In particular, it comes from being GM of a Tabletop RPG called "Dragon & Isle of Sky".
  • Trademark Favorite Food: It is revealed in a mini-game event called Candy Party that she likes pumpkin candies because she and her grandpa used to eat them when playing a board game called "All Souls' Night".
  • Tragic Keepsake: After her grandfather passed away, she kept an unfinished rulebook of game that they used to play together. It is revealed in her last interrogation that her grandfather hid a letter in a hidden compartment at the end of the rulebook, which says that he hopes Etti had fun playing his game with trusty friends by her side, because if that is the case, Etti can safely tuck him away into the deepest, darkest corner of her heart where he will guard her against fear and loneliness—until she turns all the darkness into joy.

Danger Rating: A
MBCC File ID: MBCC-S-462
Sinner Ability: Guiding Safelight
Tendency: Catalyst
Skills: "Sleepwalking", Somber Light, United As One, Mysterious Alley
Affiliation: Devonshire Family
Birthplace: Eastside
Birthday: December 27
Height: 157 cm
Voiced by: (CN), Hitomi Owada (JP)

Heiress to the Devonshires, a business tycoon family in Eastside. Though an elegant person, she has repeatedly caused panics with her whimsical excursions at night, being the true identity of the Lantern Ghost of Sloane Street.
  • Intangibility: Her power as a Sinner not only reveals an exit path in the fog (albeit only visible to her), but also allows her and a small number of companions to go through walls and reach the exit.
  • Lady of Adventure: Letta may be from a rich household's heiress where her restrictive parents tailored a personal Growth Plan for her to follow, but she personally wants to seek out her own adventure outside. Even when most of the various strange attractions are proven to be inaccurate, she does not seem to regret her selection of location as long as she is having an adventure.
  • The Prankster: Letta is a mischievous girl who tries a few practical jokes including but not limited to following people with the lantern, tapping them on the shoulder, and appearing suddenly from the wall, etc. Thanks to Chief's counseling, however, she is gradually redirecting her energy to normal social activities and hobbies and no longer poses a threat of stirring up public panic.
  • Will-o'-the-Wisp: The lantern embedded with Hypercubes that she used in order to sneak out at night in order to have fun before she awakened as a Sinner is this.

Danger Rating: S
MBCC File ID: MBCC-S-074
Sinner Ability: Crimson Poetry
Tendency: Arcane
Skills: Feather Fall, Stanza, Rhyme, Elegy
Affiliation: Yagyu (formerly)
Birthplace: Syndicate
Birthday: October 7
Height: 173 cm
Voiced by: Zhang Ruoyu (CN), Yuko Kaida (JP)

A writer who used to work part-time for Yagyu, managing their lackluster social media account. She now spreads false information both online and in tabloids as she wantonly distorted facts, made inflammatory remarks, and fed her readers large amounts of disinformation.
  • Animal Motifs: The raven; just like how Raven views herself as an intellectual, the raven is one of the most intelligent animals.
  • Child Soldiers: Crache accuses Raven of raising children to be such in her Syndicate Academy, having spied on a Rustfire member talking about how the children that Raven is teaching will become the best Rustfire warriors of the future. The issue is bit more complex. While Raven claims that she didn't create the school to trick children into fighting, it can be hard to believe her given her history of writing false information that is distorted, inflammatory, and disinformative as long as the end justifies the means. It should, however, be noted that she may not have a choice in the matter as getting enough supplies for the children in the Syndicate would be impossible except for Rustfire. That is why the only way Raven could get Rustfire to provide supplies is to "raise" soldiers for Rustfire.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: No pun intended. Raven's first mention happens at the beginning of Chapter 9 when a black raven is telling the man in a wheelchair about the Chief. While the identity of the man in a wheelchair would not be revealed until the end of Chapter 9 as he introduces himself as Julien to the Chief, players would not see Raven yet since Julien only called the person who is contacting him through the black raven as "Raye" (which turns out to be Raven's real name). Raven's first appearance on-screen is when the Executive Officer infiltrates Julien's Senior Management Hidden Office at Drifter Camp; after talking to herself about how Julien shouldn't pin his hopes on the Chief as they are not the future but phantoms of the past, the Executive Officer summons a black raven, which only Raye, a.k.a. Raven, is able to do. It is not until Chapter 11 that Raven actually meets the Chief in person.
  • Friend to All Children: While Crache would disagree with her suspicions of Raven raising Child Soldiers in her Syndicate Academy, she, general craziness aside, is obsessed with children (not that it endears her to the younger Sinners, who all get spooked instead).
    • She states once she gets famous in Eastside, she wants to open a school for children and she doesn't like it that Hecate and Hella are in the battlefield.
    • One serving term remarks that Raven pays extra attention to Homeless (a group of children in the Syndicate that Crache is in charge of).
    • Another serving term has Raven requesting that young Sinners should be taught poetry, but this was only rejected because the Bureau thought that it would be more appropriate to start with basic literacy and language skills first.
  • Meaningful Name: Played With. While she acts like a poet, her actual skills are subpar, and despite how she views herself as a writer, she is responsible for writing false information that is... questionable in many ways. It might be played straight seeing as her raven's nature is more street smart as a capable undercover agent, just like how real ravens are street-savvy scavengers. It also goes without saying that her Sinner powers manifest as ravens.
  • Pen Name: Raven is her pen name. Her real name is Raye.
  • Stylistic Suck: Despite a serving term noting her poetry isn't any good, she still likes making them for the Chief and plans to find the right moment to recite an entire notebook's worth to the Chief... in front of everyone at the Bureau.
