The Foundation

     "Justin"

An unlucky Foundation guard who had ended up the only human survivor of the site after 001's emergence, with only SCP's for company, particularly SCP-049. Now he spends most of his days going through the complete declassified files on all the SCP's the Foundation has contained over the years in an effort to find out what exactly the "Spiral Gestalt" given to him by a D-class named Ben is.

  • Anti-Hero: Considering he works for the SCP Foundation, it's to be expected. It's implied in the first chapter that he treats the D-class as well as most Foundation staff do and his interaction with a Serpent’s Hand member reveals he is a firm believer of necessary evils, however like the Foundation his goal is to protect humanity, even after the sun "Broke". Also despite forcing a D-class to accompany him to allow SCP-079 to gain control of the site's security system he asks him what's his name at which point he tells him his name and when the D-class is taken away by SCP-001-A he feels remorseful for not saving him.
  • Ambiguously Bi: He displays clear attraction towards women on several points, but he's also noticeably flustered by I.M.P. teasing about being in the closet and at one point implies he considers Moxxie cute while under the influence of succubus magic.
  • Achievements in Ignorance: Justin at one point accidentally uses SCP-185 to breach Hell's radio waves and contact Alastor, a feat the broadcaster remarks should only be possible using demonic magic of his caliber, and leading him to mistake the Foundation guard for a powerful up-and-coming sinner.
  • Cassandra Truth: At first I.M.P. doesn't believe Justin when he tries to tell them about the end of the world, assuming that he's simply gone crazy from spending too much time alone in a lab full of monsters. This doesn't last for long as Loona mentions her dream about SCP-990 is able to plant doubts in their heads. Any disbelief that remains vanishes once SCP-079 plays recorded footage of the Broken sun's effect.
  • Closest Thing We Got: Justin has access to some of the most dangerous SCP's still in containment as a part of his entourage, as well as: full control of a Containment Site, a stocked arsenal of weapons, and access to high-level Containment files. Before the Sun broke, he was just a guard.
  • Combat Clairvoyance: Justin subconsciously uses the Spiral Gestalt to perform this during his hostile first encounter with I.M.P, fending them all off at once and taking Millie hostage.
  • Empowered Badass Normal: Justin mentions that he was once a member of a Mobile Task Force (Albeit one that apparently only had one mission before being moved to guard duty over a bad mistake in SCP-3008), and thanks to the Spiral Gestalt he's now capable of Retroactive Precognition and has some sort of mysterious capacity for the magic found in Stolas's grimoire.
  • Enemy Mine: Justin (as a member of The Foundation) and I.M.P. (as a group of demonic assassins who kill on behalf of sinners) would very much be enemies under normal circumstances. But after they all learn that Loona received a vision from 990 (Who's prophecies are always meant to aid the Foundation in some way) that 001 is going to eventually manifest in Hell somehow, he decides to join them as a Guest-Star Party Member.
    • He's also given SCP-049 (Who at one point scornfully notes has killed several of his friends among the Foundation's guards) permission to study captured 001-A instances, in the slim chance he figures out anything about what caused the sun to break.
    • The elder of the Pillow Tribe, a Serpents Hand member, suggests that to Justin they could use this opportunity to bury the hatchet between their respective groups, but they both solemnly acknowledge there's likely far too much animosity on both sides for It to last.
  • Friend to Psychos: Surprisingly apt at staying in the good graces of various typically hostile SCP's, implied to be because the Spiral Gestalt is subtly compelling him to act in ways they find endearing.
  • Go Mad from the Isolation: He holds himself together fairly well, but It's clear spending three months alone and being convinced the rest of humanity is dead has left some significant bruises on Justin's social skills and foresight.
  • Heroic Host: Implied & justified: Justin became the host of the Spiral Gestalt, though he has little to no idea how to use the powers it bestows him aside from using Mental Time Travel when he dies or fails horribly at something.
  • Odd Friendship: Out of all of I.M.P, the one Justin gets along with the most is Loona. Stemming primarily from saving her life when she was under the influence of SCP-012.
  • Only Sane Man: As he's much more grounded in reality than both his new demonic cohorts and SCP-049, he's often forced to play this.
  • Save Scumming: Justin is now the host D-9341's Spiral Gestalt, allowing him to mark a moment in time that he can return either at will or upon death. He only becomes aware of this ability during the group's exploration in the Infinite Ikea, when after getting ambushed by a gang of SCP-001-A instances, he resets time to right before the attack and kills them all. Before that, this is indicated by Justin knowing instinctively knowing how to avoid getting killed (Such as ducking when Millie attacked him with a knife or knowing not to put SCP-185 through SCP-914 on the "Very Fine" setting), or the phrase redredred appearing in the text.
  • Seen It All: Befitting the organization he worked for before the world ended, Justin takes I.M.P. confirming that Hell is real in stride.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Out of all I.M.P Blitzo is the one Justin has the most trouble getting along with, blaming him for them getting involved with SCP-001 and at one point shooting him in the head in a short-sighted attempt to destroy the Spiral Gestalt. Likewise, Justin is much more distrustful and aggressive with him than he is with Loona, Moxxie, or Millie.
  • Token Good Teammate: To he, I.M.P. and Stolas's alliance. Justin does work for the SCP Foundation, but he's shown generally to be a decent man outside of a dislike for admitting his employer's questionable ethics.
  • The Faceless: Curiously, no physical description of Justin is given in the narrative. Though Word of God mentions his lack of a last name is intentional and there is some art of him.
  • Worf Had the Flu: For a Foundation operative (a position that demands being Properly Paranoid) Justin displays rather poor foresight at times, with one example being his failure to warn Stolas and Octavia about 1048. It's implied to stem from his skills atrophying severely from isolation and despair-induced Sanity Slippage.

Scientists

     Dr. Alto Clef

    Dr. Jack Bright
  • Big Good: Shares the role with the Dream Man, as he's pulling every string he can on his side to help the others in their endeavor of saving humanity.
  • Body Snatcher: His nature as an SCP. His consciousness is stored in SCP-963, a medallion, and any who wear it get their minds erased and replaced with Bright's. He uses this to snatch one of the Chaos Insurgency goons bodies during their raid of the facility the other SCP's are in.
  • Broken Pedestal: He once had Undying Loyalty for the Foundation, but ever since the higher-ups approved Procedure 110-Montauk he has turned a bit rebellious, hiding the fact that Justin has become the new host of the Spiral Gestalt from the O5 council.
  • Me's a Crowd: Bright's consciousness can be imprinted on multiple bodies at the same time, though it's normally frowned upon to do so. Due to the circumstances, there's now an entire squad of Brights working together on the SCP-2000 project. No one is happy with this.
  • Mysterious Backer: Is playing this role for Justin and I.M.P, keeping their activities a secret from the O5 Council, and even sending SCP-5000 to them.
  • Psychopathic Manchild: He remains very competent in spite of it, But Bright still does things like refer to the O5 council by childishly crude nicknames or demand a pet monkey in the middle of the apocalypse.

    Dr. Charles Gears

SCPs

    In general
  • Dark and Troubled Past: The existence of some anomalies paints a picture of the history of the OHBD universe, and from the many seen throughout the fic it's safe to assume a lot has happened

    Ben/D- 9341

     001

Tropes pertaining to all 001 proposals

  • There Is Another: Currently there are 3 SCP-001 proposals confirmed to be in the story; When Day Breaks, The Gate Guardian, and the Scarlet King.

Tropes pertaining to The Broken Sun

  • Arch-Enemy: The Foundation understandably hates it for destroying their home.
  • Adaptational Backstory Change: In contrast to its totally inexplicable emergence in the source article. several hints have been given that something is guiding the 001-A instances.
  • Big Bad: Finding a way to put it down has become the Foundation's top priority, learning it's going to do to Hell what it did to Earth is what kickstarts I.M.P's Heel–Face Turn and the decision to team up with Justin.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Victims of the Broken Sun still retain their personality, despite the horrific transformation, and will do everything they can to drag others into the light.

Tropes pertaining to The Gate Guardian

  • Gate Guardian: It's literally the namesake of this trope, and does a good job at it keeping the sunlight at bay.
  • Real After All: In the fic, Clef originally intended to make up Uriel, the Gate Guardian, to cover up the existence of the intended SCP-001 (the Scarlet King) out of drunken spite to the 05 Council, so in his mind, it shouldn't be real. You can imagine his surprise in Chapter 11.

Tropes pertaining to The Scarlet King

  • Always a Bigger Fish: The Scarlet King is aware of Lucifer's existence, but considers him to be largely a non-threat in the grand scheme of things.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: While the Broken Sun is the main, overarching threat of the story, the presence of the Scarlet King's followers in Hell imply that its merely a small part of something greater with the Scarlet King. Though the sun breaking was not caused by it.

     008

Zombie Plague

  • Horror Hunger: Victims feel the urge to feed constantly, but are never satiated.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Word of God states that while Stolas' magic might be slowing the spread of the disease inside him, it's also further enhancing it, to the point of transforming the Goetia into something akin to a Resident Evil boss.
  • Zombie Apocalypse: If SCP-2305 is to be believed, there is a possibility for Stolas and Octavia to spread the plague into hell itself.

     012

A Bad Composition

  • Brown Note: A perennial example of the Foundation's many cognitohazards. Loona is compelled to complete it at the cost of her own life, and is barely saved by Justin and Blitzo.
  • Driven to Suicide: Encourages whoever sees it to finish the composition with their own blood, as Loona and IMP find out.

     035

Possessive Mask

  • Adaptation Origin Connection: It's implied he's the creator of the Grimoire, or at the very least owned an earlier copy of it. He wants it back.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Is it ever. It continuously manipulates everyone around it to achieve its goals. It gets Stolas and Octavia infected with the 008 prion and invites Chaos Insurgency goons to the facility all in order to obtain the Grimoire.
  • Spanner in the Works: Everything that starts to go wrong in the facility once Justin and IMP leave can be traced back to it's machinations.
  • Villainous Breakdown: He doesn't take it well when 5031 steals the Grimoire, falling into a profanity-laden raging rant.

     049

Plague Doctor

  • Adaptational Heroism: In comparison to SCP ILLUSTRATED's When Day Breaks series (which this fic routinely quotes and borrows a few elements from). In that story, 049 was presented as the ruthless leader of the 049-2 instances who spent his time hunting down a surviving Foundation engineer and even had a particularly nasty Kick the Dog monument towards one of the 131 twins. Here the Mad Doctor has gained a Morality Pet in the form of Justin and does his best to keep the guard alive and provide moral support.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He's still the dangerously amoral and possibly delusional plague doctor we know and love, but he takes the truce with Justin seriously and does his best to protect those under his care.

     055

unknown/The Anti-Meme

  • Beneath Notice: It's an extremely powerful anti-memetic object, meaning that most people can barely remember it exists before forgetting a few seconds later. Bright has to word his sentences carefully just to keep Clef on track while discussing it. It's for that reason that he uses the SCP on 5000 in order to recreate the Perception Filter.

     066

Eric's Toy

     079

Old AI

  • Enemy Mine: It is collaborating with Dr. Bright, something the doctor wants it to keep under wraps.
  • Godzilla Threshold: It's the one being maintaining the site's security, and ensuring that the other SCP's don't kill Justin and the others.
  • Jerkass to One: Not the most sociable of entities, it did once hold a desire to destroy humanity after all. That said, it's playing nice with the others. Except for SCP-185, who it expresses constant annoyance with.
  • Mission Control: It's playing this role for everyone in the Site, being the only one with access to the databases and systems of the Foundation.
  • Voice with an Internet Connection: In this case, is now in the internet, as of Chapter 15, 079 has connected to Octavia's cellphone, which has a connection to Hell's internet even on Earth. And considering the Foundation originally kept 079 away from the internet, this might not bode well in the future.

     087

The Stairwell

  • Horrifying the Horror: On both the giving and the receiving end: Coming face to face with it causes Alastor to feel genuine terror for the first time in years, but Charlie going into her One-Winged Angel form and threatening it causes the staircase to slam its door shut and disappear.
  • Supernatural Fear Inducer: It's implied to have somehow gained an ability to this effect. Angel notes that a chalk-white face with pupilless eyes is far from the worst thing he's seen in Hell, yet he was still utterly terrified of it, while Alastor later notes that looking at the face made it hard for him to think about anything but being afraid of it.

     096

The Shy Guy

  • Berserk Button: That what happens to the person that sees its face.
  • The Cameo: 096 has only made a few small "appearances" to date in this story:
    • First cameo, or mention in this case, was in chapter 2 after the sun broke when Justin, an unnamed researcher, and a certain D-class were in the security room looking through the cameras to get a better idea of what to do next, Justin turned off the camera before it could appear on the screen.
    • Second cameo, is in Chapter 7 when audio of its crying was heard through the monitor, and Justin explains that 096 holed itself up in that section.
    • Third cameo was in chapter 13 when Stolas accidentally made a Chaos Insurgency member look at its face, Stolas and Octavia through some miracle never saw its face.

     106

The Old Man

    131-A and B

The "Eye Pods"

  • Big Damn Heroes: They save Moxxie from a nasty encounter with 173.
  • Ridiculously Cute Critter: So cute they manage to endear themselves to I.M.P, especially Millie and Moxie.
  • Tag Along Kid: Due to their imprinting behaviour, they end up following Justin and friends into 3008.

     173

The Sculpture

  • Big Damn Heroes: 173, of all beings, is the one that saves Justin when his first attempt to escape the facility fails, dragging him back inside without killing him.
  • Can't Kill You, Still Need You: It has seized its murderous tendencies, at least when it comes to Justin, thanks to the truce 049 and 079 are enforcing.
  • Troll: That said, it still wanders the facility scaring the crap out of everyone. Justin believes this is the reason why it hasn't killed him yet: it needs someone to entertain itself with.

     185

The Radio

  • Grew Beyond Their Programming: At first an inanimate, but anomalous radio, Justin putting it through 914 upgraded its capabilities to the point of having achieved some level of sentience, communicating by playing music and transmissions with context appropriate lyrics.

     343

"God"

  • Ambiguously Related: Whether or not he's the same God as the one who created Lucifer. On one hand, he certainly seems to think that he is and displays an uncanny knowledge about Lucifer's life and habits, on the other, he doesn't seem aware of Charlie's existence.

     662

Mr. Deeds

  • Battle Butler: Played With. Mr. Deeds, while capable of combat, hasn't been doing much fighting in story, instead sticking to investigating Foundation sites for SCP's and helping Bright with his plans.
  • Butlerspace: A handy ability when traveling normally is impossible. Mr. Deeds can teleport anywhere necessary, and disappear just as quickly.
  • The Mole: In a sense. He's been infiltrating Foundation sites in order to catalogue SC Ps under Dr. Bright's orders, all under the O5 Council's notice.

     682

Hard-to-destroy Reptile

  • Morton's Fork: In its current situation. It can either try to make a breakout attempt and test whether its healing factor protects it from the light, or it stays with the humans it hates. It can't kill them either, as that would be saving them from the light, and it hates them too much to allow that. Whichever option it takes, it loses.

     939

Of Many Voices

  • Voice Changeling: They can perfectly imitate the voices of people for the purpose of luring them towards them.
  • Wild Card: They are ultimately wild, if violent, predators, and only show allegiance to 079 for the promise of food (despite the fact that they biologically don't need food).

     963

Immortality/Dr. Bright's signature amulet

  • Brain Theft: Its main ability is whoever touches or wears 963 directly the victim's consciousness will be replaced with Dr. Bright's consciousness.
  • Made of Indestructium: It's also virtually indestructible (much to Bright's dismay).
  • Malicious Misnaming: Dr. Bright really dislikes being referred by the designation number directly.

     990

Dream Man

  • Big Good: He's the most helpful ally of the main group so far, doing everything in his power to warn Loona and Husk of the coming disaster so they can save Hell from 001.
  • Good Is Not Nice: He apparently thought the best way to inform Loona of 001's threat was a horrifically traumatic vision of her home undergoing an apocalypse and her adoptive father deformed into a brainwashed sludge monster.
  • Dreaming of Things to Come: How he warns people of upcoming disasters, with him usually present, seated on a bench.

     999

The Tickle Monster

  • Affectionate Nickname: Lilith calls it Candy.
  • Anti Anti Christ: It's one of the Scarlet King's children, but is the furthest thing from evil you could possibly imagine.
  • Badass Adorable: It's implied 999's happiness-inducing powers made Lucifer come closer to feeling genuine regret for his betrayal than God himself had managed to do over uncounted eons.
  • Cuddle Bug: As always, 999 loves to give hugs.

     1048

Builder Bear

     1337

The Hitchhiker

  • Body Horror: The mutilation she's gone through and now shows as part of her Jacob Marley Apparel is lovingly described, thanks to Angel getting a surprise close up of her.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: The cab she was going to take runs off before she gets on. Her response is to kill the driver and cause a massive crash, running over several sinners in the process.

    1471-A

MalO

  • Female Monster Surprise: Refers to herself with female pronouns in one of her messages.
  • Guardian Entity: She becomes this to Vortex once Loona accidentally sends her too him, brutally slaughtering three people trying to capture him.
"ALERT: Ma Lo doesn't like bullies! :("
  • Non-Malicious Monster: She's as creepy as ever, and being upgraded by 914 has allowed her to interact with the physical world in a far more brutal manner, but she still wants to be your friend, and wants to protect whoever she's shared with.
  • Took a Level in Badass: The app being run through 914 has upgraded SCP-1471-A from an incorporeal Stalker without a Crush who mostly just scared people, to a Guardian Entity who can now affect the material plane. Brutally.

     1499

The Gas Mask

  • Blind Jump: Where the gas mask takes the characters is impossible to tell for them, but it's useful when the unknown is a better alternative then dying. It's actually teleporting the demons back down to Hell, not that they are able to tell.

    1879- 2

The Salesman

  • Deal with the Devil: Manages this with Lucifer himself, forcing him to accept 999, and also allow entry for other SCP's into Hell. Why he's done this is unknown.
  • Did You Just Scam Cthulhu?: See above, just by being his usual annoying self.
  • Hellseeker: The reason for the above was so he and his boss could escape Daybreak.

     1981

"RONALD REGEAN/CHARLIE MAGNE CUT UP WHILE TALKING/SIGNING"

  • Ambiguous Situation: SCP-1981-1 is not mentioned to appear in the tape, making its involvement with the change unknown.
  • Body Horror: The injuries dealt to Charlie are unpleasant, to say the least.
  • Dissonant Serenity: It has altered a recording of Charlie's "Inside Every Demon is a Rainbow" song, and like its previous incarnation, the recording of Charlie continues to cheerfully sing, even as her body is mutilated and her song is corrupted.
  • Shapeshifter: While in Foundation custody, the SCP took the form of a Betamax VHS tape. In hell, it has somehow transformed itself into a CD and changed its contents to boot.

     2000

Deus Ex Machina

     2305

great ideas that are TOTALY USELESS (lulz)

  • Futureshadowing: When Octavia opens the app, the first prediction it gives involves her and Stolas getting infected with 008, and then spreading it into hell itself. While she averts herself from becoming completely infected, the rest of the prediction doesn't bode well.

     3008

A Perfectly Normal, Regular Old IKEA

  • Alien Geometries: As expected, the IKEA is literally infinite. Blitzø is shocked to note that the place has a horizon.
  • Unsafe Haven: Outside of the Staff, the anomalous zone is deep enough inside that the light can't reach it, keeping the residents largely protected from the Broken Sun. Until the emergency exit door is finally opened, that is...

     5000

The Absolute Exclusion Harness/Why?

  • Alternate Timeline: That's where it came from, an alternate timeline where the Foundation started killing the entirety of the human race with various SCPS because according to !!SCP ILLUSTRATED of a malevolent entity found inhabiting it, giving us the ability to feel pain and emotions, while it supposedly feeds off sin and evil. Also stated that it had plans so horrible to humanity that death was a mercy in comparison, what that plan is unknown. Though whatever happened to the afterlife in that timeline still needs to be shown.
  • Always a Bigger Fish: Pietro may have saved the human race from extermination but this means that the malevolent entity that lives in the human psychospace is still active and undiscovered. How it got there is unknown but theories from readers say that it could most likely have unknowingly gotten there when Lucifer tried to prove to God/343 that his greatest creation (humans) are corruptible, in other words, Lucifer proved himself right too well too late.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: The fact that it's here states that the events of SCP-5000's original timeline have occurred in this universe before Pietro Wilson reset reality to stop the Foundation from wiping out all of humanity.
  • History Repeats: (In a matter of speaking) SCP-5000 plays the role again of assisting and protecting its wearer, Justin in this case, from danger in a post-apocalyptic end-of-the-world scenario, just like with Pietro before.
  • Perception Filter: Part of its set is the ability to make itself unperceivable to others, but that mechanic was broken when the Foundation found it. Bright manages to brute force a workaround by somehow attaching 055 to it.
  • Powered Armor: One from another version of the Foundation universe. Comes complete with a Cognitohazard deterrent system, a Perception Filter, and other nifty functions that have yet to be revealed.

     5031

Yet Another Murder Monster

  • Big Damn Heroes: It saves Stolas and Octavia multiple times, attacking Chaos Insurgency goons with its bowling ball, and stealing the grimoire from 035 before it can get its hands on them.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: It's normally not violent, but the Chaos Insurgencies invasion has put it on edge enough for it to willingly attack humans.

     5370

Chessland

  • Small Role, Big Impact: It has only been mentioned in conversation a few times, but anyone aware of the nature of 5370 as an Artificial Afterlife for all Foundation personnel will understand it's the reason why there is no sign of them in Hell.
    • Which also explains why there are no former D-Class sinners in Hell trying to expose the Foundation.

Hell

I.M.P.

     In General
  • Adaptational Heroism: It's ... slow-going. But getting dragged into the conflict with 001 and forced to work with Justin to survive has led to some of them reconsidering their Comedic Sociopathy and gradually developing their ability to empathize with humans.
  • Dark Secret: They're keeping the true nature of their former business hidden from Justin, afraid he'll turn on them if he finds out. Ironically, Justin is also keeping the more shadier parts of the Foundation (such as the often inhumane treatment of the D-class) a secret from them for the same reason.
  • Irony: None of them are particularly happy with having been press-ganged by 990 into helping stop 001, but it's eventually revealed that the Foundation had caught on to their existence a while ago and were planning a capture operation, implying that 001's emergence is the only thing that saved them from the usual fate of an SCP.

     Blitzo

     Moxxie
  • Butt-Monkey: He's a magnet for getting spooked by SCP's. His encounter with the 131 instances is a good example. 173, not so much.

     Millie

     Loona
  • Hot in Human Form: Justin certainly thinks so anyway. He ends up staring a bit longer than he should've. In fairness, it's the closest he's come to seeing a human woman in a month.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Her near-death experience in bleeding herself for SCP-012, coupled with being inflicted with horrific visions of the future if SCP-001 isn't stopped, causes her to mellow out from her canonical abrasiveness rather quickly. Notably, she does warm up to Blitzo and comforts him when he realizes SCP-001 destroyed their business and tries to comfort Justin when he goes through a strong depressive episode after explaining what happened with SCP-001 in the first place.

Goetias

     Stolas
  • Fighting from the Inside: Stolas has retained his mind post-zombification, but it is trapped in a Lotus-Eater Machine that he is trying to break out of. His magic helps slow down the rate of infection, to the point Word of God implies he still has a chance to survive.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Gives the only SCP-500 dose to Octavia after they both become infected with SCP-008.
  • Tragic Monster: As a zombie - his real mind is trapped inside his subconscious, while his zombie mind is Ax-Crazy.

     Octavia
  • Alone with the Psycho: With her father zombified by 008, Octavia is now alone in the Foundation site, with Chaos Insurgency goons an an army of 001 zombies trying to break in, with only the amoral 076 and 049 to protect her.
  • Heroic BSoD: An understandable one after her father becomes a zombie.

Verosika's gang

     Verosika

     Vortex

     Other Succubi/Incubi

Royal Family

     Lucifer

     Lilith

Hazbin Hotel

     Charlie
  • Berserk Button: The Hazbin Hotel is a safe place. She doesn't take it well when 087 challenges that fact.
  • Horrifying the Horror: She successfully intimidates 087 to leave her hotel, an impressive feat considering what it managed to do earlier.

     Vaggie

     Angel Dust
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: While initially trying to play off his experience with SCP-087 with his usual sex jokes when Husk turned off the lights his facade disappears instantly and breaks down in tears and can't bring himself to sleep alone and in the dark.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Evil is an exaggeration, just chaotic at best and a jerkass at worst, however, like in canon, he loves Fat Nuggets with all his heart and is one of the few (If not the only) living beings to make Angel genuinely happy.
  • Trauma Conga Line: The story has not been kind to him, mainly in regards to his interactions with SCP's. In order, he finds himself trapped inside 087, jumped by 1337, and lastly shot by a 1499 wearing Loona.

     Alastor
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When Alastor hears Angel Dust screaming in a way that implies that he's about to be murdered Alastor drops his Affably Evil demeanor, and when looking at 087-1 he feels fear for the first time in years (not that he shows It).

     Husk
  • Going Native: Alastor thinks so. When the Radio Demon bemoans to his lackey he'll find a new source of entertainment as he's 100% that Lucifer's visit is just him going to shut down the hotel once and for all, Husk counters that maybe Lucifer's visit really is just a visit causing his boss to snark that Husk has been listening to Charlie too much.

     Niffty

     Baxter
  • Flat Character: To an almost comical degree. His only appearance so far has his silently show up and sit down to hear Charlie's announcement and immediately vanishes when she reveals that Lucifer is coming to visit.

The three Vs

     Vox
  • Asshole Victim: Vox is an Overlord of hell, so it is to be expected that he must have a shady background and most likely abuses his power for evil and sadistic purposes. When he finds out that a video of Charlie getting casually butchered, due to a CD that is actually SCP-1981, which in this scenario has turned Charlie's musical performance on 666 News into something vulgar and messed up, has been broadcasted all over hell for over a week, he gets furious and is visited by Lucifer himself and getting beaten up and warned by him.
