    Warumo Gang
The anime's regular villains. Their ultimate goal is to take over the Fairy Kingdom (or just cause trouble for Mirumo), but their plans always fail due to their stupidity.

The whole gang in general

  • Anti-Villain / Big Bad Wannabe: They're not really evil. They usually just play harmless pranks and only think they're being cruel.
  • Big Bad Friend: For the first season and even before that, Yashichi was their executive apprentice and biggest fan until he decided to leave them in order to protect Azumi.
  • Color-Coded Characters
    • Ichirou: Red
    • Jirou: Blue
    • Saburou: Green
    • Shirou: Pink
    • Gorou: Yellow
  • Finish Dialogue in Unison: Usually when Ichirou says something, the other four would repeat the last part of his sentence.
  • Goldfish Poop Gang
  • Jerks With Hearts Of Gold
  • Kick the Dog: While they're usually harmless, some of their schemes can go to some extreme levels. For example, at the end of their debut episode, they summon a dark crystal orb to possess Azumi, Rirumu, and Murumo. They use Rirumu and Murumo to attack (and defeat) Mirumo. Then in the next episode, they go on to possess all of Kaede and Mirumo's friends (excluding Yashichi, Sasuke, and Hanzo, who've been following the Warumo Gang to begin with), then eventually the entire town.
  • Magic Music: They all carry shamisen.
  • No Mouth: They always have their masks on, even when they're eating. Even back when they first met each other did they wore masks that partly obscured their faces.
  • Numerical Theme Naming: Ichirou (1), Jirou (2), Saburou (3), Shirou (4), and Gorou (5)
  • The Psycho Rangers / Quirky Miniboss Squad: Depending on the season.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: When the gang and Akumi hear about Dark's plan to make the fairy world disappear, they are all frightened. Dark then basically delivers this line to them.

  • Dreadful Musician: He dreams of becoming an idol, and even continues pursuing that career after the gang (temporarily) broke up one episode. Unfortunately, his singing voice is...quite weird.

    Gaia Tribe

The Gaia Tribe are elementals of the Fairy World. They have strong powers and can cast magic without using instruments. Although they are "gods," they have the same appearances as the fairies. They first appear in episode 17, where they give Kaede the microphone that allows Mirumo's powers to increase and save the citizens of Kaede's hometown from the Warumo Gang.

  • Humanshifting: Uses this to hide her true identity from humans (or at least those who don't have fairies yet).

Kumomo

The assistant and salesperson of Mimomo Shop. She is a cute fairy who rather clumsy and absent minded in her first appearances, but really good at making sweets.
