  • Ground Punch: Buttercup's down special has her punch the ground, knocking enemies away.
  • Playing with Fire: Befitting her inspiration, Buttercup's neutral special has her throw out a chargeable fireball. Her Limit Break also has her fly around the screen breathing fire.
  • Shotoclone: She has a fireball for her neutral special, an uppercut for her up special and a series of kicks that moves her forwards as her side special.

    Mojo Jojo

    Dexter

Voiced By: Tara Strong

    Monkey

    Chowder and Kimchi
Home Series: Chowder
Voiced By: Tara Strong
  • Acrofatic: Despite his fat body, Chowder is somehow capable of jumping multiple times in the air.
  • Adaptational Badass: Chowder never displayed anywhere near this game's combat capability in his home series.
  • Ascended Extra: In Chowder's home series, his pet fart Kimchi very rarely did anything more than sit in his cage. Here, he follows Chowder around all the time and even contributes with a few attacks of its own. He's even considered important enough that the character is called "Chowder and Kimchi" rather than just "Chowder".
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: When Ben encounters him in the Story Mode, he's been corrupted by the Remote Control, forcing Ben to fight him.
  • Fartillery: Kimchi is a living fart who Chowder throws at opponents.

    Flapjack
Voiced By: Yuri Lowenthal (original), Thurop Van Orman (XL)
  • Counter-Attack: Flapjack's down special has him start giggling. Should any opponent dare to attack him during this time, he'll respond in kind by furiously tickling them.
    Flapjack: Tickle, tickle, tickle!
  • Edible Ammunition: He throws candy as his neutral special, and uses a candy cane like a boomerang for his side special.
  • Fragile Speedster: He's very fast, but incredibly light to compensate.

    Captain K'nuckles
Voiced By: Nolan North

    Mac and Bloo
Mac Voiced By: Grey DeLisle
Bloo Voiced By: Keith Ferguson
  • Adaptational Badass: Since their home series was a comedy show, they never got to display anywhere near the combat capabilities they do here.
  • The Dividual: Despite being a duo, they're treated as one character in-game and always stick together for attacks and movement.
  • Mighty Glacier: They're slow, but they hit really hard.

    Billy and Mandy
Billy Voiced By: Quinton Flynn (original), Richard Steven Horvitz (XL)
Mandy Voiced By: Grey DeLisle
  • Assist Character: Their side special throws Irwin out in front of them, dealing damage to whoever he hits before disappearing.
  • The Dividual: Despite being a duo, they're treated as one character in-game and always stick together for attacks and movement.

    Grim
Voiced By: Neil Kaplan
  • Mighty Glacier: He's not that fast, but his scythe grants him lots of range.

    Numbuh One
Voiced By: Yuri Lowenthal (original), Benjamin Diskin (XL)

    Father
Voiced By: Nolan North
  • Playing with Fire: He primarily attacks his opponents by roasting them with fire.
  • Technicolor Fire: His Palette Swaps change the color of his fire to go with the rest of his body. It can be yellow and red, blue and white, orange or black and white.

    Samurai Jack

WHA-CHA!
Home Series: Samurai Jack
Voiced By: Keith Ferguson
  • Counter-Attack: His down special has him get into a battle stance, during which any opponents who attack him will get struck with a swift slash from his sword.
  • Close-Range Combatant: His gameplay revolves around getting close to his opponents to deal damage with his sword.
  • Clothing Damage: His PTE has him rush forward, leaving a trail of slashes which happens to rip off his shirt.
  • Lightning Bruiser: He hits hard and moves quickly. His only flaw is his lack of a projectile, but his sword's range more than makes up for it.
  • Shout-Out:

    Captain Planet
Voiced By: Yuri Lowenthal
  • All Your Powers Combined: His PTE creates two tornadoes consisting of water, wind, fire and earth, before bringing them together and blowing them up with heart.
  • Big Damn Heroes: He appears near the end of the story mode to save the other heroes from the TV remote's wrath.
  • Expy: Of Captain Falcon of all characters, possessing similar neutral airs, up airs, and even the same knee strike for a forward aerial (although Planet's trades the sweetspot for consistent damage throughout).
  • Guest Fighter: He's the only character who's not a Cartoon Network original, his show having predated said network by two years.
  • Pre Ass Kicking One Liner: "Time to recycle these eco-villains!"

  • Beam Spam: His neutral special has him shooting lasers from his eyes.
  • Eye Beams: Once again, his neutral special.
  • Long-Range Fighter: Given his large size and slow attacks, his preferred playstyle is to hang back and blast his opponents with lasers rather than risk getting close and getting hurt.
  • Mythology Gag: His alternate costume is based on one of his conceptual designs.
  • Playing with Fire: Aku's forward smash has him breathe a stream of fire in front of him.
  • Promoted to Playable: He goes from an Assist Character and a boss in the 3DS version to a full playable character in the console versions.
  • Scary Scorpion: His down special turns him into one.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: He uses some of his many forms in his attacks:
    • He becomes a bat in the air, granting him multiple jumps.
    • His down special has Aku become a scorpion and deliver several strikes with his stinger.
    • He becomes an octopus for his up special, leaping into the air with a spin of his tentacles.
    • For his side special, he changes into a bull and charges at any opponents in his way.
    • His PTE has him become a dragon, before breathing fire all around the stage.

    Scotsman

  • Mighty Glacier: He's slow, but hits hard and has good range thanks to his sword and gun-leg.

    Johnny Bravo
