  • BFS: He uses a zweihander-style blade in battle.
  • Epic Flail: He has a flail as a secondary weapon.
  • Expy: Let's see, a mercenary with an oversized sword who is continually brooding about some cataclysm from his past. Sounds a lot like Cloud Strife.

  • Alice Allusion: With the unique distinction of being an Alice expy with necromancy powers.
  • Alternate Self: In Asura Buster, there is another version of her (called "Alice!") as a Secret Character based on her play style from the prior game. Interesting to note that there is an in-story justification for this in that it is said that the younger Alice accidentally performed a time travel spell that sends her three years into the future.
  • Genki Girl: Though she is a princess who is expected to observe royal decorum, but she is also an energetic and highly curious girl who wants to explore the world.
  • Immortality Seeker: Finding the secret of immortality is what has piqued her interest, inspiring her to go adventuring in the first place.
  • Necromancer: Her specialty which she can perform via a proficiency via a grimoire-like book of spells that grants her power over the dead.
  • Token Mini-Moe: She's the youngest character in the series being introduced as ten years old in the first game.

Taros

A large automaton designed for military use that will doggedly pursue any mission it is programmed to do.

  • Malevolent Masked Men: He's always wearing a metal mask that covers the top part of his face.
  • Our Zombies Are Different: He's a reanimated corpse. In this case, this seems to involve a green goo of some sort. He also weaponizes this liquid for projectiles via his spit.
  • Power Fist: He uses an oversized gauntlet in combat.
  • Punny Name: The small, undead character appropriately named "Zam-B" (Zombie).
  • Super Spit: Has this as one of his attacks.
  • Wild Hair: Keeps his hair in this fashion as can be seen here.

  • Expy: He is to some extent like Gill from Street Fighter III in that he has a two-toned coloring to his body, though with a gender motif as well, with the red-ish left side masculine and his right of his body being blue and feminine. In terms of his fighting style, it is much more like that of the Apocalypse boss battles in the Marvel vs. Capcom games.
