Asuka Amahane
- Voiced by: Kikuko Inoue
Asuka Amahane is the Top Designer of Angely Sugar and lives on a very high mountain away from the Academy. She is the grandmother of Madoka Amahane and taught Tsubasa Sena how to design. She is the creator of Angely Bear and is close with both Ringo Hoshimiya, and her daughter Ichigo. She is mild-mannered with a cute personality.
- Granny Classic: Even before the reveal that she actually has a granddaughter, she possesses all the characteristics of this trope. She is a wise and insightful teacher to the young generation be it her favorite idols or her pupil, yet is also a close confidant to them, and talk about loveliness she is second to none.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Not really. Despite her dark red eyes, if anything, she is incredibly far from an antagonist.
- Stern Teacher: Asuka is very kind, but she can also be aloof or distant when trying to help others so that they can figure things out for themselves.
- Rose-Haired Sweetie: Elderly but very kind and caring. Obviously, she has pale pink hair.

Green Grass

Twins known as "Green Grass" to fans, are both a celebrated book author of fairy tales and the top designers of Aurora Fantasy. They are elegant and calming, but with a somewhat shy personality - which can make them difficult to find. They are affectionate towards those they like.
- Always Identical Twins: Due to this, it is unknown which is which as they have never introduced themselves by name.
- Coordinated Clothes: They wear a matching medieval-inspired blue dress.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Aside from being reclusively shy, they’re really lovely and calm. When they finally meet, they are quick to give Sakura a hug. They also have long, flowing blonde hair that make them resemble real princesses.
- Single-Minded Twins: There’s not really any difference between them, both in appearance, actions and personality. They walk at the same pace and do everything together, even handing Sakura her Premium Rare Cards with their hands joined.
- Stage Name: Their real names are Lisa and Elena Hiragi.
- Classy Cravat: One of its coord comes with this.
- Cool Crown: Befitting its name: a crown filled with the designer’s many dreams; many coords have crown-shaped accessories or an actual crown/tiara.

Tsubasa Sena
- Voiced by: Atsushi Tamaru
As a young boy, Tsubasa was very passionate about clothing. This was to the point where he was motivated to create his own clothing during his time in middle school. At this time he also became especially interested in Angely Sugar designs and became the pupil of the brand's top designer, Asuka Amahane who eventually suggested he start his own brand.
- The Baby of the Bunch: Amongst the Top Designers, he is at the bottom in terms of age, only comparable to Mizuki and Sora who are still in school. The same happens with his Intergenerational Friendship with Naoto, Johny and Shun.
- Determinator: He's very serious about his work and determined to be the number one designer, and will stop at nothing to reach it. This makes him very similar to Akari.
- In Touch with His Feminine Side: The first known male Top Designer of Cute brands who is obviously very into fashion, is also a Pretty Boy. He also wears pink himself, even.
- Ship Tease: With Akari. They are similar to each other in their determination, which really impressed him, and Akari often helps him in becoming recognized as a genuine top designer.
- Those Two Guys: Curiously, he’s often paired up with Naoto in official artworks, even though they’re not shown to be particularly close in the anime.
- Waistcoat of Style: He is frequently seen wearing a pale pink vest.
Cool Brands
Futuring Girl is a cool-type brand that features brilliant materials and geometric shapes that create futuristic dresses that are stylish and pretty. The brand's main Constellation is Aquarius. The top designer is Rei Kamishiro, and is Aoi Kiriya, Shion Kamiya and Hazuki Aranada's preferred brand.
- Fashionable Asymmetry: Often occurs, usually in the form of the gloves or accessories, earrings, or sleeves. In one or two coords, it’s the skirt.
- Metallic Motifs: Several coords feature pieces of shiny silver for a metal look.
Rei Kamishiro
- Voiced by: Kenji Nojima
The top designer of Futuring Girl, a brand for the idealistic and inspired. He is the first male top designer introduced when Aoi went to seek him out in hopes of obtaining a Premium Rare outfit. Rei is kind and creative, but has a high expectation of himself and his work.
- Early Installment Character-Design Difference: The silhouette of the top designer of Futuring Girl in Episode 9 was different to his current appearance. In the silhouette, it was shown that he wore a cloak and had his hair in buns.
- The Perfectionist: Usually from the pressure he feels is put onto him, as well as what he puts onto himself. If it builds up enough he usually resorts to locking himself away, which has occurred fairly often.
- Frilly Upgrade: Usually depends on the Idol wearing the coord, as well as the coord itself.
- Gothic Lolita: Crosses into Elegant Gothic Lolita in most cases.
- True Blue Femininity: Most of the coords are some color of blue.
Maya Yumekoji
- Voiced by: Tōru Ōkawa
Maya is the Top Designer of Loli Gothic and has a close relationship with one of the top users of the brand, Yurika Todo. He is stoic and naturally cool towards most, but this is part of his test to determine the strength of Idols who choose to wear his brand. He is humble and kind towards those he considers worthy of it, but is genuinely considered by most to be spooky.
- Dark Is Not Evil: He may act dismissive of Yurika at first and go out of his way to scare the idol girls, but Maya is actually a humble and kind person who simply wants a strong girl to wear his designs. After Yurika proves herself, he becomes very supportive of her and provides her assistance when needed.
- Mystical White Hair: Possibly. He is said to be a vampire much older than Yurika (who claims to be at least 600).
- Older Than They Look: He claims so. Unlike Yurika, he has yet to be seen to break "character".
- Our Vampires Are Different: Despite claiming to be one, the only real vampire trait he seems to have is a pet bat and the fact he lives in a dark mansion. He most-likely doesn't enjoy the sunlight either, since he isn't shown to leave his home often.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Like Asuka, his eyes are dark red but he is a kind character.
Makina
- Voiced by: Satsuki Yukino
Makina is the top designer of Swing Rock and a touring bassist. She is the first female top designer of a cool brand.
- Classy Cravat: Wears a pale blue one in Episode 101.
- Fangirl: She admires and respects Asuka Amahane.
Sunny
- Voiced by: Kosuke Toriumi
Sunny was a top-notch dancer and the former partner of Johnny Bepp, having acted together as the legendary duo dance unit Sunny & Johnny. Together, the two of them were known as the "Kings of the Dance World".
- The Promise: When Sunny decided to become a designer, he made a promise with Johnny: he would design outfits worthy of the students Johnny taught, and someday their paths would merge again.
Sexy Brands
- Graceful Ladies Like Purple: A mature brand of elegance with purple as its main theme color.
- Pretty Butterflies: One of the main theme objects or items included in several coords, usually in the form of a golden ageha.
Anna Tachibana
- Voiced by: Yoko Soumi
Anna is the top designer of Spicy Ageha, a brand featuring sexy-type outfits for the mature type. She is highly charismatic but like the other designers she holds the Idols wearing her brands with the same high expectations she puts onto herself to make wonderful clothing. Her general nature is stoic and cool-headed, but she is kind and well-meaning.
- Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: An adult variant. She appears as a stoic and elegant brunette with a cold expression.
- Graceful Ladies Like Purple: Her normal attire is purple themed, and she is represented with the color Purple, as a sexy-type designer.
- Sugar-and-Ice Personality: Despite her cold exterior, she is very charistmatic and has a kinder side to herself and is well-meaning.
Love Moonrise is a sexy-type brand that is the evolved version of Love Queen. The brand's dresses are filled with its moon motif, and gives off an exotic and sexy feel. The brand's Constellation is Virgo, and its Romance Story is Sleeping Beauty. The top designer and sole user is Mizuki Kanzaki.

Nagaoka
- Voiced by: Soichiro Hoshi
Nagaoka is the headmaster of Himezakura Private Girls' Academy and the top designer of Sakurairo Kaden. The only child from an old Kimono store in Kyoto, he wanted to deliver the feelings he held for the beauty and charm of Kimonos to young girls. Therefore he established the idol school Himezakura Private Girls' Academy and started the brand Sakurairo Kaden.
- The Smurfette Principle: Gender inverted; he’s so far the only male headmaster among the three known schools.
- This Is Something She's Got to Do Herself: He is known for being kind, but mysterious in that he prefers letting his students discover why he sees them as special.
Lucy Kisaragi

Similar to Sora, Lucy is a free spirit who goes at her own pace which causes trouble for her subordinates. She is a friendly and bright woman who has a tendency to wander off in the midst of work to go on what she calls "Happening Hunts" in search of situations that will spark her creativity. She is perky and playful.

Happy Rainbow is a pop-type brand that features vivid colors and fruit motifs, dresses like a rainbow lighting up the blue sky. The brand's main Constellation is Taurus. The top designer is Makoto Nijigabara, and is Otome Arisugawa's preferred brand.

Makoto is a finicky and fussy individual with a kinder personality deep down. His desire to spread happiness led to the creation of his Pop-type brand, Happy Rainbow. He is as effeminate in both appearance and personality, and enjoys spreading the meaning of love after he starts to open up.
- Chekhov's Gunman: At first he seemed to be an average grumpy man that Otome ran into, but late in the episode it was revealed he is the top designer she had an appointment with that day.
- Later on in the season they also find out he is close friends with Green Grass, another top designer that everyone else was unable to contact.
- Delinquent Hair: His sandy-blonde hair is worn in a pompadour.
- Loony Friends Improve Your Personality: He came off as grouchy and fussy until he got to know Otome better. His personality in season 2 and up is a stark contrast to his original, more open, friendly, and believing that "love is power".
- Jerkass: Had shades of this at first due to his extremely strict and slightly unlikable attitude. Turns out he is a Jerk with a Heart of Gold.

Marcel
Marcel lives in New York and is the reason for Kaede's love of magic. He dresses as a street clown to entertain people as well as search for inspiration for his designs.- Elective Mute: The first identified character who appears without saying a word, presumably because of his profession as a mime clown. He has a personal translator to help him with his other job.
- Non-Ironic Clown: A legitimate clown who wishes to make everyone (no matter their age) happy, whether by his tricks or his outfits.
Kayoko
- Voiced by: Akeno Watanabe
Based in Los Angeles, Kayoko is known for being very strict in terms of what she deems fashionable, hinting that her standards in fashion are high.
- Valley Girl: She is commonly seen speaking in a manner reminiscent of one, exemplifying the fact that she's from LA. Outside of that, she doesn’t really fit other ticks, being a designer dressed in elegant manner and is very strict concerning fashionable stuffs.
- Verbal Tic: Out of habit she frequently uses the term "legit".
