- Colonel Moran attempts to rape and kill a teenage Beth Lestrade in the finale for Children of Time. Only the timely intervention of the Baker Street Irregulars saves her from this fate.
- In Knight in Shining Armor
, a bunch of bullies (including some girls!) beat up Mami Tomoe and then try to rape her. Madoka Kaname tries to save her but is forced to run. Madoka finds Touma Kamijou, who proceeds to burst in and beat the shit out of the bullies in the nick of time. - A Man of Iron: In the last third of A Crack of Thunder, after Melisandre is revealed to be Amora the Enchantress, she has several of her Mooks take Jane prisoner and orders them to rape her to death. Fortunately, before they can even start, Thor arrives and brutally kills them all.
- The Night Unfurls:
- The reason why Sanakan is not raped in Chapter 4 of the original is because the Black Dog mercenaries that captured her are busy with the other female villagers — it's not her turn yet. Luckily, the mercs are foiled by Kyril's timely arrival, though Sanakan assumes that he's here to take all the victims by himself.
- In Chapter 6 of the remastered version, Kyril finds himself with a group of Black Dogs molesting Chloe. He proceeds to fetch her to her queen, Olga, before anything worse happens.
- In Origins, a Mass Effect/Star Wars/Borderlands/Halo Massive Multiplayer Crossover this happens twice. First, Mad Moxxi saves her daughter Ellie from this by swapping places with her...and killing the person who planned on acquiring a new sex slave. Next, zer0 abandons a bounty to ward off Jackie Jakobs' would-be tormenters, ending the issue with katanas.
- In Super Smash Bros: The Animated Series, Mike Washer attempts this on Jigglypuff. Especially Squicky since he's a. human and b. her father (It Makes Just As Much Sense In Context). He would've succeeded too, were it not for the Deus ex Machina.
- Twilight Sparkle: The Amazing Spider-Girl: Derpy is pinned down by the leader of three thugs, while the other two restrain her daughter Dinky. Though the leader assures Derpy she and her daughter will be free to go once he has had some "fun" with her, he warns her if she keeps struggeling against him then one of the thugs will have his own "fun" with Dinky. Luckily before any of the thugs can do anything, Spider-Girl literally swings into action, knocking out the would-be-rapists and saving the mother and daughter from harm.
- The Last of Us Series (Once Upon a Time, The Last of Us): Robin attempts to rape Regina when he catches her and it is strongly hinted that he has done this to other women.
- In Ah! Archfall!, Toshiyuki attempts this on a paralyzed Lamb. Jago then shows up with Spear Mint and his khukuri and delivers swift justice by cutting off Toshiyuki's hand.
- In Heritage of the Wolf, three dogs tried to rape and kill Jenna when she was a teenager. She was able to run away but got cornered. Balto and Boris ended up saving her. This is how Balto met Jenna.
- Green's My Favorite Color: In chapter 4, Poison Ivy kills three men who attempted to rape her.
- In the Continuation Fic Shadow of the Dragon, Satome, the resident school bully at Sakura's school, attempts to rape Sakura and her female friends on four different occasions, but is stopped every time. His final attempt, centered on Tomoyo, results in a furious Sakura jumping in, subduing him, and then allowing the Mirror Card to break a mirror and use the shards of said mirror to castrate him.
- In Tiberium Wars, a Nod soldier attempts to rape Sandra Telfair. However, he is foiled when Black Hand Captain Allen smashes down the door to the room and proceeds to beat the rapist's head against the wall while loudly reciting his offences before chucking him out a third story window.Allen: Uniform Code of Brotherhood Justice Section 2, Line 27: "any form of sexual assault of any kind by a member of the Brotherhood is considered a Class 1 Offense against the Messiah, punishable by summary execution."
- In Power Girl fanfic A Force of Four, another Kryptonian by the name of U-Ban attempts to rape Kara. The Supergirl of Earth-Two starts off with a heat blast to the groin and then she fights back until he's lying on the ground face down.U-Ban was already exposed, about to throw himself upon her.
She focused her heat vision on full power and let him have it.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" U-Ban screamed, looked very, very surprised, and grabbed his crotch. The very air was steaming around it. Not enough to injure him, probably, but damned well enough to make him hurt.
"Pull up your pants," said Kara, getting to her feet. "You look ridiculous."
- Encanto fanfic Mariano's brother: Happens to Dolores three times. The first attempt is stopped by Dolores herself, the second is stopped by Isabela, and the final is stopped by Dolores. The third attempt was almost successful, but the perpetrator decided to taunt her about her brother Camilo's murder; that happened earlier in the fic.
- In Walking in Circles, Evelyn Trevelyan first met Signy when the latter was being cornered by Ser Grieve, a Templar of their Circle. Luckily, Evelyn was able to stop him by threatening to destroy his family's livelihood.
- Later, Grieves also attempts to force himself on Evelyn herself but she killed him instead. But this event and what happens immediately afterwards left her traumatized enough that just she can't stand to be near Templars, including the good ones like Cullen.
- In The Tale of Solaron, the titular snakeman Solaron is almost raped by a female orc, but manages to constrict her into unconsciousness before she can do the deed.
- John Gage in this fic, by his own uncle. Fortunately, Roy arrives just in time to tear into the uncle. It isn't slash, but Roy is very fond of John in a combination friendship/parental way, and hurting John will get him violent if need be. The uncle isn't through, but turns to just trying to flat out kill John later, before he is stopped for good.
- His new wife gets it too, but from someone else. Her father prevented that one.
- A Flower's Touch: Aerith describes a time when she was a child when someone lured her into an alley and ripped her clothes off. Reno intervened and shoved his electro-staff through the guy's eye.
- Forward involves this happening twice with River. The first time, she is nearly raped by Niska's men, but is saved by working together with a pissed-off Jayne. The second time involves Reavers and paralyzing darts, which is averted by a sword-and-Bible-quote-slinging Book.
- The New Retcons: Elizabeth begins to suspect that Anthony might have colluded with her assailant to invoke Rescue Romance and rekindle their relationship. Then it turns out that her own mother, Elly, was actually responsible.
- In Thought Reading Alchemist, Roberta nearly got raped by a couple of thugs until Edward came to her rescue and beats them to a pulp.
- Harry Potter And The Rune Stone Path:
- In chapter 13, Luna Lovegood's bullies strip her down to her underwear and lock her out of the Ravenclaw common room. Marcus Flint is lurking just outside the entrance and waiting to pull her into a broom closet. She runs away and leads him on a chase through Hogwarts castle all the way to the Gryffindor Common Room. Along the way she wakes up Harry Potter over the comm line so he can trap Marcus Flint in a blast of ice.
- In chapter 38, Draco Malfoy and his cronies conspire to ambush Daphne Greengrass, take pictures of the gang-rape, and taunt her love interests with the pictures. When Daphne wakes up and realizes what's going on, she uses her communication earring to alert Harry Potter, who arrives Just in Time to clobber everybody before they stop taunting her and start molesting her.
- In chapter 13
- My Immortal has Snap forcing Enoby to choose to stab Vampire or have Draco get raped. Snap tries to rape him anyway, but Enoby performs the Cruciatus Curse at the last second.
- Gankona, Unnachgiebig, Unità: This happened to Italy. If Germany and Japan had not intervened in time, it would not have ended in only an attempt.
- The Berserkers Bride: Finding Hiccup attractive when visiting the village, Snotlout tries coming on to her. Not taking no for an answer, he nearly forces himself on her, only for her to respond by brandishing a knife against his neck. He tries again later that night in her cottage, only to bail when he sees that Dagur is with her.
- At the start of Unlikely Hero, a teenaged Gaz is mugged while on a late night game shopping trip, with her attackers overpowering her and attempting to rape her. Fortunately, Zim stumbles on the scene and fights them off.
- In Deception Unveiled, Jerrica gets attacked by hired goons of Eric's while trying to deliver records at night. The men imply they're going to rape her, but Rio arrives and beats them up.
- In UNDERTOW, a vengeful former bandmate of Minx's named Jerry tries to rape her at a party. He's stopped when a security guard walks in on them.
- In Sixes and Sevens, Emily's first kill is a German soldier who tried to assault her. Later on Malvagio becomes dangerously obsessed with her after she's able to hold her own against him, and tries to "take care of her". It ends badly for him as well.
- In Viridian: The Green Guide, Izuku stops a man with a mole Quirk from raping Hina Yu two weeks into his life as a Vigilante; not by getting the attention of another Hero, like he usually had, but by directly interevning and beating the man unconscious.
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
- Jericho, this gets disturbingly Played for Laughs in chapter 7. When Jeepers manages to grab and capture Lightning Dust, he says that unless Jericho does exactly what he says, he'll do dark, rape-like things to the girl. Jeepers tells him that he'll force Jericho to watch as he does it. Meanwhile, Lightning Dust is whimpering in terror as Jeepers gropes her. Jericho's response? "Neat." Then Jericho basically explains why he doesn't care at all about Lightning Dust, and why it was a dumb move to think that capturing her would in any way motivate Jericho to do what Jeepers wanted. It's a real Comedic Sociopathy moment.
- In The Lunar Guardsman, a griffin that has been sent to assault Rarity makes it plain he intends to go one step further, and there is no one to stop him. Until Raegdan enters the alley with full armor, war hammer, and a bandolier full of grenades. The griffin's death is not an easy one to say the least.
- The Pieces Lie Where They Fell: While not outright specified, it's heavily implied that this was Sharp Point's intention in Chapter 30.
- In Rarity's Generous Plan, Applejack does actually get raped, but she was supposed to be raped one or two more times in addition to that! Luckily, Big Macintosh comes in to beat the crap out of the rapists and save her before it goes that far.
- A Growing Affection has one in Anko's backstory. She is rescued by Yugao. The would-be rapists are not impressed (Yugao is two years younger than Anko), until Yugao reveals she has Kakashi with her.
- In Obscuro, this happens to Ajisai in her introduction. Naruto rescues her and cuts down her assailants.
- In Time Fixers: Nicktoons of the Future, it's implied that this is what Dark Dan was going to do to Sam before Darry intervened in "The Terror Within". Worst of all, he was gonna do it in TAK'S BODY.
- New World has this happen to Maddie, but luckily Dust is able to stop it in time. It jump starts the rest of the story, as the would-be rapist is the son of a powerful baron and doesn't take kindly to Dust attacking him.
- In the second scene of Pokémon Master, Ash punches out a League soldier who was about to rape a little girl.
- Stormy walks into a seedy biker bar in The Rainbow Connection. The men look at her and just see a weak, defenseless blind woman. The bartender slips something into Stormy's whisky, but she notices it immediately. Stormy proceeds to kill all her would-be attackers.
- In soulless shell (Redwall), Leif catches Arnold, a former member of the council who escaped after he was sentenced to death for rape, trying to rape a young mouse maid. Leif kills him on the spot after transforming into a demon.
- In What Lies Beyond the Walls, Tegast (who is no older than fourteen in human years) is almost raped by a Faux Affably Evil fox he met in a swamp. He only managed to escape by stabbing said fox in the groin.
- Cinderella And Prince Charming: Emerald mentions a time that two men tried to assault her. Of course, any trauma from that seems mostly negated by the pride she feels for using her Master of Illusion Semblance to trick them into knocking each other out without throwing a punch herself.
- Implied in May I Have This Dance?. Weiss was being harassed by a group of boys at a party who were getting too handsy and aggressive towards her. Pyrrha intervenes and helps chase them off. Cue Rescue Romance.
- Implied in Roadside Assistance. Weiss received her scar as a teen because a drunken group of boys tried to coerce her into coming with them. When she resisted, one of them, Cardin, pulled a knife on her and slashed her face.
- RWBY: Scars: As a teenager, Roman stopped a woman who is implied to be Velvet's mother from being raped by Cardin's father Maximus. Maximus later lied and said that Roman was the one who tried to rape the woman and that Roman beat him up when he tried to stop him. The victim agreed with Maximus due to fear. With no alibi and no one siding on Roman's side, Roman was not only kicked out of Beacon Academy but he was also arrested. This incident led to Roman getting involved with a mafia and caused his Start of Darkness.
The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System: Ren Zha Fanpai Zijiu Xitong
- Memories Like Ghost Stories: Qiu Jianluo tries to force his slave to give him a blowjob, but quickly changes his mind when Shen Jiu tries to bite his junk off instead. Even if the dude is thoroughly dissuaded from sexual abuse, it leaves Shen Jiu terrified by men.
- In Forum of Thrones, Samantha is nearly raped by Rodrik Stone, after he defeated her group and knocked her down. Luckily for her, this was the moment Orys Baratheon and his knights appeared.
- Butterfly fully intends on raping Harpy after briefly capturing her in Chapter 4. He did not expect her viciously fighting back though.
- In The Promise, 7-year old Maria has been abused by a scientist for several years. One night her friend Rei comes to see her at just the right time and ends up catching the man before anything happens. Rei reacts violently and kills the rapist. However, Maria is too scared to tell her grandfather what happened so everyone thinks that Rei murdered the man for no reason. Rei tries to explain himself but no one believes him. They don't believe him until after he had been executed.
- Prison Island Break:
- Shadow attempts to rape Silver under the bleachers and again in the chapel. Shadow is straight, so the writer portrays it as one of his crazed and random acts of violence, rather than a sexually motivated attack.
- Once they become cell mates, Scourge attempts to do this to Sonic, but is easily fought off. However, he succeeds the second time by using ketamine to drug Sonic beforehand.
- Scourge tries this with Rouge when she's interviewing him, though he only succeeds in grazing her wing.
- Queens of Mewni:
- Polaria the Navigator's reluctance to say no nearly caused her to get raped by a foreign prince, if Adrian hadn't intervened. This would be the start of their Rescue Romance.
- Soupina the Strange was also nearly raped when she wandered into a strange neighborhood in her grief over losing her fiance, saved when her loyal knight Sir Hollow cut off their heads. She still has nightmares about the incident.
- Venus the Fairest, despite her...ah, reputation, is enough of an Ethical Slut, that she created a spell for those in this situation to get out of it with their virginity intact. It involves causing a Kiss of Death.
- Trauma starts with Beast Boy viciously killing a criminal. As the story unwinds, it's revealed that he killed a Serial Rapist who was targeting peers of the Teen Titans. His next intended victim was Raven, but Beast Boy killed him beforehand.
- Early in Heart of Fire, Kathryn is about to be raped by the leader of the mercenaries who catch her after she has managed to escape from Smaug. When she screams, it's answered by a roaring Smaug who's hunting her down. The mercenaries then focus on remaining silent, only to be killed by Smaug who takes Kathryn back.

- Defied in Red Scar. Draska implies he might try to attack Eleya: "someday, one of the other guards might just leave this door unlocked". She gets him by the balls through the cell bars and informs him that if he tries anything with her, she'll rip his junk off and ram it up his backside.
