Examples on this page were commented out for at least one of the following reasons.

  • They're zero context examples.
  • They only have half the context. On this page usually only stating that the character is a mother).
  • Read like personal or fans' opinions, simply stating a character is "hot", "sexy", or "cute" without explaining why.
  • For live action examples, talking about the actor instead of the character.
  • Only talks about the character's youthfulness. (see Absurdly Youthful Mother or Older Than They Look)

A Hot Mom is a character who a mother and is portrayed as attractive(Attraction Tropes, Beauty Tropes, and Fanservice Tropes are usually used for this character's portrayal). Please add proper context to any example before you uncomment them.

Also please make sure you're familiar with the following pages: Zero Context Example, No Lewdness, and Weblinks Are Not Examples.

Before I request it on the page, does anyone else think that a link to Stacy's Mom in the description would be appropriate?

So we can put real life examples here in the discussion? The phenomena has a British term - "Yummy Mummy" - and that's what I googled on to get here. I was going to report that in the 1970's, the Sunday night BBC current affairs show That's Life featured worthy charities and concerns, giving them national TV exposure and a chance to use the power of the BBC TV network to pull in donations. For a long time it profiled a little boy called Anthony Nolan who was dying of some sort of horrible, and who wanted there to be a Anthony Nolan Trust to remember him by and research into whatever was kicking the crap out of his vital functions, as nobody knew a lot about the disease he had except that it would be incurable and he'd be dead by age ten. Fair enough and watching women wept buckets and threw cash at the screen. Apparently Anthony was a heartbreakingly cute child, but we adolescent males watching That's Life weren't watching for him and couldn't tell you which of Anthony's organs were packing it in to save our own lives. The truth was, we just weren't interested.

The draw was the sickly child's mother, who appeared on TV with her stricken son and who was universally acclaimed drop-dead gorgeous and a wank fantasy worth watching. Dark-haired, sultry, slim, gorgeous... none of us had ever seen a mother like that before. It was outside our experience. We all fantasised about helping his mum get over it when he went..

We were callous fourteen and fifteen year olds... later on, there was a Madeleine Mc Cann sort of mystery, concerning a young boy of about the same age who dissappeared while on holiday in Greece. The mother of young Ben ~Needham was not a skilled middle class medical professional who could play the right games and come over as a worthy victim who ticked all the boxes. Ben Needham's mum was an unskilled worker off a council estate, or "crap" next to the Doctors Mc Cann. (The sort the papers hate and subtly claim were responsible for their child's dissappearance.) But she was young, cute, blonde and buxom and did her interviews while wearing skimpy tops with no bras...I'm sure it was only this that kept her in the public eye...

Sayuri Daimon of [1] looks about my age (I'm in my junior year of college at the time of writing). Her son is 14...not that he looks it. So definitely an example of this trope.

As it is, it's just a list of people tropers apparently pop boners over. Is this even necessary?

Oswalds mother in the Drew Carey show, played by Adrienne Barbeau, should fit in here. As I recall various people in the series commented on his Hot Mom both in past and present tense.

You don't need to ask for permission, especially for a Palin pick. Those things are just begging for trouble.

See you in the discussion pages.
