Find a Show:
Survival reality shows
These were a while ago. Dare i even guess 10 years? The shows were all professional survivors going in the middle of nowhere to survive and explain to the camera man how it works. Except #2, where evasion was the main point (though durvival was also an element because all the e pisodes except the city one were in the wilderness).
- A survival show where a soldier and a hippie (always the same 2 people) were sent into different places every episode. They broke up and both were at some episodes with a different person filling the other role. The first hippie had two braids and i think he actually lived in some kind of a tent in the wild. I think somebody's first name was Cody. One guy intentionally cut himself so that he could show how cauterization works.
- I thought that the title was "Manhunt" but i didn't find anything. A kind-of survival show where the american soldier's mission is to be at a specific pickup point at a specific time without the location"0's special forces catching him (they are in on it). I remember that the locations ranged from a city to savannah.
- I thought it was Bear Grylls. A similiar survival reality show with one episode where the guy is on a raft and says "Lie Back and Think of England" before giving himself an enema, possibly for no other reason that he wanted to show it to the aidience.
- Another survival reality show where there was a bunch of apparently famous people, including the hippie from the first one i think. It starts with the guy whose turn it is being abducted by the rest (in one episode the guy was giving a seminar about planning or survival, one of the other people shows up. The guy casually continues talking about escaping, then jumps off the platform and runs. He outwits his chasers and runs to the fire escapse ladder, only to find himself surrounded) and dumped to the starting spot with a bunch of variying items. There was also an episode where a guy was dropped off in Lapland dressed at Santa Claus and it ended when he ran into some sámi people at the last minutes (there was a certain time limit within which the person has to find people, and their body functions were also monitored and they're picked up if they drop too much).
A show gives you choices and explains why you die
It was some kind of an info show maybe 10 years ago. It gives you a set of "lives" (i dunno how many. Maybe 9?). It then presents the audience 9 questions, each with two choices, one of which is either fatal or very dangerous, and you have to come up with the right course of action, and after the ad break it explains which option is wrong and why it is wrong. If you run out of lives, you "lose". Though it is not a game show, it was only for the watcher.
The one question that i clearly remember is "You are participating in a charity swim, only to learn that you have to swim in either unfiltered manure or in nuclear rod cooling water". The cooling water was the right choice because you will at best get very sick from the manure (obviously) but you will (allegedly) be safe in the reactor water as long as you don't sink and stay far enough from the rods.
sci-fi shooter type flash game with furries? Videogame
This game has been driving me crazy for at least a week. I found it around 2010 and it was one of those platformer-shooter games, like Armor Mayhem or Raze, but it was purely singleplayer and the two main characters were furries. It had a lot of comedic fourth wall breaking moments, like one character telling the other character the controls and neither of them knowing what they mean. The character you played was a male grey cat I think, and I think the second character was a female with red hair, and the second character would talk to the player character through a computer and give advice and maybe hack things?
Did you guys know this? Anime
Hi, I want to asking the title for a manga. Its about an Yakuza who works as debt collector who one day finds an abandoned little girl In an apartment when he is carrying out his duties.
Young man with extraordinary powers searches for his mother Film
Hi, I’m looking for an old mystery series. I watched it maybe 20-30 years ago, but missed the ending and I still do not know what was the backstory of the main hero. I would be grateful if anyone who remembers the series shares its title.
Here’s what I remember:
- It was probably a US mini series. - It takes place in the 80s-90s. - The main character is a young man with supernatural abilities. I don’t remember if he could heal other people or if his power was connected to electricity somehow (maybe both). - He was looking for his mother (who disappeared long time ago), and wanted to find out more about his powers. - He was helping many people during the series. - There’s a scene I remember - he was on a roof and repairing an antenna and then some lightnings appeared.
I was little and I probably don’t remember everything correctly, but it was very interesting for me at that time and I still cannot get over missing the ending. So please HELP! (it’s not The Visitor, or the Pretender)
A book I read in school
It's about an African-American boy trying to find his dad, who plays the saxophone. He keeps getting sorted into horrible foster homes, one of which has a kid who shoves a pencil up his nose, and when he slaps the bastard he's tossed into a shed overnight as punishment. When he eventually finds his dad, the dude turns out to also be an asshole deadbeat, but at least he does get to learn how to play the sax.
Family rents house in fairy forest [SOLVED] Film
i've been trying to find this film on and off for around ten years and just today i thought to try on tvtropes. sorry if the description is too vague, but i thought it would be worth a try.
i must have seen this movie sometime between 2008 and 2010, but it could have been earlier. i was skipping through channels on a family friend's TV, so i only caught one scene of it. this is what i remember: a family, which as far as i can recall is made up of mom, dad, and at least two kids whose gender i can't remember, drives in a minivan through a forest and across a stone bridge. if i'm remembering it right, the dad has a line of dialogue about how the bridge is called something like "the fairy bridge". the family gets to a house they're renting for the holiday which is kind of a cottage style, and the dad says, kind of jokingly, that the family should say hello to the fairies, or else they might get back at them. the kids and the mom say "hello fairies". that shot is framed through some tree branches, but what is in focus is the house. after the family says that line, the focus changes to the tree branches and it's revealed that a fairy is spying on the family, and then the fairy turns and faces the camera. the fairy's body is grey and it has some darker markings along the legs and arms, and its hair is dark red, and cut in a kind of bob style. if'm recalling correctly its eyes have yellow irises, but they could have also been dark eyes.
i was a kid when i saw this, so the details of it might be a little iffy, but from the set-up of the scene i'm more on the side of this being a movie rather than an episode of a TV show. i do remember that it was live-action, and that the family is white. i'm from latin america, so the scene that i saw was dubbed, but the original language is probably english. the cgi used for the fairy looked kind of convincing to me as a kid, but not as much as some stuff i'd seen in movies, so i'm betting this was either a tv movie or made with a lower budget. it didn't look super dated, and my guess is that it's more or less contemporary to the time that i watched it- made between the mid to late 2000's.
anyway, thanks so much to anyone who's willing to help, hope i didn't hallucinate it. <3
Edited by EliphanpySome old furry deviantart cartoon thing
It was set in high school. The main character was a golden retriever with, what I think, was a blue collar. She was from a rich family. IIRC her name was either Cecelia or Camellia Smith. Her rival was some black cat with purple eyes named Luna who had a dark and brooding goth personality going on. She had an older edgy brother that got into a fight or something and got his cheek scratched.
No Title Literature
I'm trying to think of a young adult novel. I think it was the first in a series. A teenage hacker's father gets invited to help work on a satellite meant to study the Antarctic. Something goes wrong with the launch, and the father is blamed. But the son knows it was sabotaged. The rest of the book is spent uncovering who did it and why. The whole story is told scrapbook-style, with excerpts from chatlogs, documents, etc.
Find me the very racist book Literature
I remember finding this book in a public library back, like, 9 years ago. It was a children's book about a white kid and a black kid; I legit picked it up because the drawing of the black kid was the spookiest fucking drawing I have ever seen; have you ever seen a caricature that is so racist it is actually somewhat frightening? This was it.
Anyways, so then I turn it around, and on the back cover, the premise of the story unfolds. The white kid is racist towards the black kid and bullies him; so racist, in fact, that he eventually punches the black kid. Then, a patch of skin on his knuckles turns black.
And then it begins to spread.
Like, this was, I believe, an attempt to write a book about "Look, kids, if you act racist, bad things will happen!", but the message is so ass backwards that it comes across as "Look kids, if you touch a The Blacks, you will become one of them. You will become... infected."
It is horrible and nonsensical and I don't understand who wrote it or why and I NEED it so badly, if you have seen anything about this book please PLEASE tell me the name, Google just gives me examples of antiracist books and no, mister Google, I don't want the not racist book, I want the EXTREMELY racist book.
Thanks for the help!
Old youtube series thing, maybe a newgrounds animation
There were these people that found a temple or something and uh. They could turn into glowing alien-beings with one colour and could fly. I think they all had their own powers. One of them had a compass. IIRC there weren't any voice actors, only music. Main character transformed into a green alien-being that could fly.

Girl turns into a tree Live Action TV
ok this has been bothering me for days, I remember an episode of a show or possibly a movie where a girl turns into a tree. Its a school aged girl and it happens in front of a school, she is standing up when her feet turn into roots and she becomes a tree. It happened in daylight too. I believe the main characters were trying to figure out the situation when it happened. she also knew she was going to turn into the tree. I thought it was my babysitter's a vampire or grimm but I was wrong, but the show must have had a similar vibe. there may or may not have been a love interest. Things it is not: - Cheluvi - The twilight zone - Evermoor - Percy Jackson - Once upon a time
Dragons Western Animation
The trouble is I think this was literally just called "Dragons". (not Dragons: Riders of Berk). It was very charming 2D animation and I remember not much else.. a lot of white and pastoral images and it was probably a sort of VHS featurette about dragons with narration.
Current TV Show (I think Grey's Anatomy episode) Live Action TV
I was on lunch today at work, and I heard a TV show or movie promo on someone's phone today. I think it was a current show, definitely a suspenseful one. All I could made out was a woman yelling (not yelling as in anger, yelling as in frustration, as if something terrible was happening), "that looks bad", and a man said right after, "how we can fix it?" (also in a panicking voice) I think this was an episode of "Grey's Anatomy", but I do not know for sure. I tried searching online, but no luck. I know this is very vague, but does this ring any bells for anyone? Any help would truly be appreciated, thank you.
Fairly Oddparents Episode Western Animation
An episode of the Fairly Oddparents where the Turners meet a family who are similar to them and result that the other family are criminals. The episode is from before the uncancellation.
game about pets from early 2000s, maybe 90s [SOLVED] Videogame
looking for a computer game i remember playing when i was really young! i remember really liking it, it had a variety of animals you could take care of.
sadly, i don't remember its name, and i think my parents may have sold it or have it somewhere i can't get to.
the animals were dog, cat, lizard, rodent and bird
maybe im remembering wrong, but i think you could pick one breed of each animal to take care of. for example, you could take care of a golden retriever, siamese, iguana, hamster and parrot all at once. if you know any games that were like that, then please do tell, thank you! ^^
Edited by mitzioletHorror(?) movie?
I saw this movie a couple years ago on TV. The only scene I remember is that the MC was working as a butcher at a grocery store and the events of the story so far were making him unhinged, something happens that causes him to snap at another butcher or a customer so he hits them with a cleaver or something and everyone around them is horrified, then I think the MC was tatted yelling and raving about something and stormed off.
Interactive fiction game about going to the supermarket and buying gnocchi Videogame
It was a CYOA where you're supposed to go to the supermarket and buy gnocchi, but you could do other random stuff like dance with a random lady in the store, or just not buy anything at all. Supposedly there's a dead love interest?
Silly "horror" web game Videogame
A few years ago I stumbled upon a rather silly "horror" flash Point-and-Click game that I had no idea how to beat.
It was from a first person POV and you began in some underground passage of sort. If you didn't move quickly and shut a door behind you a ridiculous Humanoid Abomination with crossed arms would pop from under the screen. Still it was rather funny than scary.
If you managed to get away succesfully you ended up in a dark forest of sorts with multiple paths to go. One led you to an area where a black humanoid figure with eyes all over it was scuttling erratically. If you poked it too eagerly it engulfed the entire screen while suddenly acquiring a mouth. It proceeded to trash-talk and then kill you. That's all I remember.
Edited by sohibilLooking for the origin of a gif Anime
So, there's this gif I really like on tenor that is someone apparently sitting on a car and we see only this person's hands holding a revolver with its chamber open, then the person fill the chamber with those fast reloaders and closes it.
I don't have any idea where this is from, already searched it in some ways and found none.
Here's the link if you want to check it out and if you know the source I WOULD REAAAAALLY APRECIATE IT.
