Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Judging by TV Tropes Glossary, there seems to be a difference between a permanent ban and a bounce. Maybe getting permanently banned or getting put on read only doesn't stop you from editing crowners? I don't know.
As I suspected this wasn't the only TLP crowner they commented on. They also commented here and here. It seems they went through the TLP on November 23 and used the crowners as the only way to communicate.
Edited by mightymewtron I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Nulled those entries (t3's nonsense is still on record in the history, though)
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. So they had a meltdown where they basically forced the mods to permaban them, and then started vandalizing shit to try and get unbanned? Great strategy.
But honestly, how is this even possible? Why would a permabanned troper be allowed to edit crowners of all things? I'm shocked nobody exploited this sooner.

He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself. Is it possible to make another account with different capitalization in the handle?
^ I don't know, but the edit history uses the same capitalization. They just used ALLCAPS in their text to terrify us into unbanning them.
EDIT: Actually it's not possible, and I should know because my troper page is capitalized despite my handle being all-lowercase.
Edited by mightymewtron I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I'm almost sure troper handles aren't case-sensitive, but I don't really feel like testing it just now.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.I tried checking out TROPER3, and it's the same cut page you get when you go to Troper3. Debunked?

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThey also vandalized the Bugbear TLP crowner. I removed the spam. It is listed under the [REDACTED] entries.
Edited by SkyCat32 Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.^ The weirdest part is that those redacted options got two likes. With the other ones I could assume the like was from T3 themself, but two?
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. Is them being able to edit crowners a possible bug? If so, should we take it here?
I'll level, I downvoted to offset the upvotes, partially hoping others would follow my lead and downvote the spam in the crowner into oblivion, so that its effects on the crowner were mitigated.
Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.^ Good effort, but I do want the spam to stay visible so the mods can see it, though.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Maybe they can't really edit the crowner, but they summoned a meatpuppet?
For every low there is a high.^ Not likely; it's their name on the crowner history.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessHuh. I didn't know you could see crowner history, since I'm not familiar with that part of the site.
For every low there is a high.
Remember Troper 3? They got bounced back in September for rushed and haughty TLP activity, and subsequently permabanned for being super rude about their suspension.
Well, here's the weird thing. I checked a title crowner I made for one of my TLP drafts...and discovered one of the options was "UNBAN ME - TROPER3" which was added on November 23 by Troper3. I thought they were permabanned by that date, and thus unable to edit crowners? If they really did make this edit in November then that's concerning and we should keep an eye out for more suspicious activity.
