Considering we have an Awesome.Real Life page, I'm gonna assume no.
Moment of Awesome isn't listed on No Real Life Examples, Please!.
Are YMMV items in general forbidden from real life sections? Quickly scrolling through YMMV.Home Page, I see that Complete Monster is listed on NRLEP, implying that this is not the default.
Edited by wingedcatgirl Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.I remember those kinds of pages got cut from other sporting events like the World Cup.
Asked the rest of the staff to be sure. Axe away.
Edited by Berrenta she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope Report^ On what basis? Is it "no Real Life YMMV", "no Real Life Awesome", or something narrower? (If it's one of the first two, there's a lot more to clean up.)
And this has come up repeatedly for the other Awesome/ subpages for Sports, and the staff have never been able to reach a consensus. Should those be axed as well?
I have similar concerns about almost everything in Olympic Games.
IIRC, it is discussed and the reason Real Life can has Awesome (and Heartwarming, I think) pages is mostly because it's mostly harmless.
But when it come to competitive event like sport, I find it dubious personally. For every victor's moment of awesome, there's more loser's moment of suck.
I don't really agree on this cut and have brought it up in response to Berrenta's internal query.
Should Awesome.Pro Gaming be cut for troping real life events?
