That edit reason is kinda rude. I also didn't see this.
Also, someone added a "reason" for the rivalry that feels like it's just going into complaining that the Director of Birds of Prey "insulted" the fans, unlike, supposedly, the Sonic director. Honestly, the entire entry should just go.

Having said that...apparently we're all sharing a room under a rock, because I have heard nothing about any sort of rivalry between those two movies.
But since it's a YMMV entry, I'm hesitant to do anything with the entry right now.
It's YMMV, yes, but we can delete those if they're inaccurate; is there any evidence of this apparent rivalry?

All I've seen are those clickbaity videos that really hate BOP for some reason.
Same here. No clear evidence of a major rivalry.
The only people I've seen talking about the so called rivalry are people claiming that BOP "hates men" and other junk like that.

I bet this "rivalry" only came up because BOP had a underwhelming opening compare to Sonic's.
The most I've seen about this is one meme on Discord where it was the woman yelling at a cat meme but with the BOP characters as the girls and Sonic as the cat

Apparently this all started because those Birds of Prey fans were blaming Sonic for the movie’s poor box office.
But yea, potshots like these have no place on the wiki. I had to delete the entire Fandom Rivalry section for Mighty No. 9 since it was just consisting of “fans of this work think Mighty No. 9 sucks”.

I've seen evidence of the rivalry (there was a post going around with screenshots of BOP fans making up claims about the Sonic movie on twitter) but a handful of twitter users does not an entire fandom make.

Should the A Star is Born entry for the Venom movie be removed as well since the "rivalry" entry was basically included for the same reason? (Twitter users trying to sabotage the Venom movie)
Just noticed that the Fandom Rivalry entry in YMMV.Sonic The Hedgehog 2020 was readded by tropineasily after having been removed due to the Birds of Prey fans in question being deduced to be a vocal minority.
