Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
The reason is because no one has bothered to move the pages yet.
So, just swap Title and Namespaces, right?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576No. Works are not namespaces. The proper space for it is e.g. TabletopGame.Dungeons And Dragons Settings.
Given the low number of wicks, we can probably just make the moves sometime soon, once people see this and get a chance to respond.
Is there a D&D thread on the forums?
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaOnly War does not have its own thread; the place to discuss it is probably in one of the 40k threads.
Note that Classes.Pathfinder is redirect to proper characters sheet already.
Edited by Kuruni^ Since January 1, 2012 this article has brought 29,103 people to the wiki from non-search engine links.
I guess that's why it wasn't cut.
Move done. If some cut listed pages have too many inbound links, I'll turn them into redirects. It won't get rid of the nonexistent namespaces, but I can't do anything about that.
Edited by TabsYou moved some of them to the proper namespace and some of them to DungeonsAndDragons as a namespace... Intentional?
Creatures and Classes went to Characters/
Mechanics and settings aren't characters, so I treated them like a work page split (NameOfMedia/Tropes and NameOfMedia/MoreTropes)
To be honest, the idea of using Tabletop Game as a split namespace is not good if something is not a work. After all, most other works use a namespace based on their name if their tropes are split (VideoGame.Stellaris, Film.Avengers Infinity War, Franchise.Pokemon, etc.)
Then again, splitting work tropes based on what they're related to isn't always liked. Anime.Neon Genesis Evangelion used to have folders for Setting, Characters, Narrative, Themes, and Meta before it was changed to standard alphabetisation. This should probably be alphabetised normally and then split to subpages, though it would take some time.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods Of Incremental)
Classes.Dungeons And Dragons
Classes.Only War
Classes.Pathfinder
Creatures.Dungeons And Dragons
Mechanics.Dungeons And Dragons
Settings.Dungeons And Dragons
These have trope subpages using atypical namespaces. What's the reason behind the split like this?
