The reason it was cut was because it was a disambig for about ten years but still saw usage. It was cut to brute force the issue and force people to stop using it, back when keeping as a normal disambig wouldn't work.
Personally I kinda like the scorched Earth tactic since it's not a disambig page. It's a cut page for a reason.

Nah, keep it red. We already have problems with tropers adding and reading disambiguated tropes despite them being green and this one was especially problematic.

I'm in favor of a regular disambiguation. I don't really think this case is so unique it deserves a completely nonstandard jury-rigged solution, or that it being red instead of green is even going to do that much to prevent misuse. Plus, the current setup makes it a real pain to edit if a name changes or something.Details

I mean... yeah, I did. And I still agree with what I said.
However, this whole issue seems to depend on whether or not we still consider Foe Yay a disambig, or if it's just a cut trope with disambig text. Basically, is it something that warrants being green, or is it better off just ignored?

It functions as the current Disambig pages do through a workaround. Now that we have a better system for disambig pages, it seems like a no-brainer to use the official method, if only to prevent confusion when unaware tropers stumble into it.

Foe Yay is now a Green Link after some internal discussion.

Foe Yay is clearly meant to be a disambiguation page, but it's not formatted as one; instead it's a cut page with the cutlist message serving as disambig. Should it be remade into one, to be a green link?
