The multiversal corridors. The empty space that exists in-between all universes: universes that were, universes that are, and universes that will be. To the untrained eye, it appears as swirling tunnels of bright colors, flashing and shifting constantly; you may get a slight headache if you stared too long, but at least that's the most damage you'll get.

Within one of these corridors, something floated. It was a squarish structure; shiny, practically chromed, with a massive dip in the center. For all intents and purposes, the structure looked like a gigantic casino roulette.

Four alien-looking machines - security drones, one would think - zoomed across one of the giant roulette's flat sides. Their red eye pieces darted to and fro, as if searching for something... or someone...

*clink*

One of the drones was pelted by something. A claw extended from it, picking the object up...... a bolt.

"Looking for me, guys?"

The four drones all turned to the origin of the voice. A blue-haired girl stood on the surface of the shiny, gigantic roulette; she was nonchalantly tossing a wrench up and down. She was also not wearing a helmet; just a pair of goggles over her eyes, an orange hoodie, brown pants, yellow shoes and a ton of belts.

She grinned. "Hi!"

The drone dropped the bolt, and all four darted at Trope-tan. She broke into a run. Two of the drones extended their claws and tried to grab her; she merely leaped into the air in a dizzying spin, causing their claws to tangle with each other. They broke off to untangle themselves, while the remaining two gave chase. These two fired beams of light that scraped across the surface of the giant roulette; Trope-tan pulled a mirror from her belt and caught one of the beams in it, sending it back to the drone that was firing it and destroying it. The two now-untangled drones joined the still-functioning one and continued their chase; Trope-tan kept ahead of them, seemingly preferring to escape rather than fight.

Ten drones appeared in front of her, and she skidded to a stop. All of them started to surround her, closing in, their capture claws extending -

*WHOOOM*

A missile struck one of the drones, destroying it and sending it crashing into the one beside it, causing a chain-reaction that blew them all up; Trope-tan, her eyes shielded, looked up to see her shiny, Tron-line-laden ship flying close. Grinning, she leaped into the half-open loading ramp, shouting "Take-off!!"

The ship complied, zooming into multiversal space; the gigantic roulette deployed larger versions of the drones to chase her. They started launching volley after volley of missiles; Trope-tan's ship bobbed and weaved, until a cluster of missiles seemingly struck her in the back, blanketing her ship in a bright-yellow explosion......

......Until her ship came screaming out of the inferno, dashing away. Trope-tan was at the controls now; she circled around, firing her own ordnance into the cluster of larger drones; the drones couldn't react in time and were caught in-between explosions that forced them together, allowing her to catch them in her sights.

"Gotcha!!"

With a burst of rapid-fire, the last of the drones pursuing her were destroyed. Trope-tan quickly turned her ship around, putting distance between herself and the structure. Soon, she could see the gigantic roulette in its entirety, framed by the rainbow colors of the multiversal corridor it floated in.

Trope-tan smiled a content smile; she flipped several switches on her control console, before opening a casing housing a large, red button. "Sorry - not this time."

Her comm suddenly flared to life; the screen showed nothing but static. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," came a garbled, heavily-distorted voice.

Trope-tan raised an eyebrow at the voice. "First off, what makes you think I'm just gonna let you do this all willy-nilly? Second, would you stop hijacking my comm frequencies?!" without another word, Trope-tan slammed her fist into the big red button.

Explosives she planted all around the gigantic roulette received their signal and detonated, soon covering the structure in a blanket of smoke, fire and yellow. Trope-tan grinned at the static-filled monitor, appearing pleased with herself......

......Until the explosions began to slowly collapse in on themselves. Trope-tan leaned in her pilot's chair towards her viewscreen, a look of shock on her face.

Garbled laughter came from the comm unit. "I had a feeling you were coming to stop this...... so I set my device to activate once provided with enough energy - like from, say, your explosives." The voice's laughing grew louder.

Trope-tan could only look on in horror as the explosions coalesced into a bright-purple sphere; the sphere suddenly grew tendrils of energy that shot out into multiversal space. They pulled, and the tendrils returned with bright-white pulsing energy from other worlds, pulling them into the purple sphere. It grew larger and larger as it did so, soon engulfing the multiversal corridor; Trope-tan started to feel the force attempting to pull in her ship as well.

"Behold!!!" the distorted voice cackled. "My Xanatos Roulette works!!! There is nothing you can do to stop it now!!!" Laughter filled the ship's speakers as the unknown voice cut off, the static-filled screen tuning out.

Trope-tan looked at the growing ball of purple energy with disdain. Its growth was slowing down, but it was still drawing in energy from any world it could find. "......I'm not finished yet," she said with a grim face.

Her ship turned around and fired its thrusters, soon vanishing into the distance as the purple sphere continued its destructive growth.

A curtain rolled, showing an old man and a young woman on a stage. Or at least, that was shown through the peephole a young man was looking through.

"...General, a new challenge is approaching you. It's a world, ruled by a being similar to that of 'The True Enemy'." The woman spoke. The young man heard.

"The Master thinks you would gain much experience in dealing with a being of true power if you investigate into this matter. A world only known as 'The City'. Not much is known, except it has been created rather recently. Your task is to terminate the Creator, to free the world from it's grasp..." The young man gazing through the small peephole suddenly felt something start to wrap around him.

"...Your ride has come. There is only one last thing I need to tell you." The world around him went dark.

"You will not remember this conversation."

The young man opened his red eyes, having somehow fallen unconscious. He looked around the room he was in. It seemed to be a hospital. The Shinjuku Medical Center.

"Again?" He said with utter nonchalance, showing familiarity to this building. After all, you cannot forget the location that you lost humanity in. He got up from the Hospital bed, showing his full appearance.

His hair was pitch-black and unruly. He was also shirtless, exposing strange, thick tattoo-like markings all over his body, seemingly as if ingrained into his skin. He luckily wore dark jean shorts and a pair of sneakers. Strangely, on the nape of his neck was a small, sharp, peculiar horn.

"But..is this really it?" He headed towards the exit.

On the other side, several small children were daring each other to enter the 'Abandoned Hospital'. Legend has it that inside dwelled a demon that gobbled up little kids for breakfast.

Egged on by his friends, one of the children cautiously appraoched the automatic door, when suddenly the doors opened before he was close enough. The child was close to wetting his pants as a tall figure loomed over him...

The teen let out a loud yawn as he stepped out. He was almost blinded by the light, unaccostumed to it for so long. He let out a rather inhuman growl. His stomach let out one as well.

He heard small voices screaming, and smelt a rather foul odor. He opened his eyes finally, only to see the backs of several children, and a trail of yellow liquid behind them. Though, this isn't what surprised him the most. No, what really surprised him was the enviornment around him.

"Cool." He spoke with a devilish smile on his face as he gazed at the many buildings around, feeling at home. But, then his smile turned into a scowl. He had no memory of this place. It was not his world. So why is he here? He should be preparing his army of darkness to fight against the 'True Enemy'. Could it be?...

"Is this a trick?!" There was no way that this was the Vortex World, nor any worlds under the true enemy's rule. Humans seemed to litter the place and the land looked as abundant with life as Tokyo. this was impossible. He destroyed the process of Time and Creation. He freed every world from 'The True Enemy'. How could his long journey be reversed so soon?! Days upon days of training, hard work, and victory, all now spit upon and thrown back at him. Looks like he'd just have to ask some questions.

"Excuse me, but would you please tell me where I am? This dosen't look like the ruined city of Tokyo, and there seems to be no demons around." Everyone he asked gave him a rather alien look, not knowing a single thing of what he was talking about. Many just decided to walk away

"..Why are you all ignoring me-" He suddenly noticed he was stepping in the yellow puddle the children left behind.

"...."

"Who expelled their waste on the floor?"

Jack held his sword, his single arm actually trembling a little. Why did I put the bunny back in the box? Why couldn't I leave the bunny out of the box? The robotic bunny standing across from him stood protectively in front of the boy, staring at Jack with a red robotic eye.

Fuck this, I'm outta here. Jack had no intention of ending up like the Hegemonic Brute. He quickly made use of the prototyped wings and took off, fleeing from the bunny and its new master.

That was when he felt something wrap around his torso, and everything went black.

Jack opened his eyes in a bit of a daze. What the hell just happened? He pulled his head up, and noticed he had managed to fall asleep in his chair, head on his desk. Wait, my desk? He stood up, and realized with a start that he was back to wearing his normal suit. The Black Ring was gone - he had both of his hands and eyes, and currently had a noticeable lack of wings, tentacles, and swords stuck in his torso.

Was that it? A goddamn dream?! Jack thought angrily before his attention was caught by the Black Crown sitting on his desk, alongside his collection of stabbing implements.

Okay, I'm confused. Jack made his way to the window, deciding that he just needed some fresh air to clear his head. He pulled the curtain away, noticing that the sky was distinctly more bright than, well, ever. There was a conspicuous lack of dark purple towers and the four prototyping towers that had once dominated the skyline.

"What the hell?!"

Subaru Nakajima, officer of the Time-Space Administration Bureau, hummed happily to herself as she walked down the deserted city street. It was late, and she was on her way home from the Bureau hospital on Mid-Childa.

She had a lot to smile about, she thought. Jail Scaglietti’s trial had found him guilty on multiple pan-dimensional crimes, and he and the few Numbers Cyborgs still loyal to him were behind bars. Her sister Ginga and her good friend Vivio were recovering well in the hospital, the Saint’s Cradle was in pieces, work had begun to rebuild the battered city, and she’d even been offered a job in the Harbour Search and Rescue Service. Life was great!

“It was good to see Ginga doing so well, wasn’t it?” she said, looking down at the blue crystal pendant she was wearing over her brown Ground Forces uniform. The crystal flashed and chimed softly.

Yes.” Subaru’s device spoke in a metallic, synthesised female voice. “She will be working at full capacity soon.

“I hope so!” She giggled – then stopped suddenly in her tracks. Something felt... odd. She felt the hairs rise up on the back of her neck. “What is...”

Alert!” Mach Calibre cried, flashing in alarm. “ Dimensional transference spell detected! Unknown magical signature!

Subaru looked up in shock as a crackling ball of purple light appeared above her. Before she could react, it had thrown out a bright tendril of light, wrapped it around the blue-haired mage’s chest and pulled her off her feet. She only had time for a single startled yell before the light dragged her through the walls of her dimension and her vision went black.

An indeterminable time later, Subaru opened her eyes. She was lying in the middle of the street – only this time, it was daylight, it was a different street, and wherever she was she was not on Mid-Childa – the lack of moons in the sky was enough to tell her that.

“Oohhh...” She groaned, pushing herself upright. Unshielded dimensional transfers hurt! “What happened? Where the hell are we?”

It dark. Its always been dark, but this dark is different. This place wasn't the room they were used to. Groaning came from with in and alley way as a figure pulls itself to their feet. They walk forward towards the light and out into a street. The figure has messy pink hair, a skinny build, and is of questionable gender. He/She is wearing a black robe with a white collar and large white cuffs.

He/She looks around the street, observing the confused and slightly panicked people all around and looks at the sun. "I'm somewhere new, the sun is different. It has no face. I don't know how to deal with a different sun." His/Her eyes move to look up as if looking into their skull as a voice seems to come out of no where. "Come on Crona you whiner, get your ass in gear. Lady Medusa will be incredibly pissed if we are gone for too long." Crona frowns slightly and says "I know I know, but you don't have to yell."

Jack sat up out of bed and rubbed the sand out of his eyes. Immediately he noticed that he wasn't sleeping in his room on the Essanay.

"......Draycos..." Said the bewildered boy. He felt the familiar shifting feeling on his skin as the K'da warrior woke up.

"What J-" He paused as he noticed the surroundings. "...Where are we?" Said the equally confused dragon. "That's what I'm wondering. You didn't notice anything last night?" Asked Jack. "No, I noticed nothing the night before." Replied Draycos.

Jack got out of bed and looked around the room. He couldn't see any noticable traps or surveillance equipment, but he did notice that his clothes were laid out near his bed, and his tangler and comm clip were laying ontop of them. He picked up the comm clip and examined it. "It's mine alright." He said before switching it on. "Uncle Virge, do you copy? Uncle Virge?........No response." Jack sighed before he felt a surge of weight on his shoulders as Draycos became 3-dimensional and landed on the ground silently. The golden dragon-like warrior's flickered out a few times as Jack put on his leather jacket and pocketed the comm clip. "No one else has been in this room, I detect no scents." Reported Draycos. Jack nodded as he holstered his tangler. "Well, whoever brought us here, at least they were kind enough to bring my tangler. Come onboard, then we can head outside and find out what's going on." The K'da warrior nodded before leaping onto Jack and turning 2-dimensional before settling into his usual position. Jack then opened the door and headed outside.

Maria Renard was, well for one thing, dog tired... Alucard ran off after his defeat of the Dark Lord of her world, Dracula, and upon the urging of her brother-in-law, Richter Belmont, she chose to run after him... To stay with him.

They say when love hits you it is like a bolt of lightning, and that was how it felt to Maria. She hadn't been back home in over a year. However she was tired and was in a town so she had rented a room in an inn in said town. She didn't really pay much attention to the town and just plopped onto her bed.

Something hit the inn like a bolt of lightning that night... Purple energy that had made the inn and all its occupants vanish without a trace.

Maria awoke from her sleep feeling refreshed. Maria smiled at the innkeeper and paid for her night. The innkeeper looked like she was distressed about something, but Maria had left the building.

Maria sleepily looked on, confused at the streets of this new City. "There's something very familiar about this place..."

Dimitri was fast asleep. There was no one. Suddenly, he heard a horrible screech. He woke up abruptly. He was no longer on life-support, but in a new body akin to the "Metal Sonic" Sonic fought. He walked up to NICOLE and asked "What's happened?"

"See for yourself..."

He opened the door.

He walked out of his room, and started preparing tea for the day. He frowned when people didn't start coming in. He then laughed. "Of course! I didn't change the sign from 'Closed' to 'Open'!" he said, smiling. He went out to change the sign...

Then frowned.

"This isn't Ba Sing Se." the old man said, frowning. He went outside with two cups of tea. He wished Zuko was here with him, but he was busy often now, being Fire Lord and now.

Mashu Bran looked out over the City of Bina Rikashi, capital city of the wind planet Pufoon, considering his recent past and near future.

Just a short while ago, he had fought a giant insect at the center of the sun for the fate of the Kovomaka System. But what could he do now?

Well, the Space Police are back to enforcing justice for real now, and the refugees are being shipped back to their home planets. We've finished explaining what happenned to King Suspiro... the next step should be to rewire Neumann's navigational controls to get back to our Magic Planet... and explain to the principal that the rescue mission we ditched school for... failed.

Bran sighed, his characteristic smile drooping. And then what? I'm not the same lighthearted kid who left Will-O-Wisp Academy all those weeks ago. ...This is a simple question of Inertia. If I don't keep on heroing, or doing something to make the world better, then I might never- Bran looked up to see a cloud of purple energy approaching from on high. What is that? ...It seems different from my dark magic.

Bran ran towards the cloud, as it touched down, cutting through the city in his direction. Seems like my wish is granted. Bran began chanting to call upon his magic, but he'd underestimated the clouds speed, and he was knocked unconcious by the energies as it enveloped him...

The sun was setting over the lake, with only a small part of the sunset left. On the lake edge stood a man, watching the horizon as night came. He wore what seemed to be leather and metal armor, and around a hook at his belt was a long whip. The man was Simon Belmont, and the whip Vampire Killer.

The day finally ended, and the stars appeared above head. Simon was ready to turn around and return home for sleep, when he saw something rise from the water from the corner. He only had a split second before it had grabbed him and dragged him into the water, soon blacking out.

He felt weightless, his mind fuzzy. Light slowly came back to him, looking up at a bright blue sky, his vision blurry and his lungs were- I'M STILL UNDERWATER!

Simon bolted up, grabbing onto dry land. He breathed in deeply, fresh air filling his aching lungs. But it was not dirt and grass he grabbed. No, in his hands was concrete, and looking around him it was the rim of fountain. It only got stranger, as he looked around him to find not the countryside but a mass city. Buildings of strange and alien make. The people were as well, although they most likely felt the same way about the man wearing something that Conan The Barbarian might wear who just popped out of the one foot deep fountain.

Simon was simply baffled but what had happened, and out of a hundred quest, one seemed the most important. "Where am I?"

"Ugh..." Emiya Shirou opened his eyes to find pristine, oddly unblemished pavement beneath his prone form. The red-haired teen sat up, clutching at his head as he suddenly felt lightheaded. From what his squinted eyes could make out, he was in an alleyway between two enormous skyscrapers. This was certainly not the first time he'd fallen unconscious and awoken in two different locations, but it was usually within the same city, at least. Shirou had little time to dawdle, however, as he spotted two metallic creatures charging toward him at an alarming speed.

Each seemed to be slightly shorter than Shirou himself, but their stubby arms ended in wicked-looking claws, and they were balanced on a single wheel, rather than legs. Shirou scrambled to his feet and searched his immediate surroundings for any sort of weapon...until, at last, he spotted what appeared to be torn poster, still barely clinging to the side of one of the buildings. Shirou dove out of the way of one of the drones, caught the edge of the poster in one hand, and tore it from the wall. The second drone stabbed at his torso with a claw, but Shirou ducked and rolled sideways, rolling the poster into a tube shape after regaining his balance.

'Alright, no problem...' Shirou thought as he poured his prana into the poster, reinforcing its composition. The first drone charged again, but this time Shirou swung at it with all his might as it neared him. Now as strong as steel, the poster tore through the drone's arm, severing it with ease. The machine sputtered and whirred, obviously confused, and Shirou took this opportunity to swing at its head, which was launched clean off its shoulders. The second drone seemed to decide that close-range attacks were out of the question, and Shirou saw its claws retract, only to be replaced by a suspicious, cylindrical barrel. Shirou stared blankly at it for a moment, but then found the poster was no more, as it was blown to bit by a shot from the drone's cannon.

Another shot, this one expertly dodged, flew wide. Shirou scooped up the first drone's fallen arm and charged the second. Without even bothering to reinforce it, Shirou stabbed the arm like a spear, pinning the robot to the ground and cracking the previously-flawless cement. The machine sparked for a bit, but then law silent. Shirou wiped his forehead. "Right..." he said, trudging toward what he assumed to be the way back home, "Well, with any luck, I'll be able to find Sa...ber...?" Shirou glanced down at the back of his hand, only to find a severe lack of Command Crest there.

"Oh, right...Well, shit. Guess I'm on my own for now."

Jack stared down from his window at the confused jumble of humans on the streets below. Humans. Fantastic. He walked back to his desk, grabbing a Black Regisword and his switchblade. He proceeded to leave the room.

A few Dersites wandered around the catwalks of the Dersite administrative building Jack worked at. A few imps still stood around aimlessly as well. Jack snapped his fingers, and every creature on the catwalk faced him. He pointed at two Shale Imps, one wearing a princess hat with a clownish outfit and a beak, and another with wings and a missing arm. "You two are coming with me. The rest of you, I don't give a flying fuck. File some paperwork or something."

At Jack's words, the Dersites filed into the administrative building, along with a number of Shale Imps and Chalk Imps. Jack walked toward the Transportalizer in the center of the catwalk, the two Shale Imps in tow. The three disappeared in a puff.

A moment later, Jack and the Imps appeared at a corresponding Transportalizer at the entrance of the building. Jack drew his Regisword as they exited the building and began to walk down the street, toward a nearby shop where an old man was sharing tea with a weird animal-thing.
