So, Princess Bubblegum:
She's a human/bubblegum hybrid princess scientist who brought candy people back from the dead (eventually doing it without side effects).
I have a message from another time...I've only seen 1 episode,and I love it.
It's not quite as Crazy Awesome as the pilot was, but it still makes me laugh. Even "Business Time," which seemed pretty weak overall, had some great lines.
Fin: (playing with him malleable stomach, in the shape of Princess Bubblegum) *high pitched voice* I'm Princess Bubblegum, and I'm a dork becuase I like science. Also, I have an annoying voice that Fin finds aTTRACtive!
Jake: Ha ha ha! Wait, what?

Thanks for the all fish!I was amused by the Family-Unfriendly Aesop about Royal Promises at the end of Slumber Party Panic. It reminded me of "Shooting things is fun and useful!"
Oh, and I like that new commercial, showing that it was as successful as I hoped.
And where the arf are people seeing "Business Time" or the Marceline episode?

I have a message from another time...They were aired as early previews.
Also, I think my only problem is that the pilot was like an ultra-condensed animated movie. It was a classic Save the Princess plot that moved through different set pieces at rapid fire with a surprisingly good final battle.
The episodes themselves are a little more low-key, usually dealing with more minor problems. To be honest, none of the episodes have really had the "adventure" feeling the pilot did.
Of course, that just leads me to belive that the whole "What time is it?" routine is simply being saved for something truly awesome.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"Well, the upcoming episode seems to be the one where the Ice King kidnaps like, all the princesses, so maybe it'll feel more like the pilot?
I have a message from another time...I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm glad to see there's still insanity left in the creators after the pilot. The whole Mallow Tea Ceremony bit really caught me off guard, with Jake's whole "This tea party sucks in a big way, princess!"
The Ice King appears? Finally. I've been waiting for him to appear in the show, aside from the cameo in the episode were Marceline was.
^same here.
Awww, Tree Trunks is kinda cute.
I have a message from another time...Tree Trunks has, like, the weirdest voice ever. He/she is the same voice actor from another Pen Ward creation, Bravest Warriors.
Thanks for the all fish!Wow. Brain Beasts are hilarious.
Attack the RIDICULOUSLY HUGE weak spot gem For Massive Damage!
I have a message from another time..."...And I think should seduce that Tentacle guy with my femmine wiles and Elephant itelligence."
Lolwut?
...WHAT? WHAT? WH- WHAT?

I have a message from another time...on the ending:
...Dude
A damn hilarious downer ending though.
Easy street has no parking signs.WHAT.
I have a message from another time...^EVERYTIME YOU SAY THAT WE'LL DESTROY AN OLD LADY!
This might very be the most talked about episode ending of any cartoon I've seen. Every forum I frequent that has a cartoon board is scratching their heads over this one.
Good game, P. Ward. Good Game.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"By the way, has anyone seen the show's ending credits yet? Because damn is it catchy.
I found "Evicted!" on Youtube, but the uploaded video was only 10 minutes, so it cut off right at the end of the fight. Anyone know where the last 2 minutes or so are?
Oh, and I checked the Toon Zone forum; they're confused over the end of "Tree Trunks", same as us.

I have a message from another time...Tree Trunks was definitely a "what the christ" for me, too. Sad... I liked sweet li'l Tree Trunks.
I think the Slime Princess was cute, though. :D
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI'm actually kind of amazed how "cute" the show manages to be at times. I mean, you have some genuine what the? endings like in "Evicted" and "Tree Trunks", but then you have the surprisingly cute endings of "Trouble in Lumpy Space" and "Prisoners of Love". I consider "Slumber Party Panic" to be kind of a half-and-half on that scale, though.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"
So i think that its a good time to start a thread about the series in general huh?
GOH! JII! RAH!
