Would anyone mind giving a reread to the Hoothoot article and seeing what can/should I do with the childbearing part? Everytime I try to think about it I come out blank and it is already getting on my nerves.

I'm thinking of what Gen IV topic can I write an article about.

Have you done any research on how RL Owls mate? If you have, then I guess I could scrounge up something Bare-Bones for you and you can add your Silent Reverence spice to it.

Also, have you fully read the Palkia Article yet? You always give me awesome pot holes and catch all my grammar mistakes when others don't.

I have admittedly done too little research on RL owls, at least the mate selection part, but I'm having trouble seeing bird childbearing as more than "bring worms to nest, watch chicks tear them from both sides" for some reason.

As for Palkia, I've been reading the article some more, let me add some minor Silent Reverence ©®™ spice to it.

1.- Given that Palkia is to be considered "female" remember to pothole the talons to Femme Fatalons.

2.- Since you talked about transformations into "a bucker of water and a Sharpedo" I was truly expecting a pothole to the Superfriends, or, if a page exists, to the Wonder Twins. Maybe something can be played there, although I'd consider it minor (and who wants the Wonder Twins anyway? )

3.- "the anima to its animus"

4.- "The language used by Palkia is the language that the recipient thinks in" (if you can add some more anecdotes like Palika getting word of a neologism and requesting a human to explain it you could get to pothole My Hovercraft Is Full of Eels as well).

5.- "and enhanced their telescopes to the point where they first discovered cells" — you may have want to talk about microscopes in this one.

6.- "Eventually, she had had enough, and legend states that She once came to a group of philosophers to merely talk" — different capitalization of the "She"s where the implied deference is about the same.

7.- I'd have to check what story or work best fits whe Apricorn story to pothole around.

8.- Given the location of Palkia's "pearls", some reordering of the second and third paragraphs may allow you to pothole to Diamonds in the Buff; to do so it may be fundamental, however, to reinforce the idea that the notion of Palkia "femininity" is (apparently) attributed by humans first and foremost.

9.- You may want to link Power Crystals to the description of Palkia's signature attack (I'm not sure if Signature Move itself should be linked).

10.- The paragraph stating the Apricorn legend starts most if not all sentences with "and" and "but". Rewording the sentence leads to indications of continuity (such as "such" and "hence") may make the paragraph read less fragmented.

11.- The hippies part should link to Mass Teleportation.

12.- "even if the creature did not simply use its powers to strand one in another place"...

13.- I've been looking for a way to describe Palkia's appearance in a manner that allows potholing Memetic Mutation on Her suppossedly "phalic" appearance but since I don't even accidentally it, I may not be the most adequate person to even try.

Hmm... Apricorns having some sort of natural ability to create dimensional pockets could actually bring some closure to the Pokéball issue for once.

This potholing talk reminds me that I really wanted to link to the Cinnabar Anomaly somehow in my Viridian article, but I couldn't figure out how without making it feel too forced.

Still great job. Liked the tone of the Giratina one better, but this is also great (Gold, you selfish bastard, why did you take both mini-Dialga and mini-Palkia?).

The shoulder pearls having a similar structure to real pearls also makes quite some sense for the ruler of space: Pearls are just a series of concentric spheres around a small core. Make that core a dimensional point, and you have a great motif for space.

Also, Palkia naturally learns several water attacks, such as Water Pulse and Hydro Pump. It is more of a water Pokemon than the credit it was given.

Other that that, great.

Gold did not take both mini-Dialga and mini-Palkia. Gold/Ethan took mini-Dialga and Kris/Lyra took mini-Palkia.

I have to reread the Arceus article then...

Also, you said that Kris and Lyra are the same, just like Gold and Ethan? My respect for you has skyrocketed.

Oh, and another thing Erio; Palkia is not made of cells, Palkia just helped paved the way for humans to discover cells. I just want that to be clear, I learned my lesson from the Giratina Article. Also, the Arceus article is terrible and needs massive clean-up.

I'd do it myself, but our policy states that we don't edit articles without the consent of the original writer. And since the original author of the Arceus Article is currently nowhere to be found...

I suppose one of us could write an separate article on Arceus if the guy who wrote it is nowhere to be found. I've had theoretical one spinning in my head with excerpts from an in-universe book from a famous researcher cataloging the events from Arceus' discovery, to studies on its vast abilities, the political and religious shitstorm having a freaking GOD in our midst would stir up. And how everything Man knew about the universe and its place in it is completely and utterly shattered.

Essentially, that we are all living in the shadow of Arceus.

But I have too many articles lined up, so it wouldn't be fair for me to do this.

By the way, would it be a good idea if general articles about groups of Pokemon were made, to somewhat homogenice the articles even if done by different people? A general entry for starters, a general entry for pseudo-legendaries, a general entry for a legendary trio (legendaries are not homogeneous in terms of lore, so better deal with them with subunits), etc... Would it work? Would it be too much work?
