He even loses to Tao.
Valk too for that matter. Did valk ever win a fight during the actual games canonically?
He completely and utterly kicked Relius' ass...offscreen.
CP is Bang's time to shine. So he cannot be a jobber. His dream girlfriend is way more jobber than he could ever dream of. Jobs on her goal. Jobs on almost every fights she's in.
Jobs on popularity too
I don't think Bullet jobs on her final goal, considering that she at least gets a good closure.
Disclaimer, because I know everyone will suddenly get paranoid when I mention this: I wasn't complaining. I was just making fun on her really unfortunate state. Sometimes, you make fun of someone you like. Just like how much you like to rib on how Ragna is a Memetic Loser.

Bang IS a Joke Character story-wise (until CP where he developed enough to stand along the casts in fights, unlike before which is beaten by Tao). Valkenhayn only rarely fights.
Even then in CF there's still some stronger than him (not counting Embryo weakenings); Azrael, Amane, Nine (only beaten via distraction), Izanami, Susano'o (Ragna didn't overpower him but used his Achilles' Heel), Es, Take-Mikazuchi Nu.
Kagura, Hakumen (40%), Terumi and good chance Relius are equals to base Ragna that point. Also base Azrael too.
Cross-posting from the BBTAG thread:
Central Fiction announced to be part of an ASW world tournament lasting from this fall up to next year's fall.
Two random thoughts about the concept of a Chrono Phantasma:
All Mirror Matches throughout Blaz Blue are characters fighting Chrono Phantasmas of themselves from a few seconds in the past
Or at least, that would be my guess on Mirror Matches during and after CP. They could still count for CT and CS even if the concept didn't exist until after these games, because in-universe it was still a thing.
The second thought, tying into the first is if a Chrono Phantasma can even exist at the same time as the original. Celica is the only reference point, and her original older self is long dead by the time she's brought back. I Also wonder if them dying is something that's always going to happen or not. Kokonoe seemed to be sure of it, but as I've said, we've only ever seen one.
Food for thought.
Speaking of food, has anyone else played Eat Beat Deadspike-San? Should I start a proper work page for it?
I've played it. Its pretty good, though I don't like that it focuses mostly on the CP remixes.
Ewwwww not the CP remixes :/
Playing Under night in birth latest has given me a new appreciation for Blazblue's levels. Like UNIB's or Persona Arena's levels don't even compare.. BB's are really exotic and filled with vibrancy lacking in the above mentioned games(though that sort of makes sense considering the context in which the levels take place).
Like despite being 10 years old Halloween is still a really awesome looking level.
yeah I know, right? like that bartabuke level, its amazing, but what the hell is it?
So which parts of canon do you guys think would be safe to ignore and safe to keep?
Doesn’t really matter friend
So how do beastkin work? are they susceptible to the instincts of their respective animal or is that only canon to the gag reels?
Depends. Those with lesser intelligence tend to be more driven by their instincts (which make them act more like an animal) while more intelligent ones act more human. Compare Taokaka and Kokonoe for instance.
Central Fiction Special Edition coming to Switch
BBCF Special Edition coming for Switch
I'm gonna guess this will have a the DLC content right from the get-go along with some Nintendo reference colours. inb4 people start asking for a dub again.
Kokonoe is also half human.
Dub or no buy.
Good thing I ain't got a Switch.
You know what's funny, even if they do dub it, people will just bitch about it being an exclusive :^).
If they do go for a dub I wonder if a patch or dlc for ps4/pc would be possible.
Sad I can see ASW doing something that scummy.
So I take it the "no dub no buy" discourse is very much still "The Song That Doesn't End"
I made the right move never buying BBCF. If Special Edition comes to PS 4 (let's face it, it will) I hope for a dub. Would still get otherwise.
