This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Alright, fair enough on that one. Though again I must stress that I added Grammarly to avoid spelling errors, Sure minor one might slip the gap but nothing that bad
Zero context, I don't quite grasp what that one is. Can you provide an example so I can better understand the charges?

I got suspended over an edit war which I never knew about anyways (until I saw ATT) regarding The Rising Of The Shield Hero, on the tropes that I kept re-adding which involves the character being an Asshole Victim which I actually thought it's about Jerkass or horrible people with hardly redeeming any traits.

~star_warriors: You've received several private messages linking you to our policy pages on Zero Context Examples and Conversation in the Main Page. If something is unclear about these, let us know, but it doesn't sound like you've tried to look at them at all.
Let's start with a few of your recent additions on WesternAnimation.Mao Mao Heroes Of Pure Heart.
This is a zero-context example, and also has grammatical problems.
- Parental Issues: Mao Mao has this bad in the ep 'Not Impressed'
You uncommented the following, which are also zero-context.
- Scenery Porn: The backgrounds are detailed and very nice to look at.
- Sugar Bowl: Pure Heart Valley was one for thousands of years thanks to the Ruby Pure Heart shielding it.
On Film.Godzilla King Of The Monsters 2019, you added the following under Artistic License – Biology.
Please explain what is wrong with each of these and how to fix them.

First, our policy on edit wars is quite clear. If an edit is contested and you make it again without fully resolving the issue in discussion, you are violating the rules and will be suspended. You posted in discussion but then went and made the same edit without waiting for an answer.
Second, you are misusing the trope Asshole Victim.
Third, your English grammar is not up to our standards. You must improve before you will be allowed to edit again. We have a forum topic where you can post edits that you would like to make, which other tropers can proofread. If you demonstrate that you can write properly without help, we will reconsider your appeal.

Mostly, you ignored commented out notes and unilaterally changed images decided on by a forum called Image Pickin'. The comments denote that if you wish to change those images, you must start a thread for them.
On the side, there are also issues with zero-context examples and grammar (which you demonstrated in your appeal). If grammar issues are left unchecked, they leave messes that others must clean up. For now, you'll need to run any examples you'd like to add through this thread until you can write an example without errors.
Yeah, I never really bother checking my messages cause they're pretty sporadic. and they usually get deleted in a short amount of time. but thank you for the new links. Now that I properly grasped the concept of zero context, I don't quite remember doing that, but I don't think you did any error for this so I will take your word for it.
Also, I am not going to lie, I didn't know uncommented was a thing, I mean I kinda knew since I saw them, but I thought it was some weird spoiler thing.

You've said in the past that you have difficulty understanding our rules, and while I sympathize, that doesn't mean you can get away with breaking them forever. This is your fourth suspension. I see no point in offering more chances.

...Oooohhh, right, my apologies for misusing the bullet points. Old habits still going through. I'll try to avoid using the third bullet as much as possible.
Well, it's my fanfic. And I'm turning it into a book. Which means it would be a good idea to remove its existance as a fanfic. Really, it is my fanfic. Guess that explains any edits I've made regarding it, although clearly they're not appropriate edits.

Oh, I'm sorry. I honestly didn't realise you had that kind of policy - seriously. Can we not count this as a serious strike, and just move on then? I really didn't realise - I mean, maybe I should have realised, I don't know... I'm going to take the fic down in time, but it seems the Trope Page is yours. I'd have just rather people didn't think of my first book as former Sonic fanfic, you get my drift?
I mean, it's not the sort of thing that shows up in standard rules. More like fine print for if you write fanfics, get your fanfic up here, and then intend to refine them into 180-chapter novels. Not exactly the majority, you know?
I guess I do appreciate the publicity...

OK, I'm guessing calling someone a bootlicker and a paid shill isn't a good look. Guess I'd best avoid discussion pages to avoid this punishment.
But isn't it true that everybody makes mistakes? Nobody's perfect. I'm fairly sure that we make more than four mistakes in our lives. You say to check the rules. It's not in the rules - or at least, not in the standard rules section.
It says TV Tropes is only interested in a friendly, civil forum... haven't I been consistently friendly and civil? Have my infractions been for malicious attacks on people or pages, or provocation?
Rules Lawyer? I never said this was a court of law. And since it's not a court of law, you can change your minds, right?

~Fighteer: Articles should present information. Points should be relevant and lead into each other in a natural way. Responding to a previous statement doesn't lend itself to this, presenting conflicting information or information in a place or way that doesn't fit.
That specific edit was added on to the end of another entry. I provided more information afterwards, instead of as part of it. Looking back, I don't think the information was really necessary.
