From what I gather on the YKTTW, it's a really specific trope requiring two old foes/rivals meeting, fighting, and then, too exhausted to get up, talking about their lives and navel-gazing.

Lying In The Dirt Together currently has 20 wicks, only 10 of which are for examples. The trope was launched August 31, 2010. Its original TLP title was Lying in the Dirt With My Former Friend
, which doesn't shed much more light on the trope than the final, non-indicative title does. The trope is supposed to be about "randomly encountering an old foe and fighting for old time's sake," so I don't know if the title is a reference to some piece of media I haven't seen, or what.
If the trope is kept (because there's a lot more on-page examples of varying degrees of context than there are wicks), I recommend changing the trope name. If the trope is cut/yarded for failure to thrive, so be it.
