I'll admit that the first picture isn't immediately scary, but it is the image most people associate with The Backrooms because it's the first picture to show what the hallways looked like, and it's banking on Nothing Is Scarier combined with the rest of the lore. That said, it's also the work page image, where it fits much better.
I agree that the Found Footage image is best.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI'm kinda biased against it on NF, because I think the whole premise of The Backrooms is unscary and the yellow filter makes the room look like piss, but yes, as it's the most iconic image of a work without a clear logo it should be on its Main.
Probably the best image is the Kane Pixels, but I'm just curious why what seems to be 3-4 different series all share a work page? (Kane Pixels, Into The Backrooms, Found Footage (1992), and the Backrooms in general)
"Squid has to go to market. He's had to go to market for as long as he's sucked water."This has also bugged me too, but it would probably be best to discuss in a Wiki Talk thread.
Welcome to Ideal's WorldYeah, these all seem like independent works.
I guess the idea is that each series is part of the same lore, but... yeah.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIt's a collectively-developed horror setting, similar to the SCP Foundation (but less formalised) or all the works inspired by Slenderman.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableTo be fair though, the Slender Man works are all still considered individual works. We have a page for the overall "franchise", but there's no subpage that lumps things like Every Man Hybrid in with Slender and Slender Man.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAlso, the work is on the WebOriginal/ namespace, which I've been cutting down on due to heavy misuse, so I could really get behind a split.
Anyway, to the third image.
I'd like to apologize for all this.To make it simpler, here's the images in question.
Image 1, the main image associated with the entire Backrooms:
Image 2, depicting the corpse of Nicolas Bolton from the Kane Pixels series:
Image 3, depicting a monster from Backrooms - Found Footage (1992):
"Squid has to go to market. He's had to go to market for as long as he's sucked water."Clock is set. I think both 12.2 and 12.3 are good and would rather preserve them by splitting the page.
- WebOriginal.The Backrooms
- WebVideo.Kane Pixels The Backrooms
- WebVideo.Into The Backrooms / VideoGame.Into The Backrooms (Found out there is a video game with the same title and premise as the video and I'm unsure of which is the original or if they're related)
- WebVideo.Backrooms Found Footage 1992
Would these work as the new pages?
Edit: The Into The Backrooms video is the original, as the game has not been released yet.

"Squid has to go to market. He's had to go to market for as long as he's sucked water."^Works for me
Works for me too.
I'd like to apologize for all this.Better but I'd still pull the main Backrooms pic. It's not that scary and works better as the main on the Work page.
Hey, ~Mae Bea how the split on this going? If it's started, we can table this discussion.
My plan was to do them one at a time. In order to gather feedback and see if there was anything that needed adjustment before a split, I made a TLP draft, but so far it's just been a single user commenting and a few commentless hats.
"Squid has to go to market. He's had to go to market for as long as he's sucked water."OK, I made a mod call and pulled the first pic for being a duplicate of the main work page.
I otherwise tagged the page with this thread and for the impending split. Locking up.
Multiple images. The "General" one sucks - it's just an empty room. "Kane Pixels" is a little better, but it's also sort of a "guy looking ominous" pic. My vote is for "Animated Horror Flicks".
