Cleanup Thread: MCU Character Pages

Again it makes more sense than listing a whole Realm under one character. The number of folders don't matter just if it meets the bite count, I mean MCU: Pym Family has less folders and was made by this thread. So I say either wait for Gorr on his own to be big enough or make a Shadow Realm page.

So I removed the Shadow Realm section from Gorr's page and he's nearly there at 37K. wait a little bit at he'll be over 40K in no time.

I also want to move the Dark God over to the Cosmic section under the Shadow Realm, as they aren't technically a God. Also possibly rename him, but I have no better names.

Okay, so I checked back in on that page now, and now all of my edits have been reverted, so now if I get rid of the misuse on that page, I'm gonna be edit warring, so I'm quickly gonna go through the edits I made here and then get rid of them on the main page so a copy/paste routine doesn't add the misuse back in (this was 100% my fault for not double checking the main page, so I assume they just got copy/pasted back in during a page update).

That's on top of the grammar fixes I made in that edit as seen here, plus a minor expansion to Nay-Theist. Is there any issue with me redoing this edit on the sandbox and main page so this doesn't happen again?

Whoops, my bad. I just meant to crosswick added examples from the actual folder. If you want to revert it I won't call it edit-warring. I just copy and pasted from the main page.

I have removed the misuses from the main page. If some of those misuses are not actually misuses, feel free to add them back.

So I want to suggest moving the Celestials to the deities page and the dark god to the cosmic page under the shadow realm. I’m also wondering if for species for the god what species should be used. Ninny the Nonnie is a Kronan god so is he technically a kronan or does god come first? And on the MCU wikia the Egyptian Gods are listed as the Ennead for the whole race. Should that be adopted?

Taking this one point at a time:

I'm cool with moving the Celestials to Deities. They were barely separable from Gods anyway before Love and Thunder had one show up in Omnipotent City.

I'm also cool with the Dark God being moved to Cosmic. As for species, do we even know what it was? I don't think it ever got mentioned or that we could clearly see the corpse. If we can't figure it out just list it as "unknown", cause we technically don't even know if it was a god much less what its species was.

As for the other gods with confirmed species, I personally would put their species as "God (race)" because that way it avoids the issue entirely and gets both facets of the race in there. So in Ninny's case, I would put "God (Kronan)".

I can't speak on the Egyptian Gods because I haven't seen Moon Knight, so I'd wait until someone who actually did see it can weigh in.

I did some more crosswicking and got Gorr of 40K. Can someone please doublecheck my work for misuse? I think its all good to go for me to launch but I want someone to check it over for me.

It looks all good to me! I did one last check and removed Near-Villain Victory again, but it's still past 41K so it should be fine to launch.

Should Hela's helmet be moved from MCU: Others to Hela's page? That probably determines whether the Necrosword goes to Gorr's page.

The Shadow Monsters can also probably be included on Gorr's page.

I'm fine moving Hela's helmet - it's all hers after all - but personally, that doesn't necessarily mean the Necrosword also has to move. The sword is confirmed to have had other wielders use it and Gorr's just the latest - that'd be kinda like putting the Infinity Stones on Thanos's page to me.

Can go either way on the Shadow Monsters now that Gorr's page is made.

I wonder if it wouldn't hurt to at least link to where the Necrosword can be found.

Though considering the Berserkers are at Hela's page, I'm pretty strongly in favor of having the Shadow Monsters with Gorr.

Like I said, while we were sandboxing Gorr's page there was the question of what all should go on it (cause for a hot second the entire Shadow Realm was in there) - I'm cool with the Shadow Monsters going there.

The entire Shadow Realm? If it was actually Gorr's, then maybe, but as it is, not so much

I could go either way on the shadow monsters going on Gorr's page.

Oh, and you want Vile Villain, Saccharine Show instead of Knight of Cerebus. I've done that.

Ok so this is where it gets tricky. The shadow monsters are creations of the necrosword, which is In turn wielded by multiple people and linked to the shadow realm. So im not even sure if the shadow monsters exist by themselves or are a direct byproduct of the necrosword.

So Sandbox.MCU Ghost Rider is over 40K by himself. That should probably be looked at.

I’m also going to launch Gorr later tonight unless there are any objections?

Ghost Rider is a title in the MCU so wouldn't it makes more sense to also include Johnny blaze there?

Well I agree but I couldn’t get the formatting to look nice, and by himself Robbie Reyes is over 40K.

GateStarX and I have pretty much agreed that when Johnny Blaze is formally introduced in the MCU and has his own page, the title of his page will be "Johnny Blaze" since Robbie Reyes is officially the first Ghost Rider to be shown in the MCU.
