The trope has been around since 2010, but it has only amassed a total of 11 examples and 17 wicks. Since the concept is solid and the examples are valid, I vote to either send it back to TLP or Salvage Yard it.

Since there's no problem with the trope besides the lack of examples, send it to TLP. Don't think there's a need to yard, it's already full trope, it can be cloned into a draft and checked how it's doing in a week or two.

I can copy the contents of the trope into a draft. and watch over it in TLP if yarding/sending back to TLP gets enough consensus.

I think we can save this trope. Maybe add a couple of examples and wicks to get it up and running.

It definitely feels like there's more to flesh out here; for example, this is usually the inverse of what it looks like from the worker's perspectives, where they're the ones bombarded by customers.

Does it have to be in a store? First thing that comes to mind that isn't there are the Iskoort from Animorphs but they're outdoors.

When drafted, that reversed case of "shop clerk overwhelmed by customers" probably needs to be addressed, either as Internal Subtrope or yarded as own thing.

There's at least one video game that plays the retail experience for horror... Well, retail's already a horror, but you know what I mean.

I think that idea can be drafted separately. I wouldn't mind doing it if we can compile examples.
