Wikiword / custom title cleanup thread

Symbols don't appear as they should in the custom title tray - I usually accept it and see how it looks on the page.

~mjnorcros are you trying to create a work page for something called "Time Patrol Bon"? The WikiWord menu is not the correct place to do so. Please see How to Create a Work Page.

~Jon T, please do not add namespaces or other words not in the page title. I declined your suggestion for The Rescuers for that reason.

~Beescy TVT, like I told another user, custom wikiwords affect how a page's title is displayed, so don't apply namespaces or any words/numbers that weren't there initially. If you want to disambiguate Doom, just create it in a new location. Here's a courtesy link for what I am sure you were intending.

Shouldn't it be VideoGame.Doom I, because the sequel used Roman numerals?

The reboot series has a recycled title Doom (2016). VideoGame.Doom 1993 is more appropriate. The current release on Steam and Epic Store is also named Doom (1993).

To use that custom title, the page will have to be moved to The Dropper 2: Newton vs. Darwin

Declined multiple improper custom title requests from ~Grand Cheese since they would have completely changed the pages' names. Those names should be turned into redirects instead (if they aren't already); use this thread if they aren't already redirects.

Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story got created as the game has recently released. Though Im not sure the subtitle really needs to be part of it ("A League of Legends Story"). All the other Riot Forge games we cover don't include it except for Convergence, which is only to disambiguate it from another work with the same name. (Ruined King and The Mageseeker both have standalone namespaces)

I assume it has something to do with the capitalization needing to be fixed but Redacted SMP's custom title doesn't display on wicks. I tried resubmitting it earlier.

~taotruths - The HFIL custom title requests (HFILE1 -> HFIL - Episode 1: Cell in a Hell, HFILE2 -> HFIL - Episode 2: Sharing Circles of Hell, etc.) have been declined, as they would be renaming the pages. If you want the episode titles to be part of the page names, then see How to Move a Page.
