I noticed that while the Stuffed in the Fridge redirect has a list of namespaces to clean (and which ones have been cleaned), the main Stuffed into the Fridge page doesn't. Should a list of work page namespaces be added to that list, or is cleanup already done for it?

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Ah, those are namespaces that I've already cleaned.
So only the redirect is left?

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. The main Stuffed into the Fridge wicks haven't been looked at. I should be able to finish up the redirect wicks.
So what's the difference between this trope and Revenge by Proxy? Just the revenge portion?
Revenge is not a necessary motivation by the villain or a reaction by the hero.
- The villain might kill Bob's girlfriend Alice as revenge for Bob destroying his base. He might also kill her For the Evulz, or to trigger Bob's Face–Heel Turn, or some other reason.
- The hero might decide to avenge his girlfriend's death after the villain kills her. He might also give up on heroism altogether, or spend a season crying about it until he gets a new girlfriend and then returns to fight the villain for a different reason, or some other reaction.
It turns out I misread the sandbox when I looked at it earlier, which is why I asked what I did in my previous posts. I misread "have been looked through" as "have to be looked through".
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. Is there a trope for when the murder or attempt at it is done to be as grisly as possible for extra emotional harm, as opposed to just a bullet in the head?
That's for the death itself, but what about the intent to be cruel, whether one is successful or not?
Retty sure that's still Cruel and Unusual Death. From the description:
Deaths like this tend to fall into two categories: The first one is where the victim is a rather sadistic villain who deserves it, who you really aren't going to feel sorry for (well, maybe a little...). The second one is where the killer fits that description, and the intent is to show the viewers how sadistic they are (more often than not, it's convincing).
A death that's needlessly awful for the sake of sadism or cruelty is a Cruel and Unusual Death. The cruelty towards the victim's loved ones is included; as far as I know there isn't a seperate trope for that needless cruelty being directed at the loved ones specifically.

Haven't forgotten about this — bumping to note that I've finally finished cleaning the redirect T_T
So that leaves the main work namespace wicks to look through, which I'll be working on.
I can help on this now that my three stalled threads have been closed.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessBump.
I'll jump back into this when 2022 rolls around... at least we're not deleting everything.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessStarted on Characters/, knocked out about 90-something wicks.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness~Real Escape 99 has (re?*)made a PlayingWith.Stuffed Into The Fridge page. Fanspeak and disambigs don't get those, right?
(*I vaguely remember making one, but it was cut at some point after we enacted the disambiguation.)
is fridging just a fanspeak thing? i thought it was an actual trope
It became fanspeak as the result of this thread because it was being used very inconsistently and the actual definition was covered by multiple other tropes.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessYeah, the main Stuffed into the Fridge page has already been disambiguated/fan speak'd for a while.
Which makes me wonder if we should remove that image, since it makes it look more like a legit 'trope'.
Maybe? I don't mind it. Anyone who actually visits the page would see that it's no longer a trope, anyway. The issue is people not visiting the page.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI don't have a problem with taking this to Image Pickin.
As for the Playing With page, I don't think it should have one since Fan Speak falls under the Not a Trope category. Maybe the Laconic and Quotes subpages should go as well.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Anyway, made it up to the N's under Characters/. I'll continue going after dinner.
I should say that I haven't been cutting every wick. I'm sparing potholes that reference Fridging as a concept. Just before anyone is worried about the handful of other Characters/ wicks that weren't thrown into the fire.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessSecond verse, different from the first!
Characters/ has been completed. Feels good to say that after slogs like Not So Different...
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWas able to check about 80 of the Main/ wicks before my computer threw a fit because it has the storage space of a walnut. I might've been a little too strict about what I kept and cut, and I'm not entirely sure what our stance on indices and description mentions are, so if I made any unnecessary cuts I apologize, though most of them were just "woman dies horribly" or even worse, Character Death in the general.
Then there's Double Standard which is locked and has like 5 wicks so idk.

Crown Description:
Stuffed in the Fridge's usage suffers from an unclear distinction and overlapping usage with Disposable Woman and offsite usage with a different definition than our narrower one ("fridging" = "a woman is killed to motivate the hero"). What should be done with the page itself? Note: if "keep and refine definition" wins, the scope will be decided on in another crowner.
Forgot to post it here — I've been very slow crosswicking it, but Targeted to Hurt the Hero is up and running.
(ETA New page) Sandbox.Cleaning Out The Fridge - track cleanup
