Is it time to call the crowner?

Wow, didn't know my question in the NC cleanup thread actually led to TRS action. Neat!

New description looks good. Is the implication that expanding the trope also includes a renaming? I'm not certain on Cross Race Face Blindness because I'm not sure if the term "cross-race" will be immediately recognizable, and I'm partial to something like Racial Face Blindness or even Racist Face Blindness since it's often used to point to insensitivity, innocent or otherwise.

I believe now would be the time, yes.

The following names were suggested:

• Identical Minority Group
• Identical Minority Groups
• Mistook People Of Another Race
• Cross Race Effect
• Cross Race Face Blindness
• Xerox Race Members
• Copy Paste Race Members
• Racial Face Blindness
• Racist Face Blindness

Mentioning them before I put them in a crowner because I'm not sure if some of these should not be included.

Omit the ones that suggest the trope is Only Six Faces But Racial.

I believe these ones would be left, if so:

• Mistook People Of Another Race
• Cross Race Effect
• Cross Race Face Blindness
• Racial Face Blindness
• Racist Face Blindness

Make the crowner.

It wasn't even hooked.

Too much going on in the TRS, which is why it probably went unnoticed.

Anyway, hollered to hook already.

I moved the subpage contents to Racial Face Blindness and cutlisted the subpages.

I suggest adding this to the description, since the trope originates in "all Asians look alike" and most usage is likely of the East Asian flavor.

What to do with this example? From Red Dawn (2012). Move to Trivia under Fake Nationality and note Racial Face Blindness in the writeup?

Added your description suggestion. Also rewrote the on-page examples to not say "Inverted" when it's an Asian who can't tell white people apart.

So...wait, in that case, what would an inverted example be?

There technically wouldn't be any inverted examples in the old sense... An inverted example now would be someone not being able to tell members of their own race apart.
