Keep on Pair the Spares, 2.3 for Wedding Day.

back lolI don't quite the essence of the trope. Is it an ending trope about weddings concluding a story arc or is it a supertrope for all wedding-related tropes (as the first two paragraphs suggest)?
Honestly, this has been on my "Tropes that need TRS" radar for a while; I'll bet it's decayed into "someone gets married".
Anyway, 2.1 is nice. 2.3 is the whole "strip", no?

I like 2.2 the best, pending TRS action.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand! It's a whole page, but considering that the comic goes in chapter and not in strips, I don't think it qualifies as the "whole" artwork.
2.1 is the clearest, but I agree, this trope looks like People Sit on Chairs, so it needs TRS.

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I'm good to pull the pic from Wedding Day and let this go to TRS.
Sure, it can go on the... backlog of the backlog.
Bumping. I got curious so I did the wick check — for anyone curious about the nitty gritty, it's on Sandbox.Wedding Day WC. But it's looking kinda gross:
Results:
- "Wedding hijinks/wedding does not go smoothly": 11/50 = 22%
- "A wedding happens": 34/50 = 68%
- Lacks context/misc": 5/50 = 10%
I'm willing to start a TRS thread for this, but it'll probably take a while before it's opened. Pull in the meantime?

^ Perhaps you can isolate the cases of "A wedding happens" which conclude a story (as in Happily Ever After). That sounds like a tropeworthy concept as compared to a wedding happens in act 2.
Keep in the meantime.
I was actually thinking that "wedding day episode" might be doable (all the fun of Dress-Up Episode with all the drama of Wedding and Engagement Tropes) in addition to "wedding day finale". Or a "oh crap the wedding is going wrong" thing ala Fun In The Funeral, which I considered to be the 'correct' use judging by the description. But that is outside the purview of this forum.
Anyway, the problem with keeping is that it's a dupe...

Alright, then pull.
Clock is set.
So, pull in the meantime?
Let's pull and close (unless if we see a replacement).

Apparently, the previous thread for Pair the Spares Failed a Spot Check and didn't catch that the top pic was already on Wedding Day. note
I think Wedding Day is easier to replace.
